I’m 15, and this will be my first time working with engines and such. Going to build one with my dad, it’s gonna be educational and fun 😂
Good stuff!
Aqui no Brasil é o motor moskito nome da importadora
Enjoy the time spent with your Dad!
Engine modification is the only way to make these things last and have power. Get a bigger carb, widen and raise the exhaust port and clean up the other ports. Gotta be sure the cylinder base gasket isn't blocking the transfers too. DO NOT BUY "MOTORIZED BIKE" EXPANSION CHAMBERS... THEY DO NOT WORK. Get a dirt bike expansion chamber and weld it on. Any dirt bike expansion chamber is better than the motorized bike exhausts on ebay...
im 27 and puting this motor on a bike was the most fun i have had in ages.
Been riding a 250 cc motorcykle before but this thing is so much cooler, and weighs like 30kg instead och 150kg
14:14 was the BEST Part of this Gas Kit. This is my second kit and last one lasted me 8,000 miles, this ones at 1,100 miles so far
What oil and gas mix do you use and what ratio?
@@hksjoshua use full synthetic oil at 40:1 ratio
I have the same kit on an old mountain bike myself. It can really go and it handles michigans hills beautifully. Much love for the kit and all who use it too.
There’s no feeling like Riding something you’ve built your self that thing runs great and has some awesome pick up !🤙🏽
Having built a few 80/66cc China dolls, the bt does look to have nice pickup
Getting ready to hotrod my 80 , had all kinds of douts but now 1200 miles later my ol'e huffy has proved me wrong doc said ride a bike do something or die so I built the Cranston with an 80cc one of those cheap chinese bike kits. , now down from 206 to 167 lbs. You showed me these kits and I thank you . I survived cancer then a heart attack now I've built 3 of these bikes one for me and my son and my grand daughter ! thank you Ol'e buddy ! I'm having a keystone moment in honor of you !
Mike Oliveira
Poor Poor I’ve put 30,000 miles on mine and the bike is fine. Also the top speed isn’t fast at all. Only around 30mph
Great inspiration, having some sort of interest is very healthy, good for you mike oliveira sr, keep up with this fun hobby and keep smiling.
Finally! Thanks for the info! Great video!
Good that you're back, love the bike
Bro muffler clamps work amazingly well to not damage the two studs that hold the muffler in place from not disconnecting from the engine block I had problems with gaskets going out because of that so it does help man
I have two gas bikes, one Zeda 80 and the other is a YD100 engine, both stock and the 100 is a very noticeable increase in power. A lot more torque and a little more top end too. I really like my 100.
Dude you're crazy! Going that fast with just the coaster brake. I tried it once, and only once because someone pulled out in front of me and had to jamb the brake and the broke the bolt and needless to say screwed up the rim.
I go 50 on the coaster
That's awesome that's what I whant
I go 65kmh on an bike from 2011 with v brakes never crashed or something on fell once when i was stoped
Coaster brake upgrade " use a stainless bolt & teflon but even drill it out 1,2, sizes bigger for even more strength, # gothrualltheweakestlinksb4
I've been riding my bt100 cruiser and the bt is the best for it's out of the box performance without upgrades except for a exhaust baffle cut mod and a few holes drilled into the cap.. that greatly increased the power without stealing power
Great video &the motor looks nice with the frame!
That little engine runs great!
Does that little engine run great?
Yes I can vouch for the engines, ordered mine, but it was a UMoto T-100 Zeus 100cc(actual 78.6)cc
lol that front tire be like "HELP MEEEE!!!" Nice build sounds good too :D
Great engine, just got mine all broken in. Runs smooth and very quick. Had the China girl for 5 years, but this one hundred cc.is Awesome!
I rebuilt a kohler k321 engine boosted my confidence on doing mechanic things broke so many Chinese tools tho but was cool to have an running mini tractor and you know the confidence to build other stuff
that's a pretty bad ass looking little bike. the helmet looks awesome with it too. it'd be cool if it had a kickstart and a 5 speed transmission but i guess that be hard to fit all that in there
I bet your neighbours love you. Good little engine.
