Do you think using battery try provided for the back and adding weight to the skids would help weight distribution ?

I don’t think they made any updates to them. I lost one of the pins on my other one. I bought a couple sets of the rebuild kit lol

any bump steer? and how easy is it to get in there and make changes? the og was a pain to work on motor and other parts and excessive plastics.
seeing it go from soa to cms, though more scale, just seems a bit backwards and complicating the geometry which the og wasn't that good to begin with.
is it still a reversed mullet? the og had a lower rear axle clearance compared to front.
I have been asking whether these new rigs are progressing the hobby forward, or are they just cloning or just putting out what we've already done.

Put the Jconcepts Landmines on, it has a stepped lug design. Under compression, those tires “bite” I’ve used them before and they are unreal.
Yep! Great tires. Around here the ruptures are just unstoppable though

Haven’t heard that it’s been upgraded so I’d say it needs it but I had no issue with this one.

The panhard does have some more material added compared to the regular Ascent which should fix the issues we've seen. We forgot to mention it in the marketing material.

I appreciate that! I wouldn’t count on the servo being waterproof. It don’t really say. I’m sure it can handle water pretty well as most of them do ok. I’d say if it’s submerged a lot though it may have issues. But that’s just a guess. The fusion in it should be fine. I’ve sank those things plenty lol

Nice! I always run these in my crawlers. Small enough they keep weight down but they last a LONG time. Great price also! Plugs straight into the fusion!

I noticed that the transmission is supposedly quick change for odd gears
@@matthewwmullan yeah it is. This one already has the underdrive gears installed though. The og ascent you had to install them.
@@2fmrc thanks for the reply u think i can dismount the stock tires that come on the fusion ascent and slap some injora beadlocks on there will that be an easy task i have never done it ???
@@Senditjp247 oh yeah! Nothing to that. They are a 1.9 tire. Beadlock wheels so you’ll just remove the screws and be good to go!

These are good chargers for a decent price. Depends how much you wanna spend. There’s a cheaper one for around $38 that will work fine but this one is slightly nicer imo

You're killing me! I just bought the little one. Immediately looked at the big brother. Figured I'd put the Fusion in it that you so highly praised. Then you show us this. I need to unsubscribe! lol.
Haha! Don’t do that! I just saved you time and money see 🤷🏻♂️ now instead of buying the og ascent and having to purchase and install the fusion and carbon chassis etc. you can get it all at once. It’s all about perspective 😆
Okay. Learned the lesson. Never buy the first new model.
Now even more regret doing so, even paying about 150 bucks more that what it costs over there to import one. Finding it was pretty overhyped on UA-cam, needing a lots of work / upgrades to be any good.
The 1/18 over here can’t be bought for the price it got introduces. Now this. They should have made this the original one. Take an example on the new fms. All there at introduction and bang for the buck. No more redcat for me….
Redcat may have just ruined the hobby for those of us that like to tinker and modify things. There's not much left to do on this one!
