Well it did nose dive there a few times......🤔 And you did front flip to try and catch it. Now I'd like to say I know your driving which is up there, and you don't usually make mistakes like that and the speed wasn't maxed exiting the jumps even on the 4s. So I'd say the glitch is there. You'll probably feel it more on 6s. Unfortunate on the last jump I felt that😂😅. Definitely agree with Earl there happy to see you run Arrma again bro. ❤

Don't feel too bad. I bought a brand new traxxas maxx and 2 minutes into the maiden battery pack, the front suspension block hit an old metal pipe hidden in some grass and ripped the whole front suspension out from under the truck including the bulkhead. Sh!t happens lol. We all have those days sometimes.
Haha, yeah, absolutely. This one just stung a bit, that's all. The 6S run went a lot better afterwards. 😁
I literally winced every time you had a bad landing. If I were to buy the Big Rock, I don't think I would want jump it but I thank you for doing so & commend you're bravery.

The glitch seems to show up randomly in the air hard to see on loose dirt and the track onroad you’ll hear the click then the nose diving. Glad to see you running arrma again cool video 👍👌
Thank you. Yeah, I think you're right, it's hard to pick up on it on the ground, but in the air it becomes a lot more obvious. 😎
Love the look of this truck, suspension seems nice and plush . It’s bad manners I the air will hopefully be sorted on 6S , definitely looks nose heavy + possible glitch ? . The nose dropping made me flinch a few times , well done for not loosing it on tape !. .Will wait for next video to see how she performs on 6S . Great video Vas 👍.
Thanks Alan. Yeah, it came off the jump a few times with the nose down, so that's why I went for the front flip instead of trying to recover it. I think a combination of the ESC "glitch" and suspension setup made that happen. Those front flips were not intentional, trust me, there were just saves. 😁

Dam it , nice body. Had a battery die in an rc while the Rottweiler was chasing it. Good bye body, hit bit straight through and started running away with it. Battery always dies at the wrong time. Can't wait to see 6s , its a beast. Nice work Vas.

Oh no! That hurts, wrecking that beautiful body 😢😢 I didn’t feel the esc glitch until I turned the punch up. The reason I turned the punch up was because the truck would randomly go nose down and I couldn’t figure out why. You had several beautiful floaters, and then it would nose down. Get that firmware update ASAP!
I'm just gonna replace the power system, which is what I was gonna do anyway. More to come. 😎💪

I've had more failures with the DX3 and AVX receiver than the SLT3 transmitter.
Interesting. Been using AVC for years and not one issue. As for the SLT3 transmitter, only failures I saw at the hobby shop was the on/off switch breaking.

All those nose dives and crashes were the esc cutting, besides the battery one
that esc glitch has been fixed with a software update, just gotta update to latest software on program card, then update software on esc

I saw KaosRC set the punch to 9 and his seems to behave well.
That body... shame, but at least now you can beat on it lol.

How did that small jump break it.
It must have been a crack or something from those previous bails.
I just took my Outcast which has had years of harsh bad crashes and sent it into a curb on its roof full speed down a concrete sloped parking lot and no damage at all.
But I do say my wheels are half the reason it took it.

I didn't think it would perform so well on 4S. When my two 6S lipos die I'll use the much cheaper 4S ones.
You should bring a small board to lay down on the pit. Like a jump in case you hit that arm breaker…

Yeah, this truck is not happy on 4s. But it's surprising lively on 6s.
Yeah, the 6S run was a lot faster and this truck flew forever. It almost cleared the 3rd jump in the second row. And that's with stock gearing. 😁💪
6s and punch 9 this rc gets into beast mode ... I have run mine 3 times now and i dont feel any glitch
Ya it’s only at a certain point if you just ripping and not looking for it you may not experience it .
Power system is coming out anyway, so this 6S system will find its way into some other project car in the future. 😁
I think arrma should start to send these high dollar rigs with 2 of these highly detailed body/shells (two different colors )that way we can pick one to bash and other to display.
Haha, it will never happen. Team Corally has come close with their XTR cars, they supplied one painted and one clear body, which was absolutely awesome!! And recently MJX supplied their 1/14 scale car with 2 painted bodies, but I doubt any of the big brands will do this with these big cars. That body is $200, so throwing an extra one in the box will not only increase prices, it will also influence the size of the box. Not every car with an extra body will need a bigger box as the vast majority will just fit into each other, but this one has all that plastic/roll cage stuff, so it would make packaging difficult.