HA!
that's why i'm starting with the four stroke and then using the 2 stroke on my second bike , i bike to work during the evening so i don't wanna be that guy riding a 2 stroke in town at 10pm
Haha I toke off the exhaust cap completely
@@uploaded113redone thats exactly what im doin nothin beats being able to sneak around unintentionally 😏
Engine sounds fairly balanced stock, for me the a huge bonus.
That was great. I really enjoy your videos.
you put a smile on my face having a craic wit that little yoke, and that blooper/ fail at the end made me laugh loud. most realistic review I've seen so far. wil! buy one, see if it gives me more fun then my 600cc motorbike
If you take 3/16 fuel line from your local auto store cut them as shorter than the studs and use it on gas tank studs as dampeners gas tank works great
I put green painters tape on the top tube, and gobbed on silicone under the tank, installed it, smoothed the silicone out and have a perfectly matched rubber damper the length of the tank.
I rather watch the whole vid 😁👊🏽👌🏽 You explain everything you do really well!
That idle sounds really nice. That whole bike is pretty nice.
Man I thought my roads was rough. Great video
i have two huffy cruiser's i like them work and ride great don't need 7-speed or more just to drive one Gear works just as good . two thumps up
Cranbrook or nel lusso? Been debating between those or a schwinn midway cruiser for my first build.
Hey that's a smart little engine to be fair. With the extra torque from the larger cylinder, it could be worth changing the rear sprocket for a -2 or -3 tooth smaller one - it'd increase the top end a fair bit and hopefully not be so much as to make the gear too long though.
I really like the fact that they made a larger bore, apparently its 50mm as opposed to previous engines all 47mm. That to me gives it alot of potential but with the head not detachable it seems that it would be hard if not impossible to get in there to modify the ports so I think I'll stick with the old long connecting rod type B piston variety and the two hours of port work I have to do on each replacement cylinder. I'm still running my Zeda80 bottom end on maybe my sixth fresh top end and second fresh bike? Bearings still good, still runs like a champ!
Insane, I've not seen a faster bike. That build is solid, no doubt.
Keep it up Alex, Love your content! 39mph impressive! You be safe Bro
Was that the top speed lol
Thinking of building one for my bike, looks like a lot of fun
Worth it always
@WHATS YOURSOC I used a Mtn. Bike instead. Much better brakes and with a front brake, you can stop quicker. With just a rear Bendix brake, you will be skidding, in an emergency situation.
Good overall description, first time being, look forward to more.
I like how it fits perfectly on the huffy cranbrook without adapters.
This thing would *scream* if you put a jackshaft/shifter kit on it. Wow. I'm pretty sure with that installed, it'd go faster then the 125 I had (which topped out around 54 MPH)
Great video! However, I do not recommend drilling a hole into ANY tube of the Cranbrook, as it will weaken it. A spring loaded chain tensioner and a better chain (410) will work wonders-John in Texas
415H chain is a great alternative to the basic chain, it has 3,500 tensil strength apart the one on the kits hold around 600-800 tensil
Straight up I’m getting one. I got backroads from where I live 12 miles into town. Wanted a bike but I don’t really need more than this. Kabam
I might rethink that choice most cheap engine kits end up being disasters I had 3 before
Kevin Montoya if you build them correctly they usually last.
Big fan of the videos, hope you come out with some more content soon!
Definitely need a expansion pipe and that's a great motor 100cc can't go wrong
Me: This wouldn't be allowed where I live.
Also me: Wait, this is the town where I live.
You live in the P?
@@MotoredLife Yes sir! Border of Dunlap and the P off of Knoxville. Great vids, something I've been interested in doing myself for a long time.
Yo same
In Minnesota or Wisconsin, the Cops would impound that bike in a heartbeat!
