Bah, I know, this is already on tube. But maybe YOU haven't seen it, so enjoy. Besides, Trey isn't that much on screen like David. With german subtitles.

That's no DM star, that is a Real Musician. Why do punters here all appreciate this interview? Because Azagthoth educates, he doesn't just boast about.
It's a shame he doesn't do more interviews. Very interesting guy and I'm sure M.A fans would like to hear more about the driving factors that make up the sounds, especially now. Also - the background at 8.13.
Stop pretending to be Trey. I see that you're a nice person, and you're not saying anything negative at all, but what you're doing is still wrong. Just be yourself, and stop misleading people and trying to impersonate Trey.
@@damf5488 My comment was to someone who was using the name "Morbid Angel" and impersonating Trey in some comments back then, but he stopped doing that so it's all fine now. But there's always people pretending to be Trey online, for various reasons

Impossible to kill, they are so tough, they hurt and can carry sickness and give you huge inflammation, they are quiet and hide in your clothes before attacking... Azagthoth righfully ripping into Vincent, Formulas still my favorite MA's album...
Met Trey after one of their live shows a long time ago. Really cool guy, I didn't expect to meet him, I was supposed to interview Dave Vincent that night but he took off on us. So when I met Trey, I apologized for the Nocturnus shirt I was wearing!
You'd be so wrong too. He has played. In fact, I learned this myself, many many years ago. (Perhaps you heard of the game Quake? He was in a deathmatch clan during that area, with me. So, yeah, he plays video games too). Next question?
Damn at 5:39 I'd heard David Vincent was into industrial but this answer from Trey makes some of their weaker, and in Illud sense with said reunion and then immediate break-up again with Vincent, make total sense.
Weird! I saw the show back then, being a 14 years old Death Metal devotee and here my hero wishes to see Jimi Hendrix and when I saw that back then I was disturbed at first, but it opened a whole new dimension to me. Thanks Trey, this fucking Interview changed my life
I saw Mordid Angel during this tour. Incantation and Vader opened. I got to meet both Trey and John McEntee, which was pretty awesome. The show itself was amazing, too.
I've seen them a bunch of times, great live band. Covenant and Domination are my favorites, but Steve is rock solid and Gateways is pretty damned good.
I've heard people over the years say that Trey is gay & so was Chuck Schuldiner, because of their speech, I guess. I'm from California, & folks out here have that same ultra-laid back, "what up dude" surfer guy thang going on that some Floridians do as well, obvi. That doesn't make Trey gay, & even if he were, so fucking what? Dude's amazing, regardless of who he chooses to share his bed with.
Trey isn't gay. But Chuck was either gay or bi. Chuck had a secret relationship with Paul from the technical death metal band Cynic, who is also gay. There is another member of Cynic who is gay.
Deathrashertv in that case chuck is bi, as hes had several girlfriends according to some interviews. Not that his sexuality matters that much as hes one of the creators of dm
Oh they just say it "fatal" as in regular english. I always read it in my mind as "Formulas Fah-tahl to the flesh", like a poetic sort of latin language edge or sth.
Heretic is my fav besides Altars, I think the production isn't the best, but if you look past that Heretic is one of the best albums to me. It is truly underrated.
As a fan it eats away at me how much Trey dislikes the best album they ever made imo. I love Domination more than any album ever. The first 2 songs on Domination I’ll argue are the best back to back songs on any album. If I ever got the chance to meet Trey I’d say to him Trey Why?? Your best guitar work (leads that you didn’t just go ape shit on the whammy bar)is on Domination. I’d tell him thank you for making the best album I’ve ever heard even if you don’t.
There was another interview where he said he liked the music for Domination, and it is great. The only problem is that most David's lyrics were lazily written and also pretty racist. That's why he doesn't play them live. Also he likes the looser sound that FFTTF has for example. I still love that album too. Great groove and solos
@@Spongebob-lf5dn how could a Nordic blonde be in a band with 2 Hispanics be prejudice? No wonder he such an idiot. It makes about as much sense as being an animal rights activist that always dresses in leather

3:32 So that means he wrote most lyrics on Altars of Madness? Because on darklyrics and wikipedia it's said that Vincent the lyrics to most of the songs there.
No it doesnt mean that... Dave wrote lyrics to Immortal Rites, Visions from the Darkside , Damnation , Maze of Torment and Suffocation . Trey wrote lyrics to Evil Spells ,Lord of all fever and plagues , Blasphemy and Bleed for the Devil and lyrics for chapel of ghouls were by Trey and Mike Browning. Check out wikpedia
Josh Pelton I find it weird that Dave wrote the most imaginative lyrics on that album (Immortal Rites, Visions from the Darkside) while Trey wrote the most aggressive ones (Blasphemy, Bleed for the Devil, Chapel of Ghouls), when in person, Dave is the tough and domineering one, while Trey is kinda soft. Weird how that goes, huh?
@@spontandenker illud divinum insanus says otherwise.