Oh Vas that body! Feeling for you bro.. One of the first nose dives looked like you hit the brakes so I'm wondering if that was the glitch rearing its head?? Hey I've never seen you do the mesh gyprock tape and clear liquid nails to strengthen the bodies just wondering mate do you ever do that to your RC car bodies? Love the vids!
Yeah, I have done the plasterers' tape and Shoe Goo trick a few times and I'm probably gonna have to do something here with this truck to salvage what's left of the body. These bodies cost about $200aud, so you can understand why I was a bit mad about it. 😎
@@AussieRCPlayground Hi mate, yeah I heard they're very expensive.. I'm in Oz (Sydney) and know how expensive things, actually everything, has gotten.. Some tape etc will be cheap insurance.. Love your work mate! 👍

Good morning Vas..I’d complan of the price but you guys pay even more . I’m big arrma fan but I end up spending time tunning and running one or two rcs at a time and usually prefer the typhon , I be able to build one of these with minimal parts so doesn’t pay for me , to spend upwards 1000 bucks to have it way I prefer right now.
I had to have this truck (for some reason), but if I was to do it again, I'd probably get the Kraton EXB 6S as that offers better value, IMO. Still love this truck, just wish it wasn't so expensive.
Shit happens to the best of us, always wanting that one last jump and it bits you in the arse 😁
It's happened to me more than once over the years, but this one stung a bit because I just couldn't do anything to correct it. 😔
Hmm, I’m not to sure about this truck after watching this video Vas. The rear wants to step out all the time. It drives really sharp in the nose, too much. And it jumps as it has a solid axle. How to do say that, it donkey kicks? I think they softent the rear for these two reasons.
Also the tires sound like their made from pvc or something.
Definitely it needs to gear up a couple of teeth. Especially on 4S. But that’s sort of standard for an RTR.
I’m quite sure all these things can be tuned out. But this design is not the best. Not like we are used to see from Arrma. I’ll take the Fireteam.

dude, ive done the same thing multiple times when making a video, zero damage and then ill just do one last jump and totally ruin a brand new body, i fill your pain
Haha, thanks. Even though I've been doing this for over a decade, it still stings when you've tried so hard not to damage the truck first time out and then - bang! Argh!! 😩
If that's what you call being pissed, then the world has not even seen the meaning of that when I'm angry. I'd be downright yelling, saying all the words in a forced, loud growl. I'm practically rabid when I'm angry. Apparently I'm not normal. I get that wide eyed, blank stare-look from people if they see even a hint of it.
I was filming and handled my temper on camera as best as I could. Trust me, once the camera was off, a different dialog was used. 😉
@@AussieRCPlayground 😆 Thanks for letting me know. Because I understand anger. I empathize with it. To me, that's MONEY being ripped up. Something I shouldn't have spent on. Me personally that is. Good luck with this one, man. Maybe invest in some stronger towers and stand-offs. For that 7th scale, I'd definitely run a Max 6 or MMX-8s and never go less than 6s.
I can see it’s not free rolling , just do the firmware update , it takes 25 seconds 👌
I swapped out the ESC instead, it's easier and less hassle. Upgrading the firmware on the ESC looks like a chore, I couldn't be bothered. LoL.
I dont know how many sh1tty RTR Spektrum servo's i have, all lying around gathering dust, cant give them away.
Yeah, totally agree, but these seem to be a lot different and so far, this one has performed really well.