Right before you put the mph up, I was guessing that you were doing 40mph by how fast the lines on the road were going by, that's way faster than you should have been going, lol, great video, thanks for sharing.
Mr alex your awsome i have 2 motorized bikes i have a huffy cranbrook myself i added all aftermarket parts and just a stock carb the second motorized bike is not done and the the last is my tandem bike i will slap a motor on it im inspired of your creations god bless u dude
Got one an put the after market mods left it piston port an with a nice cylinder porting it goes pretty dam good
An a yz pipe
true
What type of mods?? I got a 2t flying horse 80cc as is stock GPS at 32mph with 190lbs rider.. im thinking only thing it needs airfilter carb adjustments a nice exhaust... but is there stuff like for scooters big bore kits cdi/coil sparkplug cvt/clutch upgrades etc. ?? Not that i want much more than 32mph from my bobber bike but having the "power" the option to hit 45mph would be crazy lol
Sounds lean/airleak plus all the engine braking is gonna kill it in no time,i noticed it wasnt returning to idle either,i would check for air leaks bud and maybe check jets etc 👍
love the style of bike you went with 👍
Shut the fuk up you are fukin stupid no idea what u saying
Calm down linda
Make sure you pack those wheel bearings.
I've burnt up Huffy bearings, in 3 days they come new with just light oil.
7:07. Gave me a lot of flashbacks to my 66cc beach cruiser
Hey Alex, nice sounding little motor! Just bought my first bike motor. Got it from Helio through Walmart . Supposed to be a PK 80, we'll see. You and a couple of other guys got me into this, wish me luck. I'm 68 years old with a bad back. Retired and bored, this looks like a lot of inexpensive fun so I thought I'd give it a go.
Can you give me some instruction for breaking these motors in? Do I baby the motor, or what? Any tips you can give me would help... Thanks!
Ps. From the picture the motor comes partially disassembled. What should I look for when putting it together. I'm familiar with old British motorcycle motors, but they're all four strokes. I have all the tools so that isn't an issue.
I am disabled back entirely broken in bad car wreck 2014 and my neck broken 3 times first by chiropractor other accidents. Like you became interested after watching his videos. I tinker on outboard motors boats etc.. Sold my last Harley in 2020 just cannot take it with my bad back. I have 2 beach cruiser style bikes I think I am going with 100 motor to start. I have a 20 ft shipping container I transformed into my shop. I have lots of great tools bandsaw(metal) drill press welder u name it ! So after watching I feel confident this is going to be a hoot! Eventually I want to build a hybrid type bicycle very similar to original board track Harley with belt drive etc… Good Luck!!
Oh and I been researching did you ever try out the 4 stroke they are super quiet and also just as fast...
You should make a thorough walkthrough for a predator 212 build because it’s a badass build and no good ones exist. Plus you’re an excellent guide
Put one on my Diamondback Outback, have 400 miles on it now, going strong, just cored the exhaust and semi tuned the carb with a 36 tooth goes easy 37 mph,
For a better more comfortszble ride how about putting that on a bike with four inch tires?
For those worried about him going that fast with coaster brakes...don't.
Yes coaster brakes can heat up and explode at speeds like this, but if you look closely, he slowly disengages the clutch when he wants to slow down, dramatically reducing the amount of wear on the coaster brakes, and making it much safer to stop
I took a chance on the ebay $85 49cc 2 stroke. I put it on a mountain bike. I had to cut off the front derailer so motor mounts would fit. I love it. It always starts and I got 22 MPH on a slight down hill. I Always use 40:1 no alcohol engineered 2 stroke fuel from Home Depot. No break in just run the hell out of it.
It must suck only going 20mph lol
Love you videos I have a two stroke pedal bike motor comment with a limited slip clutch cover and a rear hub adapter can't wait to set it up on my felt liner Cruiser
Such a cool build - wild acceleration but man, without proper brakes it's a death trap. Is it legal in US?
