I "tune in" every week, just for Ken's sport coat. Thanks for another fine episode of "What's Neat This Week" Scale Rail Ray heading to my corner of the round house.
If the monthly show had a mix of layout tours, how tos and manufacturer interviews of people not named Bachman then the monthly show would be perfect IMO.
I've been a customer of Spring Creek Hobbies for almost 15 years now. They are great to work with. On a trip from Virginia to Utah, my wife and I made it point to stop at Spring Creek hobbies and visit the shop and say hi to the folks who I communicate with when ordering trains on an almost monthly basis.
What a neat show! It's always a pleasurer to see Brad Joesph & his stories! I use to build his vehicles @ Chrysler/St. Louis Assembly Plant # 1 South Fenton, Missouri. Oliver C. Joesph In Belleville,Il. I retired @ Chrysler/ Daimler- Benz in 2007 after 30 years! The 3d printing has taken off! A different dimensional feature! It is awesome! Don't forget your fall clothing @ Jelsma Graphics! "A Stitch Above The Rest" This is "The World's Greatest Hobby" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack "May Your Tracks Be Clear, And Your Switches Be Lined Up" Rock N' Roll Forever.. 10/17/ 2024
Hey Ken I'd used those magnets on my layout for uncoupling cars but I think they were a little small. I used 8mm but I think I'll try 12mm rectangular probably work better under the track. So thanks for the show, keep us connected.
His trip must have been before Feb 2022 if he saw the queen drive by! I'll have to show this to my wife who is a born and raised Brit from up north new Newcastle.
Wonderful photographs. BTW it is pronounced JACK O BITE after the uprising of Bonnie Prince Charlie, the Young Pretender against the “English “ King . This culminated in the battle of Colloden. The Prince fled over the sea to Skye (hence the song) with the help of Flora MacDonald. Later the Prince left for France and Flora and her family ended up in North Carolina. She later returned to her home in Skye On another note the West Highland Railway had coaches which were green and cream, unfortunately they are no longer in service. I have a set of those coaches modified from Lima coaches.
I think the name is largely irrelevant, talk show vs podcast. A podcast suggests an audio component, like Apple Podcasts is what I use to listen to podcasts, but if a podcast isn’t available on any of the common podcast apps, or if it’s just video with audio of course, idk if I’d actually feel confident calling it a podcast, especially if it’s not tailored to an audio listener. You can’t watch a UA-cam audio only unless you pay to be able to turn off the screen on your phone while a video is going. Doesn’t matter though, still enjoy it, and it’s just more work to upload elsewhere as audio only.
I don't know about Nebraska. But in Texas, Rosa's is the most tasteless, bland Mexican food you can get!!! IDK about the cabbage deal, but you get a lot more lettuce than meat on your taco's if that's what he means!!! Takes a lot of hot sauce and S&P if they have any on the tables!!! In short, IT SUCKS!!!
Thank you for another fantastic show

"Mallard" still holds the world speed record for a steam locomotive of 126 m.p.h. The record has not been beaten by the new-build "Tornado".
