Lisa, when I’m watching your videos I fell “sleepy”, but in a good way. I love your expertise, the tone of your voice, and how delicate you are to do everything. In the middle of this madness named “makeup’s gurus”, you are our breath of fresh air... so beautiful, so relaxing, so professionally educational... thanks darling for your precious time and generosity. As always, tones of love from Brazil.
Finding out that the Queen herself can't tight line without tearing up just as I can't tight line without tearing up made my inner 16 yr old self feel so much better about herself 🙌🙌🙌
You should try swiping a q-tip under the lid to get rid of the wateriness and moisture before tight lining. I have very sensitive eyes so I tear up easily, but this tip helps!
I honestly think that this is where the magic of make up as an art form is. It’s so much more concept and thoughtful application than just “putting it on”. Makes you want to get a beautiful vanity mirror and spritz on some perfume after you finish.
I feel Teds message here is “for the love of God will you just go out so I can have the house to myself.” “Here you are - Glasses, bag, scarf now leave - please” 😂😂😂
I would love to see it, I really suck at doing makeup especially with hooded eyes, I don't know how to deal with things. I'm trying to learn applying it during quarantine 😅
Let alone you give us a no makeup cat eye to die for. Loved every second - but the Ted style mash at the end! What a bonus! Totally made this isolating so much damn fun! All I can say is “ more please!” Thanks Lisa 🙏 ❤️
I think this is exactly the makeup look I was looking for today. Just got myself dressed and walked the dog (yeah, it's almost 1pm here in the eastern U.S., but whatever LOL). Couldn't decide if I wanted to put anything on today, but. a light cat eye look sounds perfect. Thanks, Lisa!!
That’s around the time I’ve been doing my makeup each day 🤣 and a few hours later it’s time to take it off.. but hey, I feel good for those few hours 😁👍
Ted is so bold and unapologetic in everything he does, including fashion styling. Oh, to have that kind of confidence! Thank you, Lisa, for another wonderful and truly useful video. You gave me exactly what I wanted to see!
OMG- Ted is hilarious! I want to thank you for your work. I am a trauma therapist and in between Zoom sessions, I watched this. The techniques are awesome and your voice is very soothing... helped me regroup for the next session. Stay well!
My cat eye was a fail on these hooded eyes (from birth, not age) but that is fine. Between Lisa and Mary Greenwell I've learned so much. First, that my eyes are fine. I just need to learn how to do makeup the way that suits them as they are. I love that Lisa talks about the differences between her eyes without worrying about it. From this video and trying it out on myself I learned to focus the shadow higher than I had been, it doesn't need to go all the way across. This solves the problem of sometimes looking bruised if it is too dark on the outside. I learned from Mary (I think?) already to put the liner on the waterline. SO HELPFUL! From this video I decided to try all the way around including the inner corners. Love it! Being free from the idea that I had to make my eyes look bigger has allowed me to let my small eyes be pretty.
Love the makeup and the styling. So close to a "Desperately Seeking Susan" vibe...separately you're not sure but together it magically works. Quite the eye Ted has for sure. 🥰
That is one of my favorite eyeshadow techniques - I have really deep set hooded eyes, so i started sweeping outward as opposed to rounding it to try and open up my eyes a bit. Its a really great technique for my eyes! I love to really blow out the eyeshadow as well. I'm crazy for blown out blushy looks.
Whenever I try to elongate the shape of my eye I could never figure out what I was doing wrong. You’ve made it so simple to deconstruct how to do it. Thank you.
Thanks Lisa for all that you do...I’ve watched some of your techniques, and applied them on myself and others. Everyone loves em. You know what works, and how to make the techniques simple and pretty.
One of my cats is obsessed with watching me groom myself. She joins in sometimes too. Both cats have their own makeup brush that they like being stroked with (without makeup, of course). I've never considered getting them to pick out my accessories though.
your videos are soothing and a joy to me, so I am more than thrilled to watch it! thank you so much dear Lisa for this wonderful content you are offering us. hope everything is ok with you and your family. xoxo from France
This video has brought me so much joy. Thank you Lisa for the best Cat Eye tutorial I have seen so far, and thank you Ted for your daring, fashion forward styling and your inspirational talks.
