That's beautiful. Where's the reversing light?
Thanks! The reverse light is located on the trunk. 1:27 the smaller part on the right
You should do the headlights next 🔥🔥, love the vid.
Already did them a long time ago. Also there is an updated design for the tail lights.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOPthank you for telling me 🙏 this is the best video I could find so I can do it my self.
Question, why do you need red halos, isn’t the halos suppose to be white?
@@grubhubgrandpa9323 White light is blocked by the red tail light cover therefore brightness will be much lower than it should be. So you need red halos. I recommend Diode Dynamics or Morimoto if you want quality halos.
I need them cleared 😩
🔥🔥 got me bout to order all of this 🥴
Just make sure you get red halos and also you can buy pre-cut plexiglass circles.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOP what size are the plexiglass circles?
Were can I order the pre cut plexiglass circles? And if I use a clear lens will my turn signal still be red? Smh thanks lemmy know thanks a million
I seen others have to dremel off the red lens. Is that how you removed yours?
Yes, you can't take it off otherwise.
@Banana I glued it with Polyurethane Glue/Sealant.
You should install diode dynamics brake lights as turn signals so both halos flash when turn signal is engaged.
So, it doesnt require the halos with the 3 wires with the yellow wire? I found red halos but they only have a red and black wire
3 wires mean it's switchback with a turn signal which you don't need. You need red light halos if you want the brightness to be the best.
Is that a custom trunk wing or what I cannot find that trunk anywhere
Yes it's custom, just a spoiler molded to the trunk.
What size and color halos are those
90 and 110 mm. They were white, but you need Red because the tail light cover blocks a lot of the light if it's not red, which I didn't know at the time. I'm remaking them with another design so expect an updated video soon.
Thank you
Hey man, which halos are these?
Just some cheap Cotton LED Angel Eyes from Aliexpress/Ebay.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOP have a link by any chance. Are they red or just white halos? How did you get them to be different brightness for braking.
@@moktarmalik1174 You need red if you want them to be brighter because if they are white the red taillight cover blocks a lot of the light. Mine are white because I didn't know that at the time. You connect them to the factory board, which regulates the brightness like the oem diodes.
I would recommend these halos if you want them to last longer and look better: www.diodedynamics.com/hd-led-red-halo-rings-pair.html
@Banana 90 and 110
Just a quick question after you hooked up the light to the circuit board did u have to cut any other wires ?
You just cut the wire on the connectors for the OEM diodes and then connect the Halos to that wire.
So the drivers that come with the halos aren’t necessary? No problems with hyperflash or anything wiring it this way? Seems more simple and straight forward. Great job btw.
@@wrkls_ No, you don't need the halo drivers, just connect them to the OEM circuit board. The hyperflashing is only occurs in turn signals if you don't have a resistor on the LED bulb.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOPoh ok, so I need a bulb with a resistor for the turn signal?

Are the halos off Amazon? I have a 2015 q40. Would I have to wire it to the circuit boards as well? Or is it only for the g35
No, they are bought locally. You can buy them anywhere as long as they are Red color. I recommend Diode Dynamics or Morimoto. You can connect them directly to the factory circuit board.
Thanks. Say I don’t get them off diode or morimoto and it’s just the black and red wire. Would it be connected to the circuit board or would I connect it to the wires in the car?
@@irv7605 Always connect them to the factory board since that how the dual light for tail lights and brake is controlled. I believe diode dynamics has their own controller for that function so you don't need the OEM board for them. More than 2 wires means the Halos have a turn signal function too which you don't need.
can you show exactly how you wired into the stock circuit board
You just cut the wires for the original LED's and connect the halo rings to them, it's pretty simple. There are 3 connectors, 2 for the circles and 1 for the side LED marker. 1:10
What years of g35 sedan will this work on?
2007-2008 and 2008-2014 G37
Where can I get these supplies in order to do this?
And what size were the honeycomb cut outs? If you don’t mind me asking.
They were cut by hand with a template so I didn't measure them. You can order precut ones from Aliexpress, Ebay, etc.
How’s the black polyurethane glue held up?
What about double halos ? What sizes ?
What do you mean double halos?
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOP can you made with double halos ? 4 per housing
@@bandidomxgarage7898 It's possible but I don't think it will look good.
What size are the honey comb circles?
I can't remember since I did them myself and didn't measure them, but I think they are 70 and 90mm. Better open them up, measure them and buy pre-cut ones.
Okay thanks
@@CJayG37 you every find out the size of the honey combs?
