    Modern research on Near Death Experience by Raymond moody, reincarnation memories by Ian Stevenson/Jim trucker and past lives regression by Brian Weiss all independently but coincidentally show that our consciousness survive death, we live many lives and our thoughts and actions matter in the hereafter.
    So be kind and helpful to others, be virtuous, meditate and cultivate ourselves to higher spiritual levels. Cheers.

    Karma is a natural thing is all around us. Whenever you intend to think, speak or act, karma happened. Karma will cause you for good and bad. If you do good, you’ll get good, if bad, you’ll get bad, karma will cause you immediately or when the time passed in this life or next life. No one in this universe or even the ones who are in heaven, evils or something that you call God can’t give you karma, karma will cause you by itself for what you’ve thought, spoken and acted even no one knows but karma 100% does.

    Thoughts become karma. Positive thoughts or negative thoughts. But the problem is this both toughts are making your samsara. Buddha tought you see this duality allways. allways you do this one mindfullness. tha's it meditation. meditation of vidarshana. this is duality world. everything is duality. have and have not.🙏

      Causes and consequences, it´s logic itself. So for full Buddhahood it´s necessary to transcend even logic. That´s why it´s sooo elusive...

    If karma isn't a collection of so called "brownie points" then why would a person be subjected to negative karma in the next or another lifetime?
    Matter of fact....why is there karma when the goal is to get off the rebirth cycle and be liberated?
    Karma sounds like a layer of control. Not everyone will be able to achieve enlightenment and only a certain chosen one will be.
    Things to reflect on.

    • @BuddhasWizdom
      @BuddhasWizdom  7 місяців тому +3

      Thank you for your thoughtful questions about karma. They touch on some of the fundamental aspects of Buddhist philosophy, and I'm glad to help clarify these concepts.
      In Buddhism, karma isn't about earning "brownie points." Rather, it's a principle that describes how intentional actions (good or bad) have consequences. These actions shape future experiences, influencing one's circumstances in future lifetimes. The idea is that nothing we experience is random; it's all influenced by previous actions.
      Regarding your question about why there's karma when the ultimate goal is liberation from the cycle of rebirth: Karma is essentially the mechanism that keeps the cycle of rebirth, or Samsara, in motion. It's not an external system of control, but a natural law of cause and effect. The Buddhist path involves understanding this law deeply and learning to act in ways that lead to positive outcomes and ultimately to the cessation of karma itself-meaning actions no longer arise from ignorance and craving.
      The notion that enlightenment is only for the chosen few is a common misconception. In Buddhism, enlightenment is potentially attainable by anyone who diligently practices the path. The teachings are available to all, but like mastering any skill, achieving enlightenment depends on effort, practice, and the right conditions.
      Reflecting on these teachings can indeed be profound. Karma encourages responsibility for one’s actions and mindfulness about how we live our lives, which is empowering rather than controlling. It's about gaining the wisdom and compassion needed to navigate life skillfully and ultimately find liberation.
      I hope this provides some clarity on your questions. If you have more thoughts or need further details, feel free to continue the conversation.
      Peter
