- I can't remember who originally uploaded this video, but I'm glad I saved it. This is Trey outside of a gig talking to fans and answering their questions. Fans of Morbid Angel ask Trey Azagthoth questions about music and history of the band.
Trey loves his fans...every time i saw him play he would tear it up, jump off stage at the end, light up a cig and sign autographs and take pictures with everybody that loved his music...coney island high nyc 1998 formulas tour... total destruction with Eric Rutan!!! one of the best death metal shows I've seen...

I’ve seen trey perform live back in 2019 and didn’t feel worthy of being in the same place as him. I’d feel honored to personally meet him and tell him just that.
I love Heretic. That was the first one I ever got. I think like a week later I bought a Gateways long-sleeve cause I was so blown away by that album I felt I belonged in a bad ass Morbid Angel shirt.
It sounds like trey could just talk about music for days at a time. Its really awesome to see the passion he has for it come out when he talks to these everyday metalheads, which from this footage looks like trey is just that, an everyday metalhead... who happens to be a fucking metal god

This is awesome. I surely would love to talk my own music with random fans if it happened, not because of self-importance, but because it's a burning passion.
Very happy to hear him even mention Beneath the Hollow. Sadly the only really good song on that album for me. But what a fkn riff yeah, and that counterpoint lead break.

Trey. If you wanted to introduce Morbid Angel to someone, which three songs would you play first? Do you see these as signature songs or, perhaps what could be called classics? Would these three songs possibly ever be capable of "defining" morbid angel?

If I had a chance to speak to Trey it would of been completely across the board strictly about guitar influence like I hear the influence of merciful fate in the start of morbid canon what happened to that??? cuz the new stuff lost that flavor it seemed to work dam well !maybe he needs to go back to the high might morbid formula, + I was not a fan of merciful fate!! Mind you.

trey azagthoth u better read this= u are a god to many try and tell us more about urself, we are tired of people talking about cannibal corpse and other shit like that which is frankly not death metal. death metal is morbid angel and vice-versa. ma r gods among us, u fucking rule. u inspired the best right now in death metal namely behemoth, vader, cof, cc itself. trey we want more guitar solos. if u stop now death metal will die. death metal is killed if morbid angel ever god forbid disbands.
