S550 is already an amazing car all around, inside and out to those that have driven them. S63 makes it complete with the AMG engine. What an terrific car
I just bought this car, very nice review and dead on about the prowess of this car. My only complaint is it drinks gas like water but you only live once.
I wish this channel had more popularity. you're doing an amazing job i love your reviews. just awesome straight forward honest guy, thank you! but you seemed floored (kinda disappointed of your self) by this and i can't blame you:P hey do it as Tavarish from Jalopnik?? one last thing how do you think it compares to Audi S8 in terms of power and presence? i love the look more.
Lovely footage! Some free advice (that may be worth exactly that): A little more variation in the music would be nice, or at least dip it a little while you're speaking. Thanks!
Just drove the TESLA P90D through Brentwood Hills. My god... that's the fastest 4 door sedan on the planet. I will never buy another Mercedes or BMW again. Save the money, buy this one, and have enough left for two 18K gold Rolex watches.
I watched a Tesla on the Autobahn vid the other day. The clip was ca 7 minutes, and within that short period, the car could only stay above 200 to 250 kmh for three short spells, as the batteries would get hot, the car dramatically losing power and it simply has that power as a 'novelty', it does not really work. Well, maybe in America, where everybody likes to have insane power on paper, but can never really drive anyway... and so it is that no US car can actually perform. Vettes overheat after 15 minutes, Hellcats after 20 (says the manufacturer), and Tesla after 2... and omg, every time I go to the Tesla show room, which I do often, as it is in the local mall, I cannot get over that half-assed interior, I wouldn't accept that in any car - it would never cross my mind to buy such a pos. And then the quality issues. US consumer organisations now actually warn against buying Tesla because of its lousy build quality... all in all a typical American car. See, that is where that money for the Rolex goes when you buy a Mercedes, let alone AMG.
Baerchenization The P100D just came out and it's much better at cooling then previous models. These issues can all be solved just like combustion engines had in their beginning with leaks, fuel fires and overheating. EVs are in their infancy. But keep in mind Mercedes and BMW already sell and are coming out more versions of all electric Tesla competitors. Porsche and Audi are doing the same thanks to Musk's award wining top seller in class Model S.....so what does that tell you??
That's all well and good. Does not take away anything from my point though. Btw, Mercedes has like a 30% share in Tesla ;) Tesla is a premium product, or at least has a premium price tag; don't you come here and present the early days of the combustion engine - and industrialisation altogether!! - as a mitigating factoid. This shit has to work as advertised, no pussy footing around that.
Actually Mercedes sold their stake in Telsa two years ago at a killer profit. Tesla grew so big and fast, Mercedes realized it was no longer a take over target, so unloading was necessary. So far Tesla advertises only 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile times which it does achieve easily. 2016 version have better cooling and longer distance. So it's amazingly suitable for daily urban and highway driving.
You should never take a review from a person who has only driven this Mercedes Benz S63 once or hasn't shelled out the $165K expecting to get there moneys worth. Yea its pretty with sexy exhaust tones but it ends there. I have a 2014 version of the Mercedes Benz S63 and its been in the dealership 14 times and for 55 days total. Very noisy inside compared to the standard S550. It rides rough. It makes all kinds of noise from the front end, burns a ton of oil, consumes antifreeze the brakes constantly squeak and they dump break dust over the wheels so bad the car looks filthy 3 days after being cleaned. The best part is MBUSA says its normal and will not fix it. They say its normal and point to sections of the owners manual that say that say so and I was supose to read it before getting evolved with this thing. My advise, stay away. MBUSA couldn't care about you.

Don't be misled and buy this $165k mistake. This is the worst MB I've ever owned
My boss just bought the S63, and takes us out for lunch in it periodically. let me tell you, the backseat is THE PLACE to be.
Michael Azari Luckyyyy

Shame it doesn't come with 4Matic, though.

BEST review on the Internet. Best car in the world!
BEST REVIEW ON UA-cam EVER PERIOD OUTSTANDING WORK REALLY.
Could have also mentioned the fact that it scans the road and adjusts the suspension in anticipation of down to a 1/4" variation.
Amazing technology!
I just bought this car, very nice review and dead on about the prowess of this car. My only complaint is it drinks gas like water but you only live once.

Imagine you can buy this car now at 20-30% of its original price tag.

+David MuscleGuy Much MUCH more power and presence than the S8... and I say that as a fan of the A8/S8. -JG
Very good review! You where talking about the massage-function. Which other cars were you thinking of that had better massaging seats?

+computiNATEor Agreed. Good call.
How is this hooning?
S-class is a benchmark,like 911 of luxury cars.
+Mickey Mike Agreed
There's a difference between doing a video and loving a car......you love that machine. Does it come with the parking assist function?
i have this but why so many s class including mine and this one, have body pannels that are out of line, yet many much cheaper cars dont ?
BTW, good video. I enjoy my S600 tremendously.
Imo, the only S-class worth buying for is when you put in the executive seat upgrades
But U cant fuck with them
Nice review Amg is the best
Huntington Beach 🍻
great review!
Thank you
c63 amg review anytime soon ?
nice review.
The search for more torque cost AMG consumers heavily in the 06-08 years.
Nice car But one question this S63 or the S65 AMG ?!??
+mrgjk01 I'd really need to drive the S65 to see if it's worth the extra coin... I suspect it's not.
+The Hooniverse thanks for answering mate :D
is that anthracite grey
think so
the backseat is the same as front seat 😅
Would definitely buy one for my next car, however I'm moving away from the 4-door market into the 2-door.
+richzilla08 They make a two-door version! And it's gorgeous -JG
Can you guys review a Ferrari
Actually, the S63 AMG IS available in a 2 door coupe.
Bermester, no "i" in Bermester stereo.
I will take the E63 Wagon instead, thank you.

Very quick indeed, but that will never compare to the S-class' luxury and build quality/materials. Which is alnist the point of this car.

Dude you say this on like every other mercedes video.
If s63 is the best, how about s65?
slower to 60 and top speed, the 63 handels the best cause it can be 4 wheel drive
All MB look ugly from behind.

Great review. I love the passion!