Always check local and state laws. Every place is different
Yes it is far as I no it is in ga .and Florida
Poor Poor you and whatever you are driving will get mangled if you hit something at 50mph. What is your point? Also I have seen your comment copied and pasted on replies for multiple other comments. What are you trying to get across?
Poor Poor it’s a risk you take. Just like riding a regular motorcycle. If you aren’t skilled enough to safely ride you shouldn’t be riding in the first place.
Poor Poor you were talking about what would happen if you ran into something. The width of the tyres and size of the disc brakes won’t save you if you crash on a motorcycle. Plus, I don’t live in Victoria, so it really doesn’t matter to me what your laws are.
I go threw seats like crazy on my bike I always break them
Huffy seats are crap.
I found the video very informative thank you !!!
Want a little extra out of the exhaust,, drill out the plates inside with 3/8 to 1/2" beside the existing hole for the cut off tube,, helps huge, plus a decent header wrap to keep the heat consistant internally
Is it possible to buy the bike already built
bikeberry.com sells complete bikes. They really aren't that hard to build. I'll help you if you want to build one.
@WHATS YOURSOC you are correct. I put hub drives on all the bikes I've built.
This is basically an add for getting four stroke motors.
Dam that motor is pretty fast man with everything stock I can imagine that thing with an oz reed and an expansion pipe
I reckon she's a regular little "Ball Tearer!!" Thanks for sharing the fun!
4:30 reminds me of an cr500 lol
Could you do a full tutorial of how to put a 49cc engine on bike
ua-cam.com/video/XDruEHpE7dw/v-deo.html
Would love a video of dos and donts with these like how long you can ride also what you shouldn't do as far as being dumb trying to let it do all the work
You’ve done basically the best videos on the BT 100 I’m wondering have you done any modifications and is it possible you could do another video follow up i’m probably gonna do the longer spark plug wire like you I would like a pull start my first modification I had a good idea for a custom airflow
cranbrook frame aka walmart bike
Front tire seems to shake pretty bad.
Brand new and the wheel is bent.
@@bluemountaindrivepae cheap and worth it lol
Love these videos gizza
Hello I got got a bicycle and a two stroke motor 49cc just can’t wait to put it on my new bicycle
cops told me if they catch me riding over 20mph they'll take me to jail for driving on revoked and no registration. Idk how ur always getting away with speeding
Depends a LOT on the department
It depends on your local laws some states it just can't be bigger then 50cc motor. Some you need lights to. You Also have to remember cops are just regular people and it depending on how there days going🤫 you might be screwed🤔 😬🤬🤧😎✌️
Slick
Joseph Saucedo
But cops aren't regular people...their cops, robotic annoyance tools.
@@dozhadeville444 Douche bags
Not worth the extra money in my eyes. Still a great engine but technically the same as the cheaper ones.
yeah its ment to be a 100cc engine and they are all the same as the 80cc/49cc. i payed $180 aus for an 80cc kit and the only problems ive had was the float in the carb had a hole in it and the chain kept snapping, all i did was buy a performance carbe and a spring chain tension and i havnt had a problem ever since. i just like to make sure all the bolts are tight every month or so
omg i have got to build one!!!!!! looks so fun!
Also an interesting video would be a tool list to work on and be a mechanic on motorized bicycles like these not just for yourself but for others you want to help
I think your roads are just as crappy as mine
U think urs is bad i have original 1800s brick streets
@@shakydriver64same here in Hungary. I live in a road that was made very long ago from carved stones. horrible shit, they only keep it cause its vintage but you cant use a bike on it
Sounds like u wish it had a 5 speed
80cc motorised kit if bike is 9 speed it has 9 gears then mine has 7 1st is so good for hills
@@mattysfishingadventures Oh yeah I'm sure a camshaft kit would make this thing fly!!! That is, if 2 strokes had camshafts and you knew what your talking about
You want more gears, buy a motorcycle thats built for strength and speed, not a push bike.
