Simply excellent job, camera-dude! Steady as a rock, panning around a little, just enough to embrace the scope of the event, seeing all the production clearly, seeing the firepots BEHIND the stage even; just a fantastic perspective. Who knew it would be so interesting to see a KISS show from this angle?!?! (And I've never been a fan of those octagons - that design just seems so "Macy's" - but seeing them from this angle (2:25) gives me a new appreciation of their integral part in the modern KISS shows.)
Had a high school buddy that told me...when he was a kid in 3rd grade, in 1978, he had a massive tantrum in front of his parents until they agreed to take him to KISS. They folded and took him. Many years later he got a masters in classical guitar.
You might be 100% correct about that. This show was nothing special. Could have been any of the 200 shows on this tour. Kiss limped to the finale and stole all that money along the way from fans who don't know any better
I just realized that the camera operator who is filming from behind the giant snake on Gene's side is really close to the fireworks at the end of the song... like REALLY close.
I saw them play Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta love' back in 1985. The crowd was bored, Gene looked pissed off, so he started in with that song and the rest of the band joined in.
Nice behind the curtain action. I’ve always wondered when they elevated . Now the question is … when do you think they actually start playing ( The guitars )?
This was very disappointing for me and many many other people. They could have brought Ace and Peter and Bruce all back out on stage and made this a very unforgettable event but they let us down this time.. They have always been amazing and Ive loved them since the beginning but this was like we expected a dynamite show and got a firecracker. But with all that said, KISS will always be the greatest rock and roll show I've ever seen In my entire life, especially back In 1977.. Thank you Kiss for rocking and rolling millions of us over the years.I won't forget y'all. Thanks.
When you quit the band you quit the band. I can't go to a Christmas party this year at a company I quit five years ago nor do I feel like I'm entitled to.
You mean to tell me that the stock footage of them walking from the dressing room to the stage is not real? What next? Are you going to tell me there is no Santa Claus?😆🤣
At this point I don't think anyone is going to the show for Paul's stunning vocals. They're going to be entertained by the final Kiss show. And entertained they were!
so bummed they canceled the Toronto show last minute. I've only seen them 5 times and it's basically been the same show every time, but I still love it...Instead of Avatars, I was betting the farm they bought an island somewhere 5 years and started creating a reality show by finding 4 people to replace them and keep the torch lit!
Remnants of illness, lol!!!! It's the same live first verse pre-recorded rest of the song he's done since the second month of the tour how many years ago?
Same click track set list for the last 4 years. Would have hoped for something a little different for the final show. Would have been cool to be there.
There are a few different songs moved on and off the list throughout the tour. Some shows they played Lick it Up, some they play Tears Are Falling, etc.
World record for keeping the same playlist, in the same order, opening with the same song for 30 years. Identical set from the 1996 reunion until 2023. 😮
Definitely a load of bollocks. Seen them on the Sonic Boom and Monster shows. Both of which was very different from the End tour, also had a different set from the US tours of the same year. Talking out your backside lad.
A bunch of dumb comments by people who don’t know KISS. It was a fantastic show as all KISS shows are. They didn’t need to offer anything new or do anything new. They were KISS and they were great. They were awesome just like they have been for their 50 year history
Being critical doesn't make a comment dumb. I think it's ok to be a fan of a band & still be critical of them when they deserve it. KISS deserves it but that doesn't make me less a fan that someone who looks past all the lies.
@@richardheadly7466 Kiss doesn’t deserve it but go ahead anyway. Kiss has heard all the dumb criticism and they just kept going and just kept being successful.
Prior a Kiss concert when the lights go out and show will begin in about 5 minutes, it always will be Led Zep's " Roxk 'n Roll" or The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" .... let's say it's a kind of signal the show begins
So are they REALLY retiring this time.... Lord knows they need to. They should have retired in 2000 after the"farewell" tour...They have done NOTHING but tarnish their legacy and bilk their fans out of millions of dollars to go see what basically amounts to a Karaoke band that the lead singer Lip-syncs to the songs and when he doesn't it is PAINFULLY obvious that his voice has been shot for years. KISS used to be my favorite band until they pulled that Farewell Tour crap and then it was very clear that they didn't care about their fans because they were charging them HUNDREDS of dollars to go see a sub-par performance "one last time" Fast forward 23 years later and they're still ripping their fans off. You have NO idea how good these guys used to be and even on the Farewell Tour in 2000 they had lost quite a bit but NOW OMG
Just a bunch of whining. They can’t make everyone happy. A very small minority of people were upset. People wanted them to say some emotional goodbye at the last show. They have been doing that the whole tour. They have been thanking all the people that helped them through the fifty years countless times in interviews. They just didn’t stand up on stage and do it. They put on a great show and walked off the stage. They didn’t turn it into a big production about past members but they have always expressed what Ace and Peter meant to the band as well as Eric Carr and Bruce. They didn’t need to stand there and do it. I laughed how Eddie Trunk was mentioned like his opinion added credibility to the video. It didn’t. Eddie has been upset that Kiss moved on quite well without his buddy Ace. He has whined over and over about that. If you are ashamed oh well you will get over it. If you don’t get over it. Oh well that is your problem.
Very disappointing for the so called last show they couldn't recognize anyone that helped get them there. Yes they cardied fhe torch through the 80s trying to be Bon Jobi or Motley Crue, and get they couldnt even mention Eric Carr? No. Thank you to Ace Peter or Bruce? They played 5 somgs from one album that featured Ace and Peter. Very disappointed in KISS. A missed opportunity
It wouldnt surprise me to see some kind of KISS experience/ production land at the new SPHERE in Las Vegas in the near future.
It’s cool to see this perspective. Very well done 👍🏼
Excellent Resolution 👍💯
That crowd looks electric! 😂
Great Job On The Video!!! Very Cool To See Behind The Scenes! 🎸💥🎤
Cool seeing the opening from this angle. KISS put on a great show.
If you're stupid, you still think it is a "great show" - last great shows were in 1975, 1977, 1979, and 1984.
I Was There and have no regrets
how much you paid???
OMG! That was great!! Thanks for sharing. It's cool to see things from a different angle!
thank you Jelle Jansen for putting this up. its just the thing I needed as an antidote to a stressful week.
This is the best footage yet. Great job!
Awesome job with video.....I'm sure it was electrifying to be there ....Enjoy !
Love skybox views.. especially ones where you can see everybody!!!!!
Great video, great band, great song... and no one is going to accuse Paul of lip-synching in this one...
Ummm... No. And it's awful.
Love this perspective. Thank you for posting!
I love this video, I keep watching it over and over...thanks for posting! 👍👌

