I am a food lover and have visited a lot of places around the world, but one of the best days of my life was the day, when I have discovered Syrian cuisine. It was in Istanbul, authentic Syrian restaurant in Fatih discrict. Wow, I had been going there again and again, and every visit was something special.

My flatmates in the other room are Syrian overseas workers like me. They were so friendly to me...I have one of the closest Sytian friend who will knock my door to invite me for food. And their foods was quite different and tasty as well. I'm a Filipino and very unfamiliar with their food and culture and I became used to it and I love how they were hospitable and inviting to me. I used to cook now in my home sometimes some of their known dishes.

Turkish cuisine is usually from Great Syria back in the time.. Also, it's normal about Israel because Jews lived in those countries, so they brought all those recipes to Israel.
