I like how you said in the beginning about there being no one "true" products that works best for EVERYONE. I cannot stress that enough especially when someone ask me what I use for my hair, I always through that disclaimer out there also.

No pressure…but I’m missing you Mo. Going back to your oldies but goodies on conditioners. Trying to kind a deep conditioner at a lower price point than Aveda to try out to hold me over until your DC re-release (your previous DC was amazing and I just finished my last jar😢). Some of the products in this vid like Agadir and carols daughter Monoi are not being sold. For future vid ideas, I would love an up-updated hair routine on your dc recommendations including which dc’s can be used weekly…it’s so much out there. I like starting with your recommendations first and going from there.

Can we call your talks "Mo-ments"? Lol very informative as always. Can you do a video on how to recognize which chemicals in products are not harmful for our hair? The first thing we think when we see an ingredient with a name we can't pronounce is that its bad for our hair, but that isn't the case.

Yesss!! With these pearls of wisdom!! Thank you so very much for this educated information... learning the difference moisturizing & protein based repair conditioners is exactly what I needed. I never understood why my hair was brittle and hard after using repair conditioners....I thought my hair was damaged because it was dry... all I probably needed was just more moisture!! Gees!! I will definitely pay attention to labels now. Also thanks for the coconut oil side note... it never worked for my hair anyway. This was a gold mine video for me.

All that I can say is....sighing and a respectful bow...thank you!
Most of the natural products most naturals can use just do not work for me. I've found that reading what the product says it does helps me instead of just trying stuff bc everyone else is raging about it. Tresemme does wonders and it's in my budget and I love Aveda products when I want to splurge. Praise the Lord Chicago has an Aveda school. This is good information. Bless you ❤️

This was pretty helpful. I kept ignoring the fact that my d.c. has words that allude to it being a protein treatment rather than strictly moisturizing, and I just don't do enough to need so much protein. I'll definitely get it sorted out soon so thanks for that. :p
Also, it would be cool if this was a start to a series of videos that covered how to choose shampoos, leave-in conditioners (liquids, creams, butters), and styling products (including heat protectants). I know you've touched a bit on all of these in various videos but it might as well be new and all together.

I needed this video bad. I've been taking iron for my low iron levels and my hair has been giving me the blues. I thought my ends were damaged so I cut two inches off and I was still getting no where.