Great perspective, I like seeing what's happening backstage right before the go on...

The best part of a KISS show is hearing Led Zeppelin playing on the monitors before it starts lol
This is Awesome footage!!
🤟👅🤟
Still alot better than alot of other shows, also at least they still made albums more than once every 15 years unlike other cashin acts
the best is gone...thanks for the rock@roll..love
Absolutely amazing.
Thanks for sharing. 🤘🫀
Very cool. Thanks for sharing :-)
Madison square garden is where I first saw them in 1977!
Me too. 2/18/77
I sat real close to you. Seat was better than I thought it would be.
So great to see what goes on behind the curtain. Thanks for sharing
Just listen to that crowd singing.
💛🤟😎🤙💥💫
I’m still amazed at how many people react to the video of them backstage as if it’s actually live.
Yep are you talking about the one when they are walking to the stage?
@@darktoadone5068
Yeah, the exact same one they’ve been using for five years.
True. The guy in the Dodgers hat gives it away.
They've been playing that same 'intro' for like four years now. They should've just cut it all together.
They are also the same ppl that don't care about the lip syncing
awesome !!!!!!!!!!!! kiss 4 everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Wow great seats...
Nice, job
Thanks this was great!

Грандиозное шоу,видел их на ВТБ арене,в Москве!
What a crazy business rock and roll is! haha

God gave rock and roll to you….put it in the souls of everyone…
I was 14 when I got into Kiss, I'm 62 now. It just seems so tired now, same old same old for decades. How many farewell shows have they done now?
espero conocerlos alguna vez en los Ángeles o en New York y encontrarmelos
You can hear the second the Paul Stanley vocal track kicks in 3:30

I saw them play Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta love' back in 1985. The crowd was bored, Gene looked pissed off, so he started in with that song and the rest of the band joined in.
Probably the best angle as you can't see the bad miming!
Paul's voice is shot here.
Already have plans for Vegas gigs next year folks, remember it was The End Of The Road Touring not playing some gigs now and then.
Nice behind the curtain action. I’ve always wondered when they elevated .
Now the question is … when do you think they actually start playing ( The guitars )?
the next day
At 2:14 before the curtain drops. You can see Gene do the note slide live as well as Paul playing the opening riff. All before the curtain drops.
Right after the "...the hottest band in the world, KISS!", Paul starts with the intro.
Kiss should have done more for the last show someone should have offered more money
HOW YOU DOING
Looking at the stage, the arena;...to think that is where HALF A CENTURY earlier Led Zeppelin recorded their show for TSRTS film.
And 46 years ago, KISS headlined here for the first time - Madison Square Garden, the benchmark to "making it."

Interesting pov but once Paul begins to sing I’m out of here.
Wow..Paul's voice says it was time to retire if nothing else.
Paul sounding very rough there from the get go.. But Hey, after 50 years, it's gonna happen.
At least live vocals
At this point I don't think anyone is going to the show for Paul's stunning vocals. They're going to be entertained by the final Kiss show. And entertained they were!

Not many people show whats going on behind the facade, smoke & mirrors

Yeah, but can they do Brown Eyed Girl?
The “ pit “ in the front sucks . I had 4th at my show and it was really like 15th row because you’re so far back and I paid a fortune
Great POV. Haven't seen this one before. Unfortunately, Paul sounds horrible - remnants of his illness, no doubt. Hope y'all had fun.
Remnants of illness, lol!!!! It's the same live first verse pre-recorded rest of the song he's done since the second month of the tour how many years ago?
No, remnants of him not being able to sing for more than a decade
@markgrant1302 its amazing that his recordings have voice issues in different places every show.

Same studio-recorded backing tracks for 5 years. He's sounded like this for a decade.
FAKE VOCALS begin at 4:30.
@@markgrant1302 so you're saying he's lip syncing to a pre-recorded track and just for good measure they made the track sound like shit?

Always the same as the other 250 EOTR Concerts
Very poor
Waste
No good new Highlights at the End
