I grew up with the judds in the early 80s. Yesterday my son called me with tears n said Naomi passed away . The one song the judds did my son had this past oct for his wedding for mother n son son was love can build a bridge . When I hear that song I my heart just take it to heart .. sending My thoughts n prayers out to family n friends n to the country music family

I have a set of great great grandparents who both were born in Kentucky and I only live an hour away from the Kentucky border so I've been there a lot. Beautiful state, beautiful people! Have MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and anxiety myself, and have for decades. I know full well those horrible lowest of lows that can happen when medications no longer work or something else is happening, either biologically or life circumstances or at times both. Thinking of you dear Naomi and know that you are now surrounded by the most amazing love and peace. Thank you for gifting the world with your beautiful spirit and songs, forever enshrined in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

I think the heartbreak comes not as much from her death but from what caused it. It hurts to know someone hurts so bad that they chose to go this way. My ex husband and children suffer from depression and it scares me probably more than they will ever know
People say it was the cause of her death... What was the cause of her death. I already know it was suicide. I'm guessing she took sleeping pills, went to sleep and never woke up. If that's not what it was then what was it.

I don't think anybody ever expects to hear the death of or sudden death of any world wide known person. And when we do, it's a shock. People still don't know what the cause of her death was.
Her childhood and upbringing weren't good and I'm guessing growing up it caught up with her and all the garbage that came with it. So at 76 yrs of age she ended it.

It doesn't matter how it happened! All that matters is, she tried really hard to live her best life and was successfully able to do so, for a really long time!
