Hey mommy. Thanks for sharing this with us. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd born and I feel so detached from this baby. I am even thinking of sending her away to her father’s family immediately after she’s born😢. These are the thoughts I can’t share with anyone because um scared I’ll be judged. But now I’m busy with nursary room. I hope it will help me to love and cherish this new person coming to my life.🥹
You are so smart and emotionally intelligent as you emphasise that in the mist of all those emotions you were feeling, you were able to identify that this time is not the right time to talk about my feelings.cause some women blow all the emotions in the wrong way resulting in failed relationships
Love it here❤❤So well spoken.loved it more when you talked about gratitude. It's really important to exercise gratitude because even when you go through a lot,the focus is not there. Then you become positive that things do get better and truth is,they do get better.
Thank you for sharing ❤, motherhood can be very lonely to be honest and people just go on with their lives after they have seen the baby and if you don’t communicate no one will see you, I was actually happy to go to work early, I don’t think I’m made to take care of a baby 24/7 I’m sorry but l just cannot it would just tire me….when l was on maternity leave I struggled to even bath on time but with work lt was mandatory …. So l get you
Your honesty sana❤ I also found it difficult to ask my family for help because I am used to being a child at home, so sending people around felt very weird so I would do everything on my own. That two weeks was a lot, I went back kwami and things got so much better.❤
Sana I also gave birth on the same day with you , my daughter is turning 6 months Monday . Sana it really gets better . I gave birth naturally but it’s wasn’t love at first sight 🥴. And things got worse when I got home and she was a crying baby yoh she would cry to a point that would say to my mom “ can we please take her back to her mom “ forgetting that I am the mom 😭🤣. She had to stay in hospital for me to create a bond for us . I can relate to your experience with your mom .sana my mom fed baby at 3 weeks 😬🤣 yoh sana there was a lot happening but all I can say it gets better . She is most important person in my life , I love her soo much 💗
You look so beautiful 🥰this colour looks so good on you! Also your makeup looks nice. ❤❤ I don’t have kids yet but I learned so much from this video. 😅
Hi mom...yhooo I can relate to a lot of things you are saying I'm also a first time mom my daughter is a month younger than Khumo, talking about the pressure from your family I also experienced that they were telling me to start feeding her solids at 2 weeks I had to come back to my husband because I could see that it was too much and if you don't do what they get offended... thank you for sharing your story 🎉❤
I also went back kwami after 2 weeks of being home, I was fed up😂 I think it’s easier to ask for help from your husband because kini you are used to being a child and ngapha you’re getting criticism for not doing what your elders are telling you to do.
I actually just watched Nontos video and she was touching on the fact that how much her family supported her w her baby and that made her not have postpartum depression. She emphasised how her mom would come in the morning w breakfast and take the baby so she could sleep and wake up to bath etc. an active supportive system is so important OMG. Thank you for telling your experience I took a lot from this 🥺🫂

Awh mama I’m sorry you feel that way, please pray about it and God will open your heart to his purpose with that baby 🤍
