Perfect. For the last five days I have been meditating near the spot where Buddha's foster mother attained Parinirvana. What better place. Imagine it. All the greats sat around where I sat looking on and helping Prajapati Gautami attaining Parinirvana. The spot is lovely and serene on the banks of the Ganges. Wow. The Buddha watched on, Sariputra and Mogallana watched on, Kassapa, Bhaddaji and the other disciples watched on, Visakha and Amrapali watched on, Theri Uppalavana watched on and helped Prajapati Gautami to have her last bath. The five hundred nuns were sitting around meditating. It took time. I was on that spot imagining that scene through my monkey mind as I tried to meditate. Namo Buddhay. Namaste. Show less
The Samudaya still exits within us until we reach to the state of Arahant who has only 1 life before reaching to Nirvana. I admire that the video creators' team has so much deep understanding of Buddha's teachings. Thank you so much for spreading Buddha's wisdom and Teachings🙏🙏🙏. However, ones must put it into Practice, meaning to stay being mindful and meditating. In another words, we must watch our mind all the time not to clinch to the Samudaya which is the root cause of all human beings' sufferings. In order to cut out all these Samudaya, the most effective way is to become a true monk practicing solitude and try to attain enlightenment in this life. But again, as we, human beings are so obsessed with our current life, not everyone wants to become a monk (including me), at the same time we want to Escape from Sufferings we have now or will have in the future.
Thank you for your thoughtful reflection and kind words about the video. It’s clear that you have a profound understanding of the Second Noble Truth-Samudaya, the origin of suffering, and the path to its cessation. Your emphasis on practice, particularly mindfulness and meditation, is crucial and resonates deeply with the essence of Buddhist teachings. Indeed, being vigilant about our mind’s tendencies to cling to desires and aversions is key to mitigating suffering. Your point about the monastic life as a direct path to enlightenment highlights an important aspect of Buddhist practice. While not everyone is called to be a monk, as you’ve noted, each individual can still incorporate aspects of these teachings into their daily lives to alleviate suffering and grow spiritually. It’s wonderful to hear your commitment to both understanding and applying these teachings. If you have any experiences or additional insights from your practice that you’d like to share, or if you’re seeking further discussion on how to balance these teachings with lay life, I’d love to continue this conversation. Let’s keep supporting each other on this path to deeper understanding and eventual liberation.

