You are talking about color rendering and M11, but at my knowledge, Alan Shaller is using a Leica M10 Monochrom. (sorry; no color) I don't know who the two other photographers are.
The X2D and 4K video? NO. The X2D has NO VIDEO CAPABILITY AT ALL.

You are correct about the Monochrom, but it is a M11 Monochrom. The silver battery release on the bottom of the camera means it is not an M10.
I am also considering a Fuji GFX.
Neither of these cameras can shoot video at all.
A notilux can get a whole set of x2d lens n body
