  • Model: Husky C201H - Capacity: 20 gal, Features: Oil Free, Portable, With Wheels, Flow Rate: 4 CFM, Power Output: 1.3 hp, Power Source: Electric, Pump Style: Single Stage, Tank Style: Vertical.
    80% longer run time compared to 20 Gal. compressor w/ 150 max PSI.
    Runs on up to 400 ft. of Extension Cord
    Cold Start Capable to -20°F (-29°C)
    This Husky 20 Gallon Air Compressor failed during a morning masonry project. We were using the compressor to cut bricks for a fireplace hearth project. Today, we are working to repair this economically priced air compressor. Although these compressors may be considered disposable by some consumers, they are a solid option at an affordable price for the average DIYer.
    We have used this compressor in our shop @2StallGarage for just under 2 years. This compressor works well for small to small/medium sized tasks. Some things we've done with this compressor are, paint autos, paint cast iron stoves, masonry projects, ATV restorations and more.
    Although this compressor is great for a beginner and even the average DIY shop, we would not recommend using this compressor in larger unfiltered or filtered air supply systems due to the compressor not coming with the option of an air filter. The air intake is a conduit tube that would normally be used to shield automotive wiring.
    I believe we paid around $215 for this compressor. You can now find them around $100 online, if they are in stock.
    It appears they are no longer manufacturing this model, therefore if you are going this route, you will likely want to look for the next latest line or model of the Husky 20 gallon compressor.
    Total cost of repair at project completion: $7.00 (approx.)
    Total labor time of repair: 90 min (approx)

      Unfortunately, no. Subsequently a while after this video, mine failed as well. I kept the tank, a few parts and tossed the motor.

    I have made many attempts to master this skill,,, of melting the molt into finessing 'just the tip'.... But men will be man. Messes or masterpiece?
    Aside the messynesses,,, I believe it was not wrong!
    My air compressor works again because of your video.
    Just asking as a fan, if you could possibly add just slightly more video of you going back in, no words only asking for 10 more seconds or so, I believe it needs a tad smidge more tin. Wrongiterians were left on edge, finish them!

    Hi I have a husky f3s33vwd 33 gallon that runs but no air comes out. Where should I start trouble shooting?

    • @2StallGarage
      @2StallGarage  Рік тому +1

      It’s very possible there is an issue with the compression cylinder, piston rod or sleeve

    • @2StallGarage
      @2StallGarage  Рік тому +1

      Taking the top apart will reveal the cylinder. If it’s broken, there will be pieces of metal somewhere inside it. Check this out. aircompressorpartsonline.com/oilfree-portable-air-compressor-parts-f3s33vwd-516051-p-78232.html

    I have the new 200psi husky and when is this unit supposed too auto shut off at what psi ?? I let it test build pressure and it started passing 200psi on the dial never shut off never even blew the safety relief valve . I just wanted too know if this is supposed to auto off after 175 or 200 psi or more ? Before I just let it run continuously at this point . Seems suspicious too me

    • @2StallGarage
      @2StallGarage  Рік тому

      Ufda. It should cut out at 175psi.

    • @2StallGarage
      @2StallGarage  Рік тому

      If you have a new 200 max PSI unit, then you should achieve that PSI. Shouldn’t go over that though.

    My compressor starts working and builds pressure up to 150psi but sometimes during work it will not start and won't keep tank charged. Sometimes it turns on only for a few seconds then goes quiet. Sometimes I hears something that it wants to start like air going somewhere through the pipe for about 2 second and then quiets and stays like that. Fails to keep up pressure in tank when I use it. Pressure goes low as 50psi but compressor doesn't start. Then I had to open drain valve to release remaining air pressure in the tank. Disconnect it from AC power for few minutes and it starts working again build up to 150psi again. I don't hear any air leaks. What could be wrong??

    • @2StallGarage
      @2StallGarage  2 роки тому

      These have a very simple on/off switch and air pressure switch attached to the tank. Have you tried changing to a different outlet/power source?

    Just a tip for you….You are not soldering correctly. That’s why you are making a mess and using so much solder, not to mention a bad solder joint. You need to heat up the item you want soldered to a temperature higher than the melting point of the solder, then slowly push the solder against the item, not the soldering iron. If it’s hot enough, solder will flow and complete the joint. Believe it or not, the correct process makes it way easier all the way around. Just trying to save you some frustration in the future.

    Videos need to be proofed by several people before putting out for the world to see WTF.
