Saw them play “twice” in one night at the Beacon Theater in NYC way back in 1975. Almost went deaf at the first show. My friend and I scalped a couple more tickets for the second show. I was young, stupid and enjoyed every second of it. 🤘
Never thought this day would come. KISS has always been a force in my life. Always looking forward to every new album and every tour. Thank you for all the years. More than you know.

Great video! I'm glad I had the opportunity to see several KISS shows over the years. Peter is the reason I play drums. I rock a few KISS covers on my channel.
I was at their first MSG show in 1977 and was was thrilled to be at this next to last show. Thanks for a great 50 years. Your music will live forever. Kiss rules!
First off, thanks for posting this. Great video, and capturing musical history for the ages, for better or worse. Second, this video illustrates how to many long-time KISS aficionados like myself, the band seems to have lost sight of why we loved them. Yes, it was about bombast back in the day. But it was also about four reasonably-skilled musicians and highly-effective songwriters blowing our heads off with the perfect combination of live music and a breathtaking show. It was far from perfect, but that was part of the appeal. I think what we’re seeing here is a harbinger of what’s to come. This time next year Gene and Paul will do a press conference on an aircraft carrier announcing that Tommy, Eric, and two new members will lip synch their way through KISS hits for time immemorial. Maybe Gene will get his theme park after all. “Not with a bang, but with a whimper,” as the saying goes. Thanks again for posting.
Thank You for posting this insightful analysis. I agree that Kiss has been on a slowing repeat mode a while now, but on the other hand aren’t we all? I still enjoyed this show and I will cherish it as a dear memory. But a lip synced show without Gene&Paul woul not be my cup of tea.. 😉
@@MetalliOnFinland Amen. I’m 56 and I’m like a hamster on a wheel. I’d much rather be a hamster performing for 20,000 screaming fans than languishing in a cubicle, so despite my misgivings about their current state, I admire and respect what they’ve done.

Thank You for sharing. Kiss was my first concert back in 1977. Will be interesting to see what's next for the Kiss reincarnation that Gene has hinted of. Cheers.
Thanks for enjoying and commenting this video. To me this is the end of Kiss. But if there are enough paying audience why not continue forever.. Show must go on!
When their first "Alive" 2 album set came out there was still "albums", "8 tracks" and "cassettes " no such things as "cds and dvds" yet. I remember reading somewhere that some tracks on that album wasn't actually "live" but rather recorded in studio and just the audience dubbed in to make it sound live. Regardless, KISS is still one of my favorite rock bands.
All you people are not fans. You are all talking shit. You should realize what you are watching.. history ending of rock and roll icons. Legendary for 50 years. Without kiss setting the bar for putting on a show. Nobody can even come close no matter how hard other bands try to emulate such a show. Legendary production and theatrics.
I agree 100 percent. If people can't say anything nice they need to shut up. These guys are 70 plus yrs old. They been rocking 50 yrs. Simmons in his costume carrying that weight. Heck I am 64 and I can't lift 30 lbs.
what time did the show start today? i’d like to watch the stream tomorrow night and i was wondering if the show actually starts at 8 or if that’s the time for the opener?
It's sold out both nights. Thought there would be something different for the hometown crowd, but (yawn) no! Since Paul is using a backing track, they could really play anything. Mix it up a little. Almost fell asleep!😴

Back in the 80"s I used to think Kiss was all that. Gene with the "blood" was something I'd never seen done before. Now watching them it's all so fake and rehearsed and no excitement to their performances. Of course they're much older now but so are a lot of bands touring now. They've losr that magic touch they had when Ace and Peter were there. Personally i gave up on Kiss when Gene and Paul ran their mouths constantly dogging Ace. He was a huge part of Kiss. Gene and Paul are two of the most narcissistic people in music. I've lost total respect for them. It's time to hang it up for real.
Im not even a huge kiss fan. Just casual. But here you are, still watching. So clearly you haven’t given up. Have to at least give them credit to entertain the fans that still show up and care.
Simmons described lip-syncing as dishonest. "I don't care what your music is, have some integrity, be real, or full disclosure before the fact," he said. "Hold up a sign that says, '70 percent of what you hear is fake. It's a tape. I'm a karaoke singer.'" - Gene Simmons, hypocrite.
