I’m glad that you are one of the few natural curly hair influencers that still does videos providing useful info on caring for naturally curly hair 🙏🏽💜. These are very helpful tips. Oh, and your hair is beautiful as always 😍💕.
Thank you 💜
Your new name is Hair Doctor! 👩🏾⚕️ love your videos and honest truth
This video was so needed every time I straighten my hair or try protective styling my scalp itches like crazy but long as I wear it in my natural state it doesn’t itch 🤷🏾♀️ missed you Mo…
Same!
@@alleishiaalston2738 I go bed with wet hair also I’m invest in me a diffuser.
My hair itches pretty bad when my hair is braided and I have a quickweave or sew in. Mine itches because the moisture from showers and I can’t access my scalp. So most times either your hair needs to be moisturized or washed
@@aprildenice4635 I learned you should not go to bed with wet hair. That can cause yeast on scalp. I learned this somewhere that is why I think I started ACV sometimes.
I stand corrected she said mold so that means mildew.
So much useful knowledge my head is spinning! Your content is what the natural hair community needs. Transparent, honest and easy to understand and incorporate. Thank you, Mo ❤️
I wish I could find a stylist like you ….I’ve never had a stylist be as caring and knowledgeable as you. Thank you 🙏🏽 for doing videos ❤️.
Mo, you are 1 of 1. You will always have my support because you are excellent in everything you do. Thank you for this and every video you do. They are always helpful. The beauty community needs you!
Hard water is FOR REAL an under-rated cause on this list. I moved from St. Louis, MO, with river water to Minnesota that uses mostly well water, and I immediately started having breakage and dry skin. My scalp was so itchy and flaky that I was crying and dousing myself in vitamin e oil. I had to start tripling the amount of shampoo and switch to a more nourishing shampoo and conditioner to solve that problem. But the amount that it will dry out your skin is HUGE. My husband is now looking into getting a water softener for the entire house because my he's watched how quickly my skin and hair dries out from the water.
Always a pleasure watching your videos. You keep blessing us with your wealth of knowledge.
One of the best natural hair video I’ve seen in the past 10 years. Great advice. I say this from experience going through this over the past decade. Scalp issues cab really stunt your growth, so it’s necessary to stay on top of it.
You always keep me from straying too far down the influencer/youtuber said so path. Your videos have helped me treat my scalp better and my itching and flaking has pretty much disappeared. Hopefully hair around my hairline will start coming back now that I'm taking better care of it!
Your tell em like it is no-nonsense approach never disappoints. It's to the point and simply works which is what we need with all the noise.
Girl, where have you been!! I've messed you on here. Wow, this was truly useful. I never knew all these problems occurred in one's hair. Looking beautiful as usual. Thanks for the info.
I deal with 3 circulatory/autoimmune issues and Chile figuring those out helped so much with my dry, itchy scalp and excessive shedding! Thanks mo
Clear, concise and all facts. Great video Mo.
Time for our community to let go looking for magic solutions to simple problems. The research backed + common sense approach is the way.
Cheaper, easier and better results!
Thank you so much!!!! Keep blessing us with your knowledge. You are much needed in the hair care world! Thank you 💜
thank you for this video. years ago my scalp would itch all the time, my hair would not hold moisture & it was falling out. went to a dermatologist found out it was an autoimmune disease called lichen planus of the scalp.
Hey, Mo. I brought your hair clarifying shampoo and hydrating shampoo which works great. You got my hair growing strong with your great advice. Thank you. 😢
💜💜

