I always tip extra when it’s raining, and I tip well because I’ve been a Dasher. I recently placed my first grocery delivery order through DD because I had covid. I ordered from Sprouts (your favorite), but not that many items, and all from the produce section, and I tipped REALLY well on that because I thought of you (the dasher was really fast!). I tried doing Instacart once, and hated it, I mean as a delivery person. I hope your YT channel starts making you A LOT of money!

There’s a setting in Uber eats to turn off incoming offers while your driving to the customer. It’s a game changer smile😊

Yes rain brings orders, but they are crap orders in my area. They tried to give me 2 orders today at Wingstop for $6, yeah no decline!!
Yeah or Some days it stays slow in the rain… and others it’s like you said lots of bad orders. But if you hold out you’ll usually get the better ones every so often through out the day. Even if you take a couple borderline offers not going far.
This past Tuesday My son heard me say $11 (and a few cents 😂) for 4.6 or 4.7 miles something like that. So as I’m heading, accept and getting ready to go back out he goes “is that good?” I was like “pretty much yeah. It’s $2 a mile plus even if it doesn’t go up…” (which I knew probably wouldn’t at least I thought with the odd number and it didn’t go up. 😂) I didn’t say it was phenomenal. But I was fine with it and I don’t expect to get huge high-paying office unless it’s not busy and everyone else has better stats as far as they are already on an order or orders or took the day off. 😂
I don’t feel like we’re asking for much, but we just want reasonable offers. Anything else is gravy and quite welcomed!
It’s just a shame it’s left to the customers to pay us pretty much or at least 90 something percent so just about in full.
Sorry, that should say offers not Office. And I should say I don’t expect huge pay orders unless it is very busy and etc. not isn’t busy etc. which doesn’t even make any sense. But hopefully now you guys know what I mean 😂
I also notice that rain brings many low to no tip orders. Sorry, I'm not driving for $2 especially to get soaked and drive around in the rain. Hang in there MM. You are one tough lady.

I don’t know what’s going on, but there are way too many dashers nowadays and no tippers are out of this world!!! Being a Top Dasher is not helping whatsoever!!!

We had a couple days of pouring rain, one of which was on Easter. I thought I'd be able to make some great money-lmmfao!!! Most of the orders didn't even have a tip, and a lot of high miles one to boot. My poor phone shorted out 5-6 times from all the rain. I worked over 8 hrs, did 15 deliveries, and only made $101. Yet a friend of mine text boasted that he was getting $20- 39 deliveries. Same city, same app (UE).
So I signed up to Dash last month but haven't started yet. Now that I am finally ready to start, the weather has been janky. Between the recent rain causing area flooding and todays earthquake I dare not go out to Dash. Im glad things worked out for you. Be safe. 🙏🏽

I do Uber eats in same area(s) as you and for the past like week maybe week and a half I get the worst orders and the other day for the first time someone took off their tip and that suckeddddd. I hope I see you one day so I can say hello! (If that’s okay) 😊

I’ve definitely either ended it by accident or paused it correctly and they still ended it once or twice. But I’ve also often I lost track of time when it was paused. But if I really want the shift or the part of a shift or whatever it is, I have started setting my alarm for like a good seven minutes before the 35 minutes would be up 😂 so they can’t say 35 min is over like a minute or two early. I’ve unpaused it and had to re pause for a few. And they never take me off of that but I’ve seen people say that they would only let them pause so much. 🤷♀️

Usually if I'm waiting for orders I complain about it in the video, lol, but I do edit that time out. Would be boring to just watch me waiting for orders.

But since I’m behind with everything, I figured I would let it play and I heard most of it. So maybe I will rewatch eventually. I was bummed that I missed the 10,000 subscribers Live you held! I watched the first half hour when I saw that and I do plan to go back and finish watching it. I was enjoying it… and the only good thing about missing the live if it was something that you would’ve liked to have partaken in, is, at least you don’t have to try to keep up with the chat. 😂 that can be a bit exhausting. 😂 mainly when it’s a group of people that you enjoy and not as anonymous with hundreds of thousands of people or something because you don’t want to miss a comment that somebody says to you or ask question to you. The general you. That’s the only thing that stresses me out watching lives. 😂

Way more no tippers than I've even seen before. Best the other day was 26 miles for $9. Nooooooo!!! Glad you made some coin in the rain, I tend to avoid bad weather.
I started this morning at 8:30 I did doordash an Uber Eats I finished at 6:00 and all I made was $113 pretty much got about 48 cents 50 Cent a mile
Stop driving as soon as you can. Your car will be trashed because of miles etc. Pivot away as best you can, into other sources of income. I know it's difficult & takes time, but pivot you must...as most delivery drivers/rideshare drivers are currently doing. The apps are shaving miles. Shaving time. Stealing tips. Paying less than $1/mile. Gas went up this week! Charging is increasing.
The situation is not going to improve. The apps are on an upward earnings trajectory. The shareholders are demanding the companies show profit. And the profit must come from the drivers.
Get to see you out even a few hours Mama the money seems better at dinner which makes sense bigger orders. I wish there was a filter you could put on the app to block the low amounts. You would think these companies know people don't want to work for nothing by now.

It looks like the algorithm knows what you'll accept because of several borderline offers
The algorithm caps hourly earnings in most areas. It only deviates if the supply looks like it's falling short of demand. UEats & RideShare algorithm wants 6-7 drivers available for each trend predicted demand. If the drivers available exceed trend demand, you are well & truly capped with offers & hourly pay rate. If your hourly rate (that you have set yourself) exceeds other drivers available, the algorithm will leave you sitting in your car for hours, or, will send you the long pick ups/drop offs or lowest offers.
