Hey everyone, With everyone's clear online, I was able to take a little bit from everyone (thanks all) to manage this team composition and this clear. More than 1000 brands used, materia farming, die and retry just to win on a fight were I get no Divebombs on Sephiroth while training (supposed to get Edged Wings OB10 tonight) Good luck to all that can clear this with their account. Notes: Not enough guild coins to get pdef all allies OB7 Aerith 62 HP weapon can be another one (butterfly edge for instance, but if you play kamura you will have enough hp) Red could have more hp from brands and push his mdef up weapon OB8 - 120 for 15 mdef instead Red Matk all allies weapon slot can be a OB0 Zack one if you want You can probably skip a matk all allies weapon with OB10 Edged wings (if you dont have Tifa weapon for instance, you can use Matt Espee Rapier or something like that) My sephiroth could not tank single target dive bombs The run was not smooth because it was simply my first try after going past Divebomb1, I made the most of the run where Sephi was not targetted!
Came for the content but stayed for the Donkey Kong Country bangers, I think you getting the kills during aquatic ambience just felt right 😆 congrats on the clear!

@@TeamSteelSky And it was my first run past divebomb1 everything was """blind"" (still knew the fight from vidéos and stuff) Such an important thing to be able to make the most of it when the game gave me a chance by not targetting Sephiroth!
It's such a account / stat check it's crazy but it's doable with accessible gear if we invest enough in brands / materia to do so... I hope you will get your clear soon! Red can be replaced by Centipede matt and you have to do 10 sigil with materia and tank the 13 sigil bahamut move for information!
Awesome job! I might be able to copy it. My Tifa bahamut gloves are ob6 but ob10 edged wings so it might even out. Just gotta blow through brands getting mdef/pdef higher and better materia. Thanks for all your hard work!!
@@_Omega_Weapon Exactly I feel like Tifa weapon is fine at whatever ob because we have 53 matk ability pot we can't use anyway also espee rapier from Matt Can be good choice to help with the extra damage of ob10 no enrage timer so as long as the 15 mins are respected you are fine! and thank you
@Janille_ Yeah just trying to get my teams pdef and mdef comparable to yours. Right now I'm under by like 30 except on Seph x/. Guess I'll keep speed crafting materia and branding. Also, I forgot if you used Red's uw skill in the fight. Y/N?
@@_Omega_Weapon I did use it yeah to heal during my failed Ifrit bar2 However, the weapon is still usefull to have enough pdef on him to tank divebombs with my setup
The extra shiva summon - I was worried and hold mine this might push me over the edge for damage to kill with some practice your seph is hitting about as hard as my dps character. I’m gonna study your vod and if I succeed I’ll come back and hug you
For this one it's quite safe (old game), and my goal is just to have something new each time for people to maybe discover, if one day I have issues, I will simply use the sound of the game but it will be more boring especially since I add no value than the gameplay with commentary
@@Janille_lol I would be careful especially with Nintendo , they are known to go after their supporters for the most petty of things . I don’t seek to monetize my posts , and I don’t think it’s an issue until you try to get monetization . So far they allow the use of in game music with no issue, but who knows when they will start going after even us who don’t care for monetization
and this is why bio is not commonly allowed on bosses :) i mentioned in my post also that it's just the same ifrit bahamut fight . the only thing that threw me off was the absurd dmg they did . once you find the proper amount of dps vs defense it is just a matter of timing your presses the biggest hurdle for my f2p team is actually tower 22 atm , i feel like the ones above it are slightly easier . if i didn't skip the entire month of free pulls it might be doable 😥
Yeah but it can be really hard to reach these values without Kamura OB8+ or Cloud Glavenous sword etc.. I had to invest more than 1000 brands to just have a setup (and could not win when sephi is targetted). + Invest my 4th ultimate on Red to tank divebombs on him too B22 is really unbalanced and meant for Vincent only, it's kinda stupid. The 3rd hardest for sure after B29 & B30
@@Janille_ u don’t really need Kamura if you are running magic team . I’ve noticed Bahamut targets the lowest current HP target almost consistently . However , when I was running Vincent and aerith only, it was targeting aerith instead when they were both full hp. So maybe in that scenario, it targets the highest max HP value instead of lowest current HP
@@no_remors3 Yeah but F2P players don't have enough gear to clear with non elemental either and often they did not invest a lot to learn fight mechanics so it's hard to manage B22 for them Like you magical tifa clear for B29 is just insane to me in term of optimisation and stats required, definitely not at the reach of everyone, so as long as people dont have Cloud OB6+anniversary or Glenn OB6 they are in big trouble (often not ob10 subs also) And most of them, for B22 even with OB6 lucia, dont have the subs to follow, me I was really close to not be able to clear it, glad I have OB10 magical subs now Crash was impossible for me back in the day, and B29 crash also impossible because I did not pull on Slay day 1 as monthly pass player (+ spent on anni a little, but I will save my reds for a long time)
Does getting the red ultimate help a ton? I been thinking about it for a couple days now. I don’t see a downside to getting ultimate for a character I use on 90% of endgame fights and it will make him heal stronger and pdef tankier
@@alchalant4663 that's exactly my feeling I got Tifa for main and stats and After I took Aerith Matt and Red as I think it's more important to focus on support. his ultimate was really usefull because he is able to tank the divebombs in my setup thanks to the 20 pdef of the ultimate weapons r ability also the extra heal Can save a Bad atb management at one point
@@Janille_ I’ll bite the bullet and grab it.. thanks 🙏 it should bring him up to 230 or so pdef like the rest of my team. And shoudl help with healing a ton. I’m not using poison. I’m using 1yr anniversary cloud aoe to kill them together and doing about the same damage as your vid - but I’ll need to survive two Divebombs with only a defaith . And I have kamura and silver collar for matk down3 instead too
@@alchalant4663 yeah it works well I had to make this setup because my kamura is only ob1 so I prefered going magical without kamura at all! but a lot of setups works this fight is so hard on stats that everyone need to spend a lot of time trying to be able to clear with their accounts and see which brands to optimize and stuff like that!
My red survived the divebomb3 18:07 with 400 hp left out of 11 291 Pdef +2 & Patk -2 With 232 pdef base stat You need to try a lot of materias / brands on your side to see the sweet spots you need. My red could have 13 000 hp and need only 210 pdef for instance etc... there is an infinity of combinaison possible since you have two variables (hp & pdef) and even more because you might play kuja ob6 for -3 patk or northern lights + junk collar on red with kamura on Aerith or play matt instead of red and have +3 pdef from centipede... a lot of possibilities but it comes down to trying a lot on your side, probably spent 15 to 20 hours on teambuilding and brands/materia optimisation for this one

Notes:

@@Janille_ b22 and b29 can be cleared with non-elemental weapons . my f2p is just super behind since i stopped playing it for 2 or 3 months total

I have all the weapons needed but its still a tough fight u need right timing for like healing
It is a hard fight for sure, the stats needed are insane to be honest! Making full use of branding for sure