I sooooooo appreciate you educating us about our hair!! Thank you Mo!! 😀
Thank you for your knowledge, realistic and honest information you helped me w my own curly hair I been here since your trader joe shampoo days. Thank you
Your scalp product is amazing. I have repurchased twice. Amazing scalp treatment.
Thank you Mo for taking the time to educate us. In 2023 I got to take a hair reset and really take care of my hair Thank you for making the process more understandable! God bless!
This came just in time! I'm not sure what situation caused me to have dandruff but I'm making adjustments and being watchful. I'm not sure if it was the braids I had, a new gel I tried, or a new shampoo/conditioner I tried. All of these situations happened when I started to develop dandruff. Before my scalp was HEALTHY...I hadn't had dandruff since I was a child! But we'll see.
Thanks for this factual video. Your expertise are greatly appreciated and you and your hair look beautiful as usual! God bless!
Right on time for winter. I think that’s when most of us don’t use this list in the winter more than anything
Super informative, and you definitely got me all the way together! Thanks Mo!
I'm guilty of applying products to close to scalp and overlapping so I definitely get product buildup. I'm really just learning my hair still getting comfortable with my natural hair was chemically processed for 20 years natural for 4 years so still learning great tips and advice.
So I never started putting oil in my hair until lately and honestly I feel like it does make my hair itch. I also never use to use no. Sulfate shampoos they didn’t exist until I started my natural hair journey. I never had issues with growing my hair or my scalp. But lately i have been experiencing a very itch scalp! I discovered cowashing was not the best thing for my scalp it just made my scalp itchy. I
Over following the natural hair care routine. My routine was simple and I had no issues. Simplicity is best.
Girl, this! Great video. Miss your products though. Can't wait for them to come back.
@moknows, did you read my mind? I've been having scalp issues lately. So, THANK YOU, MA'AM
Absolutely love you Scalp and Curl Clarifier💜
Excellent video and very well detailed. Salute Madame...Blessings to you. 💥💥💥
This is great in so many ways!!! Thank you!!
Thank you! Gosh! I don't have scalp issues but I learned a whole lot! 😊🤭
Love the dark brown hair
I always get suckered into buying these scalp oils and then regret it a couple of days later when my scalp feels super itchy. But it feels so good in the moment -_-
Excellent explanations!!
Thank you so much Mo! Great information!
Need a video on hairline recovery.
Sally’s has been out of the scalp clarifier for a while now. Any idea when it will be restocked?
Pandemic has really stressed the pipeline for materials and making things go slow … will be back in soon!
I haven’t seen your videos in sooo long.
Great advice as always!
Thanks Mo!
Mo I am crushing on your hair it is so gorgeous 🥰
Okay #9 was directed straight at me and honestly you didn’t have to go that hard on me .
Hey Mo 😁 when are we getting back the scalp + curl clarifier? I hope you haven’t discontinued it 🙏🏾
Restocking soon! Supply chain woes of the pandemic.
Thx do much MO. Really Really appreciate the info!
Had a hairstylist go off on me for not using oil. It was weird. Thanks for giving me another reason not to use it.
Thanks Mo!💜💜💜
Thank you Mo for this video 🥰💙💕
Moe, you make sense. Thanks for the advice.
Thanks Queen 👸🏾