I love everything about this video. It’s so refreshing to see you in your own home just talking to the camera like we’re all girlfriends getting ready together. And it was lovely to get to see a different more casual laid back Lisa.
Always have love the cat eye. During this quarantine it appears I’ve become the cat lady with multiple cats strutting their stuff past my patio doors while drinking my morning coffee. Missing my feline boy for the past 4yrs. Ted is so chic
Love Ted. And his talks. Also love this video topic. I liked the lighter makeup tutorials that enhance without being obvious. Well done Ted & Lisa. So fun!
She is indeed my FAVORITE make up tutor, so far. Funny, informative, clear, great tips, and itemized products. Well done. Love the 'no make up cat eye look' !
Ok, so I tried this look this morning...it took some tweeking because that eyebrow bone on me is all the way down to my lid so couldn't do the wing. And the color on the top took some blending before it looked like yours. But after all that...I think its my new go to look. Thanks so much for the video!
During Ted’s talk, my Red Heeler, Eddy, not only took notice, he acknowledged Ted by throwing his head back and giving a short howl/bay! My husband was tickled and made me replay Ted’s talk several times to have Eddy repeat his performance! Good times!
Hi, Lisa, you are a joy to watch how to do our eyes, I love how you are explaining how to do each section of the face very relaxing to watch and learn from you. Thank you so much.
Ted has the best pet parent in you. You nurture his creativity and show us his inner designer! Made me smile and laugh. A very enjoyable video. I learned more make up technique, too. Will be trying it out. Thank you. Stay safe.
This was really helpful, thank you so much Lisa! I never really knew how to shadow the orbital bone properly to push it back. This is so important for deep set eyes, and very often my eyes looked even deeper, because I drew the line to far as you said. I think "natural cat-eyes" are a great idea.for lockdown times.
Thank you Lisa for all your videos. Not only does it teach me a great deal about the art of colour and shape. But, it helps me feel human in a world of covid-19, social distancing, masks, and the new order of things!! Again thank you.
I’ve never paid such close attention to a tutorial in my life! I’ve never seen this approach to a cat eye! I cannot wait to try it ! Like, I already have my makeup on but I’m about to take it off & give this a go! I just LOVE all you do! Cant get enough of the so very understated but striking looks. & you are a masterful teacher. You break everything down so well & explain in such a way that I TRULY understand how to do a technique. Not only that but, I know WHY! I’m so excited to try this!
You are a true artist. I adore your technique, application, love for color, you're mesmerizing to watch! Like you're conducting an orchestra only with brushes and pencils ha. Such a refreshing contrast to influencers. Then you get weird with your cat...I truly do love you.
Your scientific approach combined with a personality that makes even the longest videos feel like pure relaxation has literally changed my life. I am such a nerd, and have always felt ridiculous trying to use makeup. I really can't express the gift it is to be given access to what feels like basic female skills. I wonder if there's a Lisa Eldridge of clothing.
Ted is a cat whose story will be told by other cats for eons to go. And after several generations, his story will become legend, and the legend, ultimately will become myth.
Ted might be the greatest cat that ever sashayed this planet. He's a genius. More Ted Talks, please! And this is coming from a crazy dog lady. Fantastic tutorial, thank you x
You’re a mind reader, I was playing around with my makeup last night trying to get this look but my deep set eyes were just not having it. I’ll try again now. Sending all the cuddles to Ted for his contributions.
Yes!!! Love it. Did it in Grey, plum or brown on daily basis the last two weeks. Sometimes with eyeshadow, sometimes just the pencil. Beautiful lifting effect!!! Thank you. 🥰
I always learn so much from your tutorials. I could watch hundreds of others and never learn what you taught in fifteen minutes. Absolute professional genius! Bravo and your voice is so relaxing and easy to listen to. What I wouldn’t give to have you as my personal makeup artist daily! Hey a girl can dream lol. Awe and Ted. Teds fashion sense is brilliant! Lol
My cat has also been bringing me various accessories over the last few weeks and today he brought me one of my face masks. I think this was his way of telling me to leave and go outside so he can have the place to himself.