At 9:46 you explain vibhava-tanha as a desire to live forever after death. I would like to know where or from whom you got this teaching. I also came to understand the meaning in the same way. The pali prefix 'vi' is incorrectly translated as 'non'. Its correct translation is 'complete' or 'final', which results in this case as ' complete existence' or 'final existence '. Could you please let me know where or from whom you got this teaching? I would be very interested to talk to them as I feel this is one of the most important ideas to understand in order to really understand the Buddha's teachings.
Attachment to non-corporeal existence, existing in a spiritual realm with complete bliss, joy of the Dharma, and absolute happiness. This is the ideal state of all religions and the goal of a long, arduous journey of practice. For Brahmanism, liberation is achieved when the individual soul, known as the Atman, merges with the Supreme Soul, or Brahman. For religions founded on the Old Testament, this state is when the soul exists in heavenly paradise or the Kingdom of God. In Gnostic beliefs, the soul is completely free and unbounded by the physical body. In Buddhism, many individuals and sects understand Nirvana without Remainder as absolute happiness, complete bliss, and perfect joy of the Dharma, a state called True Self, either as Eternal Bliss of Self or Eternal Bliss of Non-self, Nirvana is True Emptiness and Wonderful Existence… Therefore, when an Arhat enters Nirvana without Remainder, it is understood that their pure consciousness has merged into Nirvana. Such understandings of Nirvana encompass an existence without a physical body, aiming to enjoy the absolute happiness of Nirvana. However, Buddhism denies the existence of an eternal soul or consciousness, thus while recognizing a non-corporeal existence, what exactly exists in Nirvana is avoided by the concept of “inconceivable” or while being True Emptiness yet Wonderful Existence. Such ignorant understandings arise from the attachment to a non-corporeal existence, hence the entry into extinction of an Arhat is not accepted, like oil extinguishing a lamp, no longer going anywhere, not existing anywhere, in any form, like sleeping a dreamless sleep forever. Ignorant knowledge due to attachment to existence never accepts that AN ARHAT’S DEATH IS THE END, arguing instead that enduring such hard practice through countless eons only to end in death makes practice pointless. Only those who have attained the Wisdom of Enlightenment, the Four Noble Truths, having truly perceived that EXISTENCE IS SUFFERING, having eradicated DESIRE, FORM, and FORMLESS DESIRE, can calmly accept practicing to eventually achieve THE END IS DEATH, no more rebirth, no more existence with or without a physical body. While FORM DESIRE might dominate human life more strongly than FORMLESS DESIRE, the latter still exerts a stronger influence than FORM DESIRE. Extreme followers of Islam delight in the soul existing in heavenly paradise if martyred, thus are ready to embrace death without fear. Ancient and current Indian ascetics, due to their attachment to the Great Soul, or Brahman, manage to suppress DESIRE and FORM DESIRE, not aiming for worldly happiness or life. Non-Form Desire remains an attachment to existence so upon death, the consciousness arises, strongly aspiring to EXIST in that blissful spiritual world, hence giving rise to Rebirth Consciousness, a kind of Rebirth. This Rebirth may exist for a very long time and still suffer all the torments of a Rebirth, and when the karma is exhausted, it enters Womb or Egg Birth, reverting to this life with the suffering of Birth, Old Age, Sickness, and Death. The Sutra on Basic Dharma states clearly, the layperson does not understand Nirvana properly, thus desires the bliss of Nirvana, and this is the Basis of Suffering. Meaning the layperson misunderstands Nirvana as eternal blissful self-purity, Nirvana as absolute happiness, thus desires, seeks the absolute happiness of Nirvana called Desire for the Bliss of Nirvana. Ending NON-FORM DESIRE is ENDING SUFFERING. The path to ending Non-Form Desire, ending Suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path. The main component capable of ending Non-Form Desire is Right View. Right View or Wisdom is achieved through Learning, Thinking, and Practicing. When Wisdom at the third level, through Practice, is complete, RIGHT WISDOM arises, the one knows: Birth has ended, the holy life has been lived, what had to be done has been done, there is no more returning to this state. RIGHT WISDOM arises and it also ends NON-FORM DESIRE, and this is also the moment when the fruit of Arhatship is achieved.
In the Sutra of the Turning of the Dharma Wheel, the Buddha taught that the cause of suffering is Craving: seeking happiness here and there such as Sensual Craving, Form Craving, and Formless Craving. To end suffering, one must eradicate these three types of craving, specifically Sensual Craving, Form Craving, and Formless Craving. And to eradicate these three cravings, one must truly understand or become enlightened about them. However, it must first be affirmed that craving is the craving for happiness. Therefore, ENDING SUFFERING is about ending the CRAVING FOR HAPPINESS, not ending HAPPINESS itself.
Im new to Buddhism but having a hard time respecting a man that abandoned his very young child and wife. He just walked out on both of them to do something he wanted to do. This is such a selfish act. How can anyone overlook this? Or get past it? I've been finding some good things in Buddhism but can't get out of my head the type of person that would do that to their own family.
Be free of judgement.. Buddha's son is Buddha, it's you, me, it's everyone just dressed in a different form and conditioned to a certain type of personality. You are attached to "his" and "family". We are all one in this non-dualistic reality... Your dissatisfaction is linked to an attachment to an idea/belief of family which is reasonable. But with further inspection of Buddhism you will dissolve ignorance and with it, suffering..

. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.
I think there's one child who house herself with me. She is the one who always followed my daughter. She didn't do well in her studies. I did volunterred in a certain activity in the school. With the help of the "teacher". I have seen her haging out. Not actually studying but having a puggy backride. Its hard to get.rid.of her. My daughter doesn't spend time here. She doesn't have to. But this child doesn't know how to suceed in studies. She will come (i think) . Because she is also the person more like Maria. She didn't study enough. She didn't work hard. I think now she is trying to house her self here. She doesn't have a responsible adult. Her mom was mostly trying to impress others by showing how very wealthy she was. I don't think she saved for her child's education. She.just wanted to have an affluant lufe partner. A savior. It's hard to get rid of her. My daughter is responsible enough to know what to do. This child is air. A.form of air. Born in October. She.is a libra. Also is studying in the MVCC. Her job i believe is to make me look bad. And also find a.place to live. An apartment. Its not clear who she.is.working for. Or either she wants to have access to the very little i have. I have released everyone..Except this one.followed this person every single day. She tries to understand meditating in every explicit form. Certain things she says are contradictory of what my daughter or i beleive. I know how to attach and train. The detachment is kind of difficult. Because she was my daughter's best friend she.kniws much. My daughter us born in May. She cannot be a libra. She is the true living and compassionate one..She doesn't come here. This child has been in my soul enough. The detachment i am trying to do. Because her birthday falls too close to my birthday the detachment is hard. I guess its time i forcus on my self welveing. And stop thinking too much about orhers. I care. But it has come to a point that my family is suffering in the expense of bringing compassion to others. Both my daughter and my ex-husband suffred from peer preassure being trusting the wrong people. The toxic friends. This gilrs intentions are not clear. Bur she being air and trying to come here is a problem. I have been contacted by my family. And my daughter seems to be okay. And teying to bulid up her college life. She is responsible and has always been. Nor me, my daughter or my husband has any political affiliations. What we did is volunteering for the senior high as a service. Because we were unable to serve in the teacher's parent's board. I have so much going on. And have suffred. I or my husband have no intention if adopting any children. We want to take care.of our only daughter and try to make her a responsible adult. I don't live.on.any social welfare or other wealth or anyform.of illicit wealth. I live on my ex-husband's settlement after our sepwration. Which is not.mych. .At this.point I understand the.resentment towards me. Because of my brown skin. I hope this child undestands that my place is not a home away from home. I know.linger see her boyfriend tagging along with her. Obviously he had given up on her. ( I hope someone sees this). The "teacher"
More of a philosophy. Siddhartha said no man above another. Meaning you don't worship a God or any man above any other. Although there are Buddhist scriptures, the buddha, advocated exploration and evidence for belief. In Stark contrast, religious institutions demand dogmatic faith based on their scripture without evidence.
So far, it seems as if everything ever created within the universe has only ever been made up of 50% positive + 50% negative - energy in order to create 100% energy, therefore the universe law will always have the ability to correct itself as soon as either side of energy becomes too far out of balance…💦🔥

Bhuthem only teaching for world countries
Just more religion
More of a philosophy.
Siddhartha said no man above another.
Meaning you don't worship a God or any man above any other.
Although there are Buddhist scriptures, the buddha, advocated exploration and evidence for belief.
In Stark contrast, religious institutions demand dogmatic faith based on their scripture without evidence.

Teravadha pali suttha
So far, it seems as if everything ever created within the universe has only ever been made up of 50% positive + 50% negative - energy in order to create 100% energy, therefore the universe law will always have the ability to correct itself as soon as either side of energy becomes too far out of balance…💦🔥
I lose you
There is no suffering only the illusion that there is.
Annoying background music
Ohh my advice is.. u just ignore the music and focusing ur minds on the voice....🙏
@@suchetsamartkist3387 it is way too loud. I found another sight has the same teachings with much much better presentation and light background music.

I didn’t even notice the music. I was too busy learning 🤷♂️
Please lower the volume of music a little down. It's beautiful, but lots of to take it in and understand. Thank you.
