Hey Lindsey, love your videos. I am medically trained healthcare professional, however I am dyslexic and struggle to absorb information due to the jargon some tutors/ tutorial delivers. I love your simplicity and to the point approach way of teaching. You are amazing….
I live in Georgia and I’m a medical assistant/dental assistant. I want to get into the aesthetic world but I have no idea where to start or no guidance
Is it still worth doing? I’ve got a very young baby and I don’t want to waste my money. It seems like such a competitive profession especially in London so I just want someone to tell me if it’s actually still worth doing?
Thank you for sharing this! It’s so helpful and glad I watched it before booking anything. Was your level 7 self paced? Or did you have deadlines? Just worried about balancing studying with a full-time job. x
I’m in Glasgow I’m a beginner so I’d be looking to start with level 4 and follow on to do level 7 but I don’t know where or what to look for in Scotland. Thanks for your help.
Hi Lindsey please suggest academies offering level 5 & 7 aesthetic qualifications based in London. Your videos are quite useful pls make a videos on how to take clients pictures for building portfolio xx ❤
Hello, I absolutely love your UK accent❤ I live in Texas and recently got certified as a concierge neurotoxin injector in Prosper TX. Would you please be able to help provide what it is I'd be needing to build clientele also to confirm that course i took is compatible to a level 4, 5, or 7? I'd really appreciate your effort and assistance. Thank you Lindsay🎉
Such great information. Thank you! Personally I am qualified in foundation fillers & Botox, microneedling, dermaplanning, vitamin injections, fat dissolve, skin boosters, skin peels, and advanced Botox & fillers. What courses do you think I will need to do? I have been qualified for nearly a year & half xx
Thanks so much, so most places require 3 years experience to go qualify for RPL. I’d contact A Training and send them your certificates and they can advise you what you need to do based on the qualifications/ experience that you’ve got x
Hi Lindsay! Thanks for that video. I’m dental hygienist located in Kent and just sing up for the British Aesthetic Academy course. Do you think is it worth it ?
Maam,i have 2 yrs diploma in special treatment assitant (skin) in india. I have 14 yrs experience in this field. I am well trained in chemical peels, microneedling, lasers, skin biopsies, botox, prp, skin pharmacy, and skin treatments, can i get entry in level 7 in uk
Hi Lindsay! I have worked in the NHS for 4 years as a registered nurse and now, I am willing to learn about aesthetic nursing. What should be my career pathway pls as I am a newbie? Do I book for level 4 training as you’ve mentioned above? Pls reply 🙏🏻 thank you!
Hello Lindsey, thank you so much! can you recommend any training places that are in Essex or London area that offer this qualification for beginners? very grateful💕
Thank you for your video. Super helpful ❤ Does it make a difference to take a level 4 VCTC or QUALIFI? If both are ofqual regulated then does it make a difference? Do you have any London training centre recommendations. I live in Brighton but can travel to London? Thank you and much appreciated xx
Hey I’m looking at doing the A training course … did they help you work around your schedule as I work full time I’m worried about paying and not being able to do the days ?
Hi Lindsay, hope youre well. thank you so much your video really helped me. im a beauty practitioner and i did few courses which are CPD. i was thinking to do dental nursing courses to be qualified as medic side and my level 7 also, the only question i have is it necessary to study dental nursing after getting my level 7?
Hey ❤ so no one actually knows for sure what’s happening yet but check with your insurance company because as far as I know dental nurses are not classed as medics and if things do change you might do all that training for nothing but I definitely recommend doing the level 7 anyway x
Hi Lindsay, I have a question. Who is doing this day courses are now able to arrive to level 7? I know you need to have 3 years experience… but they can keep doing courses and arrive to lever 7?
Omg I’m gutted, I’ve only just trained in April. spent 2 grand on training then also over a grand on insurance 😢 money all down the drain by all accounts. I’m fuming that trainers are allowed to be taking peoples money when they know that’s these courses now are worth nothing x
Don’t get disheartened because nothings saying you cannot carry on. Nothing has been decided yet. The thing is trainers don’t know what’s going to happen, no one does really. The government did say it was changing and that licenses would be coming in and an announcement was being made by July 2023 but that’s been and gone and nothings been released so it’s anyone’s guess now x
Thank you for the info! I see this is posted a year ago - now (Sep 2024) all courses I can find to become an aesthetician requires to have a medical background, like a doctor, pharmacist or nurse. Do you think it has changed in the meantime, or am I finding the wrong courses? Thank you!
Hi Lindsay, I booked on pathway course with someone in January and am currently doing all my online theory. I have done my dermaplaning and micro needling course in person and start my injectables in January next year. it includes my foundation injectables for dermal and toxin as well as level 4 A&P, am I covered once I pass the course? I'm worried I've signed up to a course and once legislation is announced, It means nothing and I have to redo everything. Hope that makes sense, I just want to be sure I haven't paid someone and I wont be able to use the qualification afterwards or will I just have to do further education like the level 5 and 7 so just need to add on to the qualifications I will already have? Appreciate your help.
Hey lovely so with the level 5 & 7 unless you have 3 years experience it is looking like everyone will need to do further education to meet this standard x
iam trained up in laser hair removal and ipl, but iam out of practise so would need a refresher, there is a skin care clinic in the next town, do you reckon they would take me on and train me up and eventually have a career with them ? i would appreciate any advice
Hey Lindsay this was amazing advice and really helped me. After you get your level 7 what would suggest someone does after to be able to get into fillers fully and start working with clients
Thanks Shay 🥰 so a level 7 will have you qualified in dermal fillers so this will give you enough to start working on clients and then I recommend booking masterclasses to learn advanced techniques from others in the industry to better your skills
im only 17 and have a year left at a level, i only did gcse bio so im just worried if that is something to worry about>and given that i migth defer uni for this, is it a good paying job that will start me up? x
I am a registered nurse currently looking into this. What is the best plan of action? Where do I start? I don’t mind doing level 7 but can you recommend companies? 😊
H Lindsay. I have done vtct level 4 laser and Ipl course do i still need to do level 4 mentioned on the website. Or I can do level 5 straight away.. thanks

Hie which companies are nearer to Essex. I’m in Essex and I’m trying to branch out from nursing. I don’t want to waste money.
Hi Lindsay, I have a question.
Who is doing this day courses are now able to arrive to level 7? I know you need to have 3 years experience… but they can keep doing courses and arrive to lever 7?
I need to know too
Well done for being in the 5% of high performers - the other 95% is like leading a horse to water
I would like to ask you if I can open my own business with level 4?
Hi Lindsay
I am a complete beginner but been offered a pathway level 7 - is that a thing? Can I go from 0 to level 7?
you need to start off and get your beauty level 3 and can move up from there
Omg I’m gutted, I’ve only just trained in April. spent 2 grand on training then also over a grand on insurance 😢 money all down the drain by all accounts. I’m fuming that trainers are allowed to be taking peoples money when they know that’s these courses now are worth nothing x

Really helpful video. Lindsay how long would you say it would take to do all the courses back to back?
I think it depends if you’re working too. Realistically for both level 5 & 7 I’d say 1-2 years x
Thank you for the info! I see this is posted a year ago - now (Sep 2024) all courses I can find to become an aesthetician requires to have a medical background, like a doctor, pharmacist or nurse. Do you think it has changed in the meantime, or am I finding the wrong courses? Thank you!
Nothings changed, I recommend A Training who are based in Grantham - they are amazing. www.a-training.co.uk/lindsay