Great information
Yesss Mo👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thanks for the hair truth. ❤️u girl
For me, I learned that tea tree oil (while it feels oh so good) is bad for my scalp. My scalp would become so inflamed and as a result would callous itself and I’d get these nasty patches. I didn’t realize it until I ran out of my favorite scalp oil by Design Essentials. After not using it, I found myself not reaching for a comb to scratch. Idk why it wasn’t common sense that my scalp was sensitive to tea tree because I can’t use it on the rest of my body. Also learned that lighter oils like almond and macadamia work great for me and go on the hair shaft and not on my scalp.
Thank you so much!
Thank you! 🙌🏼
“I also encourage you to share this video…”…as I’m very quickly clicking that share button! 😅
💞💕Very Helpful
The left side of my scalp is sore when touched.
So after doing scalp care with a clarifying shampoo, what should you do after your hair is dry? During the week
Very informative video! Question regarding oil, if you don’t have scalp issues should you oil your scalp on a regular basis (like once a week), or not at all. I grew up during the time period when we greased our scalp.
You do not need to do that. Your scalp has a natural sebum secretion process that impacting your follicles with raw oils can disrupt.
🗣get off the internet and go to the doctor. YES 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Same thing goes for going to a any professional. The internet is mostly toxic and wrong. As a chemist it makes me cringe 😬
Hola!.
Me gustaría saber, si hay algún país europeo desde dónde se puedan hacer envío de tus productos?.
Porque el envío desde Estado Unido a España se paga un impuesto muy alto.
Si fuera por favor, facilitarme esa información.
Gracias ☺️
Thank you. Thank you Thank you!!!!!!
What if you are experiencing tenderness to the crown of your scalp and hair thinning.
You need to see a dermatologist or hair loss specialist for an exam and diagnosis 💗
Hi Mo, what are your pros/cons/ recommendations on steaming natural hair?
Watch “Hair Health with Kiss Red Pro Hair Therapy Steamer” on my channel
How long should you stay under the dryer when doing a twistout?
What's a way to cleanse scalp whilst in braids pls?
I had such an itchy scalp last week and I kept wondering why! It had only been five days since wash day...I know exactly why now. I started to prepoo a couple of hours before bed and put on a plastic cap with the intentions of washing 30 minutes later. Got tired and left it on overnight. Was busy that morning and didn’t wash my hair until the next afternoon. Wet hair and scalp is a definite no-no for me. My scalp has been crying!
Are you still offering salon services? If so how do I set up an appointment? I am in desperate need of your professional expertise! I have followed you since your first video and, of course, this current video. I have also used your hair care product line but feel a detailed in depth breakdown analysis is needed by a professional to help me have the best outcome, plus a much needed hair cut. I would appreciate any services you had to offer. 🤗
I don’t take appointments anymore 💜

I'm going to the dermatologist next month so they can scrape my scalp in one area I e been dealing with this for twenty years it started when I put a permanent black dye on my hair and was allergic but it only gets better when it's scraped I don't understand
Thanks for keeping us on point! I have a question. I have recently realized that my hair has a coily texture at the back and nape and i’m more wavy curly towards the top and then coily at the front and perimeter. Do you have any suggestions for how to style a wash n go? Because mine have been looking crazy for a while now. I have shrinkage in the coily areas and length length in the wavy and it’s not heat damage.
You may need to apply different products per section that accommodate the hold and smoothing you need
throwing off the hair PH with raw oils wow, i have so raw oils her at home how can i use them wisely?
Can you use the scalp clarifier if relaxed
Absolutely!
When do u use oil in ur hair ?? Me always use after i finish washing my hair .
At most, maybe Oil sheen, a serum or silk oil as a styling finisher. Never on wet hair.
@@MoKnowsHair ❤❤❤tnx
Okay…so are we supposed to grease our scalps or nah?
Because right now….I’m surprised I’m not bald headed since apparently I’m doing everything wrong 🤣😂
Hey Mo, I’ve been following you for years and I desperately need your help. I was wondering if you offer hair consultations. Long story short I have been going to a natural salon quarterly for nearly 3 years . Yet, I’m not seeing the results when following their regimen to the T. I have many in salon pictures of each visit to hopefully help with your analysis. I’m really frustrated and don’t know where else to turn. I’m spending nearly $200 per visit and lacking the results they promised if following their regimen. Help please!!!!

Is the scalp clarifier good for relaxed hair too?
Yes
❤️
My scalp doesn't produce a lot of sebum, what can I do.
Evaluate your diet for nutrition gaps, drink more water and cut caffeine out, scalp treatment cleanse weekly … sebum is produced based on your body’s health and balance.
@@MoKnowsHair thank you
So what is ok to put on scalp? Have grease, tea tree oil etc?
Shampoo is okay for the scalp

Thank you for the information I really enjoy your videos, because it's a good way to get great information if you can't go to the Hair Salon.❤❤❤❤❤😊
