1.Exofialate everyday - overuse of physical and chemical exfoliators can damage the skin barrier. Instead 2-3/week
2. If you have oily skin you do not need a moisturizer - use a lightweight or oil free moisturizer
3. Use plenty of skin care products if you want beautiful skin - less is more. Applying many products can result in applying plenty of overlapping ingredients
4. The more you wash your face the better - overwashing can increase sebum production and damaging skin barrier. Instead twice a day.
5. You can get rid of your pores - use a retinoid to reduce appearance

Naruko Tea Tree Blemish Cleanser is great, it gently cleanses the skin with amino acid factors. Also contains some amount of salicylic acid to clear sebum while not being overly drying.
i has oily skin and i'm using neutrogena oil-free moisture for combination skin
I had acne prone and oily skin type and i had tried variety of moisturizer from different brands. My fav on top of all is somebymi aha bha pha real cica moisturizer. This moisturizer absorb well into my skin and its have cooling effect. The price super affordable which is around RM30+ for 300ml.

I wash my face with cold water in the morning and with soap at night. I exfoliate whenever I think of it which might be twice a year, and when I do I use olive oil mixed with fine salt or sugar. I use moisturiser once in the blue moon. I do use sunscreen. I’m nearly 60 and believe it or not I have good skin. 😁
I have an oily acne prone skin so I have suffered from my face and I used multiple products to get rid of my acne and I used to believe that I have to dehydrate my skin to get less acne which damaged my skin and I still get pimples, now I use sebamed clear face soap and I loved it in one month my face got cleared and I felt my face being smooth again and I use peach gel for my face because it was very damaged so I didn’t want to use any kind of moisturizer that might irritate my skin so I sticked to the safest option but I will change it once I find a good moisturizer for oily skin because these are hard to find unfortunately + I advise you to use pharmaceutical skin care products not commercial once and you’ll feel the difference very soon
For clarification (I used differin gel and benzoyl hydroxide for 3 months to treat my acne *8 years ago* it worked like miracle all of my acne has been cleared) but I have some pimples that comes up from time to time which is very annoying (they’re painful as well as ugly) so I used multiple products some worked and some didn’t work,
I have combo-oily skin and use Cerave’s PM moisturizer. 😊

I have combination/oily skin and I use Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream. I wash my face at night before bed and in the morning use micellar in the morning with moisturizer and spf.

I've noticed since I started using Flaxseed oil in place of a moisturizer it has really helped my oily skin. It feels balanced now.

it's so hard to find the suitable moisturiser for my oily skin. I haven't satisfied with any moisturiser yet. And the great one i used before it pricey XD

I have combi to oily skin.. i tried some by mi yuja niacin gel cream moisturizer.. it's moisturizing n not sticky at all!.. i think u could try any gel based moisturizer

Another skincare myth I heard from most, if not all of the facial salons and pharmacies I went to - scrub and mask twice a week to remove blackheads on my nose. Did that for the past 20 years but nothing works.
I have an oily skin and I still use moisturizer. There's this moisturizer called Elana Moisturizer which is a light weight moisturizer and it also has a niacinamide which controls my sebum production.
If I don't use this moisturizer it can really be visible in my face that I have an oily skin :v...
@skynfix is SA wash safe for everyday use in the morning? I am oily and acne prone skin.

I have some questions. I know I should wash my face less frequent, but I have oily skin that will become greasy about 2 hours after I washed my face. So I use face cleanser to wash twice a day, but use tap water to wash my face when it is greasy, is it ok? Or is there any way to make my face don't get oily easily?
(I am using cerave foam cleanser and only apply iunik centella moisturizer after cleansing)

i struggled with same problem, i used bioderma sebium gel moussanti and bioderma sebium hydra. for quite some time it would get greasy immediately, but then it started getting tight and dehydrated, i know toner isnt an essential part of your skincare routine, but try applying it, it really helped me have less greasy skin and i practically cured all my acne (i still have few scars, but i think ill get rid of them soon as well)

I saw 1 video from a tiktoker told that don’t wash your face in the morning. Is that applicable for us in Malaysia?
Dont trust those tik toker, even when you sleeping, your face still extracts - or said push "filthy things" out of your skin. If not wash your face in the morning, those thing will stick to your face with your morning face routine => bad * good = bad. Should use light, easy cleanser in the morning.

Yes you can use retinol everyday, but if you're beginner, please start with low percentage. You can refer to this video on how to use retinol.
