As someone with a lot of food allergies, I absolutely hate when a nutrition label says “flavors” or “natural flavors.” Flavors of what?? Am I going to get a rash or feel sick?? It sucks that companies don’t have to put everything that’s in a product on its label 😔 personally, I don’t care if something is “natural” or not… I just want to know what it is so I don’t accidentally poison myself!

When it comes down to the ingredients in Cheez It’s and Simple Mills, I would definitely agree that Simple Mills is the “healthier” option. It’s not just the nutritional labels that should be compared.
    Cheez Its
Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, vitamin B1 [thiamin mononitrate], vitamin B2 [riboflavin], folic acid), vegetable oil (high oleic soybean, soybean, palm, and/or canola oil with TBHQ for freshness), cheese made with skim milk (skim milk, whey protein, salt, cheese cultures, enzymes, annatto extract color).Contains 2% or less of salt, paprika, yeast, paprika extract color, soy lecithin.
    V.S.
SIMPLE INGREDIENTS: Nut and Seed Flour Blend (Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Flax),Tapioca, Cassava, Organic Cheddar Cheese (Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Organic Sunflower Oil, Sea Salt, Organic Onion, Organic Garlic, Rosemary Extract (For Freshness), Organic Paprika, Annatto

The idea that "dairy is bad for you and oat or almond milk is better" only applies really to the lactose intolerant. I don't know where this comes from. If you don't have sensitivities to dairy, and you're not vegan, there's absolutely no reason to avoid dairy. And too many of the "dairy police" do things like use dairy yogurt but decide that oat-based ice "cream" is somehow better.

She isn’t a nutritionist that shies away from occasional indulgence of a moderate and appropriate amount. She isn’t phobic of treats in a balanced healthy diet. So I think not a conflict at all.