OMG the projects I would’ve gotten into as a kid /teen if only we had the Internet/ access to information. Catching up now I guess. lol 😆
Love your projects!! 👍
Never too late to join the club!

nice set up and video.. riding gloves are a must for long cruises!!!
Huffy bike lol, open up that wallet and let the moths out.
steel frame = mint
All steel bike, very heavy.
You got a beach cruiser didn't see the water. Loved the video.
Awesome vid
How about Engine Hop ups?
I'm running a 26" Beach Cruiser with a Stage Two engine. 8mm mounting bolts, Balanced crank, tuned pipe, Hi Compression Head, w/ 6mm combustion chamber, Iridium Spark Plug, the big box Racing Reed Valve, Longer intake manifold, Racing Carb. All of this is to help the engine simply "breath" better.
Over this summer I've been also working with different Jet sizes. With this setup I burn Premium Gas and full synthetic "Stihl" chainsaw oil, mixed at 40-1.
With a 44 tooth rear sprocket, flat ground, zero wind, 44-46 mph, comfortable cruise 37-38 mph. I bought a $12 Digital speed computer from the local Hardware Store.
Move up to motorcycles.
You're ready.
Nice sound!
Oh yeah I just bought one had it ported real good and I'm putting it on a 29er oneX with a 40 tooth my next thing to buy for it is a Mikuni carburetor I got a modify KTM type and Imma put the silencer pipe on the end of it to create a good expansion I should have great power from it then I got front disc brake but I want to put disc brake on the back also, bike in the mail can't wait till it get here so I can put on and see how fast it goes and feel the power
I spent nearly $400 on a friction drive kit with a Honda engine, $100 on a Huffy Cranbrook, $40 on Kevlar tires, and was not disappointed. It's about half as fast on average, but that little 1HP engine surprised me. The whole thing was easy and reliable. The 2 stroke engines I was using before each and every 1 (except 1 that cost several hundred dollars to build, equipped with an expansion chamber exhaust, high comp head, special sprocket adapter, 40T sprocket in back, and a great, reliable CDI system that's been discontinued for years) quit in 3 months or less, put too much wear and tear on my bikes and the kits themselves, the kit I had with the 212cc predator engine wobbled my wheel and axle so hard it totaled my Schwinn Meridian trike in 3 blocks, but my Staton-inc. friction drive kit with their smallest engine and drive roller was pulling me 16-25MPH for hundreds of miles and almost a year without issue until the bike was stolen.
Kenny Noble sad to hear it was stolen
@WHATS YOURSOC Well, I don't know about that. I usually have a bike alarm and discrete motion-sensing HD night vision cam now. Plus, it was a dumb thief. That's all I'm saying about that.
I had a yd 100 but it was stolen. I would LOVE to see a yd 100/bt 100 comparison video. I bet a lot of other people would too.
Nice work bro
You seem so talented and skillful.
Thank you! I have been doing this for a while. I have way more cool parts then I even have time to show.
I took my baffle out once, people just stop and stared, could never imagine such a little engine making so much noise.
I love it I be getting my some time today in instilling it
That little engine seems to do ok!
Love to see a OCC bike with a sidecar on it... Old school ! Great motor that 100..
Damn that thing's pretty damn fast and cool
The bigger gas tanks don't have the 4 studs coming out it has a plate welded on the front and back so you would be able to tighten them up a lot more
Open the exhaust port a little and check inside the headpipe for a welded washer, if it has one take a step drill and open it up. Thanks.
freaking epic.
It sounds good that’s for sure
Thanks!
I’m glad you didn’t get hurt... peace
Good video I enjoy this sort of thing cheap transport
I love when everything rattles around and vibrates lol
I think the term " Hollywood Stops " applies to your driving style. Might be fun on a dirt bike course or old flat country roads..
What do you recommend for the break in period? Planning on purchasing this engine :)