LOL, I was watching her do her thing while Ted was carrying on and thinking, "how the hell is she not laughing!" Just then, she suppressed a laugh so as not to mess up the look. CRACKED. ME. UP. 😂🤣😂🤣
This video was so helpful Lisa! I have been doing a cat eye in myself for as long as I can remember and people always compliment on my makeup. But lately, as I have grown a little older, a full cat eye looks too heavy for every day use. And the trick of using a pencil and eyeshadow only on the inner and outer corner of the eyes, instead of the whole upper eyelid, has really made my eyes pop and it doesn’t look heavy and tired!
My cat was sleeping next to me and he woke up as soon Ted started talking, my cat agreed with everything Ted said 😌👏🏻👏🏻
My cat as well! :))
yuyugo62 my girl 🐈has been very vocal during lockdown 🙉
My cat was awake by me and started meowing, too! 😸
mine, too! what the heck was he saying to them?
My cat did the same thing 😆😺
Lisa, when I’m watching your videos I fell “sleepy”, but in a good way. I love your expertise, the tone of your voice, and how delicate you are to do everything. check jungsaeemool too she is gold
Whooops. Hopefully not Occipital bone - perhaps Orbital bone?
Agreed- Lisa's voice is very soothing.
Same here! I have sometimes put her videos on to fall asleep to☺️☁️💤
Yep! It's been years that I've been watching Lisa as an ASMR content way before ASMR was a thing.
I close my eyes and just shove the liner in 😂 it does the top & bottom together!
I can do something she cant, I can do something she cant?!!!! Ahhhh! Hahaha😝😂😍
Thank you for mentioning people with hooded eyes. I feel like sometimes with makeup tutorials we get left out or forgotten about.
Anyone else get delighted when they got the wee UA-cam notification that Lisa had a new video uploaded? :) The things that get you through lockdown!
Update: killing myself laughing at the Ted styling. He has class!
Yes and I instantly click like
Yes. Very delighted
Absolutely!
Glittery Spandangle I’m so excited. It makes my day. She’s the best!
Ted's styling and Lisa's makeup prowess and elegance is a combination made in heaven. Enjoyed this so much :) Much love from Australia x

Lisa doing makeup is 90% considerate thought and 10% action.
And the greatness of her results show that 👑
I honestly think that this is where the magic of make up as an art form is. It’s so much more concept and thoughtful application than just “putting it on”. Makes you want to get a beautiful vanity mirror and spritz on some perfume after you finish.
Ted is clearly an advocate of more-is-more. Definitely my kind of stylist 😂
This tutorial and Lisa showing off all of Ted’s accessory picks have revitalized my soul. It’s been a tough week.
My cat and I were very delighted to hear this Ted talk and I would really appreciate a Ted styling session, if possible! xo
I feel Teds message here is “for the love of God will you just go out so I can have the house to myself.”
“Here you are - Glasses, bag, scarf now leave - please” 😂😂😂
Lisa, you’re such a classy lady. Love all your knowledge and thoughtfulness.
I find that with my hooded eyes not only this technique is easier but also way more flattering. So thank you master💓💓
Loved this video. Variations on “no makeup makeup” are always my favorite. And I loved the step-by-step walk through
I think this is exactly the makeup look I was looking for today. Just got myself dressed and walked the dog (yeah, it's almost 1pm here in the eastern U.S., but whatever LOL). Couldn't decide if I wanted to put anything on today, but. a light cat eye look sounds perfect. Thanks, Lisa!!

Nobody was gonna know that until you clarified
Ashpyxiating that’s obviously what made my comment funny 😂
That’s been my life lately, lol. But the mood boost it gives me is exactly what I need right now.
2 million! I was watching one video & it was 1.9 M & switched to another & now 2M! Congratulations! So well deserved!
