It’s so important to keep an open mind and an open heart to other people’s beliefs and lifestyles. It’s perfectly fine to have strong opinions, but what’s really important is that we don’t let our opinions get in the way of loving people. After all, caring about people is far more than being the same. This world would be such a boring place if everyone thought and looked the same way. It’s good to be different. Everyone shines in their own way. This world needs more kindness. Great video. Very educational.💕

LoL Autism is: learning more from a 20 and three quarter year old stranger in 3 minutes than countless professionals well meaners and detractors could teach in over 40 years.
    Incredible great video well done

Thanks for this! I'm so black and white it is all or nothing with me but I like the idea I can train myself to see the gray a bit more.

Then we are two! And we can work on it, and that will make it easier on ourselves 🥰

Haha loved your singing :) I may have gotten a teensy bit lost trying to follow ADHD brain but I think I get the idea! I know in my church we had a whole time of distinguishing like from love and assessing that, perhaps for different reasons but it helps people to get the concept of there being more than just extremes. I still deal with feeling like someone disliking me = absolutely hating me.

It sounds like you understood it just fine! :)
I wanted to remove adhd brain, but then I remembered that, ofc it would make it easier for you guys watching, but it’s maybe something about that? Like IRL you would’ve been listening to adhd brain for ten minutes!! 😂😂
But I’m on board with what you’re saying! It’s about the extremes, yes! And practicing to not let the extreme take over your jugdement and reason :)

I’m struggling with this now. I’m not diagnosed but I think I am autistic. My black and white thinking can cause a lot of friction in conversation because I am not willing to compromise or see things from another perspective

Well done for appearing on Andy channel you have rocketed with subscriber since 583 subs.
From 80 subs when original mention on Stephanie Bethany.
You was under your original channel name then.
I did say with all the 40 different autistic you tubers I seen and watch I never come across your before until Stephanie mention it.

I was very fun with making a video with Andy! Our community grew with around a 100 people, so that’s very cool and fun! It has also helped a lot with Tiktok, since U now have 4000 followers on tiktok :) If you have that, it’s a lot more autistic creators there!! :)
And Stephanie had meant a lot to me in a lot of ways, she is the reason I’m confident in my own autism. She’s the best friend anyone could have :) And it’s true that her mentioning me also drove some people to my channel! ;)

I'm not entirely sure that black and white thinkibg is necessarily bad, but I can see that it can limit us in some ways if it's all we do. I say this mostly as I am dealing with a severe lack of energy...all the time, and not sure it is worth spending the energy I don't feel I even have to make such a change. Would I be not being myself if I did?

I do enjoy your perspective by the way.

I think we have to priorities what we want to work on with ourselves and use our energy on. I think we are our intent and actions, so for myself I will always try too hard to learn and grow, and that for me also is about black and white thinking, and I think that though seeing life like that is a gift, my life gets easier the more greyzones I see. And for me that is worth it in the long run. BUT you cannot do everything at ones. It’s okay to not try to change anything, because we are who we are, but for me, my life will Get easier if I understand greyzones better, since it will lead to less meltdowns and shutdowns.

True. I just got diagnosed with autism last Wednesday, so I have an incredible amount of analysis and recalibration to do on my life, but so little energy it's excruciating to deal with at this time. I'm 41 years old, so been living, wondering why I couldn't keep things together for a very, very long time. The way you talk is very, very much like how I talk, and it is good to know I'm not the only one.

Congratulations! Getting your diagnosis means opening a new world, and right now, ENJOY THE RELIEVE! Isn’t it incredible that the things you’ve struggle with, that It’s a reason for that? Being autistic is AMAZING and we should never try to change ourselves, but in the long run, maybe we want to evolve and grow, and I din’t think I was ready for that when I got my diagnosis. :) Soooo happy for you!!

    Hi Sara,
I was wondering if you could do a video on managing anger as an autistic person. I have been having trouble with this lately and I could do with some tips.
