I would like to see a video like you describe about what you've learned about paper, paint, pens. This is a beautiful painting! Love the colors and the doodles, as always!
All the very best for your website. Your work is absolutely gorgeous and very inspiring. It is always so much fun to watch your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel, so happy I did. I love your style, and your voice is very soothing. I have subscribed, and can’t wait to check out all your vids. Cheers!
Very nice ❤ The greens are gorgeous! I always enjoy listening to you chatting while watching your painting process. I for one would definitely be interested in hearing your views on different pens and other mediums too 😊
Thank you so much Bettina, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and inspiringly creative piece. I really love ❤❤❤❤❤ all your art work and your videos too. I also look forward to seeing your new content. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I know what you mean about it taking so long. I am in the process of putting some of my work in a gallery but I don't have enough inventory. Also making cards and getting all the supplies I need for that, It's been a bit chaotic! I always enjoy your commentary & would very much like to hear of what you have learned bout supplies.🌸
Love this one, especially the colours. I recently bought a few more (ok, about 14) Daniel Smith paints to add to my existing small number, because they are simply gorgeous paints. I think a video comparing cheap v. quality art supplies would be useful - it's always good to have the opinion of someone who's actually used both tell you of their experiences with them. I look forward to when your shop is up and running - good luck with it - hope it all gets sorted soon.
😆 oh, I hear you! I just love them so much! And thank you for your input! I will definitely make a note of it. I think there is a time where more expensive materials definitely are worth investing in, whereas cheaper ones will do just fine for other times. I'll be sure to include that in the video!
I discovered our videos only a few months ago. Would you consider doing one showing us your supplies? (If you haven't already.) I'd love to see your collection of pens, brushes, pencils, paints and the sizes of papers you use, or anything else you use in your art creation. Have a great week, Bettina!
This turned out beautifully. Undersea Green is one of my favorites too. I’m so glad to hear that you are going to start selling prints. I can’t wait to buy some! 🥰
Wow wow wow another beautiful piece of wonderful art. You are so talented, and i love watching your videos. Thank you. A supplies video would be great please
Bettina, let no one ever tell you that you are not a magician … what you do with a blank piece of white paper is nothing short of magic! Your videos are magical and your work is so inspirational, thank you so much!!
So beautiful! The shades are very harmonious, the gold is elegant, and everything seems very relaxing to me. I enjoy the time with you and always look forward to this creative Friday. Take care and have a nice weekend 🌅
Yes! A video of information about materials would be helpful, especially pens; I've ruined so many pens using them over watercolors. It's getting frustrating (and expensive)!
Don’t feel bad! At 73, I spend half my time wondering what I came into the room for. Question: I recently purchased Schmincke Aqua Bronze. I find after the piece dries that the bronze comes off the paper on my hands. Do you seal your pieces with something to keep this from happening? TIA ❤
Haha, I hear you! And as for the Aqua bronze, I think it depends how much of it is on the paper. I have had it come off in some parts as well, but for the most part, it's fine. I wonder if it has something to do with not mixing it enough. It has a binder in it, so technically it should take care of that. But to be honest, if I rub over just regular watercolor, it can smear too. I don't seal my paintings, because I just scan them, and for the most part they sit in a box 🫣 ... for now. But there are definitely ways to seal your artwork.

@@_bettina_fernandez_ That is the aesthetic I tend to favor at the moment. Hard to achieve because I rarely stop soon enough. 😌
Love this! I just ordered the green.