Ted is so bold and unapologetic in everything he does, including fashion styling. Oh, to have that kind of confidence! Thank you, Lisa, for another wonderful and truly useful video. You gave me exactly what I wanted to see!
cats are so amazing. I love Ted’s taste and fashion and accessorizing. You are so lucky to have such an amazing cat ❤️
OMG- Ted is hilarious! I want to thank you for your work. I am a trauma therapist and in between Zoom sessions, I watched this. The techniques are awesome and your voice is very soothing... helped me regroup for the next session. Stay well!
Ted ....love this. Nothing boring about ted, no neutrals, basics for him. Bling, bling and more bling.
I feel so validated watching her pull her eye. I need to do that in order to put any liner on even though the skin care gods say it is horrible.
My cat eye was a fail on these hooded eyes (from birth, not age) but that is fine. Between Lisa and Mary Greenwell I've learned so much. First, that my eyes are fine. haha... that little snort.... cracked me up.💖💖💖🌈 ted's an ICON.
Hands down, my favorite Lisa tutorial! Classy, seamless beauty WITH the best Ted talk ever. Bravo!
Love the makeup and the styling. So close to a "Desperately Seeking Susan" vibe...separately you're not sure but together it magically works. Quite the eye Ted has for sure. 🥰

Seeing this video notification made my day! I love this look, Lisa! Simple but high impact. Thanks for continuing to raise all of our spirits ❤️❤️❤️

This video has brought me so much joy. Thank you Lisa for the best Cat Eye tutorial I have seen so far, and thank you Ted for your daring, fashion forward styling and your inspirational talks.
🤣 Love the cat eye...but absolutely adore Ted's accessorizing! 😹
I love everything about this video. It’s so refreshing to see you in your own home just talking to the camera like we’re all girlfriends getting ready together. And it was lovely to get to see a different more casual laid back Lisa.
This saved my life! This quarantine is brutal some days and this film was sunshine on this cloudy rainy New York day!
I love your simple makeup videos that go into fine technical detail. They've always been pure gold and I never tire of them.
you are my favorite person for any and all makeup technique, and this is exactly what i have been hoping for! thank you!
The precision and care you take over applying make up is just the best. So many “mua’s” should take note..
I love this look; the humor was icing on the cake (don’t tell Ted that I laughed at him)
Oh, I LOVE your "Ted Talks!" How adorable!
This natural cat eye look is so beautiful on you! 🐈🐾💄💅
Love you, Lisa! I knew you were talented, but I didn't know you had such a sense of humour! Loved the styling by ted!
Always have love the cat eye. During this quarantine it appears I’ve become the cat lady with multiple cats strutting their stuff past my patio doors while drinking my morning coffee. Missing my feline boy for the past 4yrs. Ted is so chic
When your mum asks ‘why are you putting make up on when you’re not going anywhere?’ And you have to tell her because Lisa uploaded 😬😬😬
Lisa Eldridge made me do it
This is literally me right now!
Because @LisaEldrige said so and really, because when we look better, we feel better!
she is a good example for young girls. Elegance and class is the need of the hour
Love Ted. And his talks. Also love this video topic. I liked the lighter makeup tutorials that enhance without being obvious. Well done Ted & Lisa. So fun!
Ted needs his own channel - that purrsonality is much too large.
The Purrsuit of Elegance, by Ted Eldridge
Ted Talks...😂 I’d watch that Tedtalk for sure!
She is indeed my FAVORITE make up tutor, so far. Funny, informative, clear, great tips, and itemized products.
Well done. Love the 'no make up cat eye look' !
Ted is quite the stylist!! Loved this, Lisa! 🐱💗 Lisa
Thank you Xx

Lisa in a leopard-print top, with her beautiful cat, doing a cateye: I call this perfection
We can call it purrfection 🐱
This is fantastic. Often I don't want to wear foundation but I like having my brows and eyes done
During Ted’s talk, my Red Heeler, Eddy, not only took notice, he acknowledged Ted by throwing his head back and giving a short howl/bay! My husband was tickled and made me replay Ted’s talk several times to have Eddy repeat his performance! Good times!
So great and quite amusing the Ted portion!!! Loved the shading explanation and the final buffing. The cuff Lisa! I want.
