It's kind of... hard to describe because of it's uniqueness, i'd say. It's kind of a driving survival game, but you don't have to worry about getting food or water, as Cyrus said, the car is more the protagonist, so you've got to worry about fuel, and the health of the parts. It's also a story driven game, It'll let you do things at your pace, but to advance the game you're going to have to progress the story, you cant fallout-4 or skyrim your way through this one xD All that being said, most of the time, you're going to be driving, not walking (you can, i wouldn't recomend xD). It also has no multiplayer, coop or otherwise, which i think works very well for this game, when peaceful it really sells you this... vastness idea, that you're very much alone, with noone around exept for your car, the few people in the radio, and the anomalies. And then when things get violent and you have to run, it also works really well because... it's all up to you. There's noone around to lend a helping hand, it's either do or die, and contrary to a lot of games in which you can put up a fight because you have guns or even a shovel... here you have nothing but your trusty (most of the time) old station wagon to get the heck outta dodge. I'll admit, i haven't gone back to it since i finished it... but while it lasted (and it lasted me a decent while).... GOOD GOD I WAS ADDICTED TO IT. Cyrus says it very well, it has such nice pacing, when it's peaceful its' realy peaceful, when it's not it's really not, sometimes some anomaly will come mess with your car while you're looting and you'll have to run and save the car and get in and run away, then make emergency repairs... and then peace again, birds sing, or rain falls... but is it really safe?. No, it's really an amazing unique game. I wholeheartly recomend. TLDR (i hate that expression): Good game, very unique but not that much that you won't know what to do. Definelty recomended. One detail, if you pay attention to the clip, you'll see Cyrus physically looking at the shifter to put the car on park or drive. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS. there is no short cut. When all is peaceful? just an inmersive detail. When YOU HAVE TU RUN YESTERDAY? Good god such a simple actions adds so much tension. So much so that there will be moments where an actually important decision will be "can i afford to leave the car un parked with the engine running?"
Even better; it's not stuck in early access! DLCs is for cosmetics, and they still have a clear development roadmap for the game. Best purchase ever.

My only problem is that its not a high fps as the videos ive seen. And i got the ps5 version too.