Love that you're wearing a cheetah printed top for this catish eye look 😻
Virginia Sanchez that’s Leopard. Cheetahs have only little spots.Yes, I‘m fun at parties
Hi, Lisa, you are a joy to watch how to do our eyes, I love how you are explaining how to do each section of the face very relaxing to watch and learn from you. Thank you so much.
I actually cried laughing with the ending. Ted, you're brilliant.
Ted has the best pet parent in you. You nurture his creativity and show us his inner designer! Made me smile and laugh. A very enjoyable video. I learned more make up technique, too. Will be trying it out. Thank you. Stay safe.

Chocolatey voice, diva cat, and makeup masterclass all in one gorgeous video 😻😻😻😻
I’ve never paid such close attention to a tutorial in my life! I’ve never seen this approach to a cat eye! I cannot wait to try it ! I always think your home looks so chic and beautiful whenever we get a glimpse of it.
so ted is handsome and good with words and colors. he's the whole package.
You are a true artist. I adore your technique, application, love for color, you're mesmerizing to watch! Like you're conducting an orchestra only with brushes and pencils ha. Such a refreshing contrast to influencers. Then you get weird with your cat...I truly do love you.
Beautifully done, as always. Can’t wait to wear this look around the house 😂
I have very hooded (think completely hidden eyelid when I look straight ahead) and very deep set eyes, and this look really flatters my natural shape!
Lisa's version of a 'foxie' eye!
So chic ❤
Your scientific approach combined with a personality that makes even the longest videos feel like pure relaxation has literally changed my life. I am such a nerd, and have always felt ridiculous trying to use makeup. I really can't express the gift it is to be given access to what feels like basic female skills.
I wonder if there's a Lisa Eldridge of clothing.
Somehow, the sunglasses tied the whole look together. Even though it does hide the gorgeous cat eye makeup application.
I love the understated makeup with Ted's impressive styling! I've been looking for a cat with his tastes for quite some time.
The most hilarious part is "teds been doing a lot of styling lately....this one sounds quite dramatic"
You are literally asmr for makeup tutorials. You are literally one of my fave makeup artists ever ✨
I love how Ted looked quite pissed of to be on camera, but decided halfway through to steal the show anyways by serenading us! 🤣 ❤️✌🏻
Loved watching this makeup look, it’s one of my fav so far and I enjoyed listening to Ted’s styling skills. The final result was fun to see

Ted is a GENIUS!!! You look fabulous, dahling!
Ted might be the greatest cat that ever sashayed this planet. He's a genius. More Ted Talks, please! And this is coming from a crazy dog lady. Fantastic tutorial, thank you x
The lethal duo of the best make-up artist and the best stylist in the world ❤️❤️
I’ve watched a lot of cat eye tutorials and this is by far the most helpful. I’ll definitely be practicing:)
Thanks so very much, love🍃🌸
Thank you Lisa for sharing your knowledge with us along with a glimpse into your life with the wonderful Ted. Such a pleasant surprise this time!
Ted’s styling - very over the top! My feline Zoe and my Shorkie, Chewy were giving me strange expressions as they listened to the talkative Ted!
You truly are the definition of beauty and grace.
Other UA-camrs: Here's a Bella Hadid glam foxy eye tutorial!!
Lisa Eldridge: Here's how to do that, but make it no-makeup makeup
I also use the Marc Jacobs Highliner, it's amazing for a natural look. Love that product
Thank you. 🥰
Ted has a wonderful eye and feel. Love his choice of the celvet headband. Sweet.
Lol
I love how you’ve been doing Duas makeup!! She’s so lucky to have someone like you doing her face✨🌙💕xx
I love all of your videos, but I think this one is my favorite! I've worn this look to work and it's very fashionable, yet subtle...thank you!
My cat has also been bringing me various accessories over the last few weeks and today he brought me one of my face masks. I think this was his way of telling me to leave and go outside so he can have the place to himself.
Where has this tutorial been my whole makeup-wearing life??? Thank you SO MUCH!
Lisa I would love to see this makeup done on an older very hooded eye when you can, and I love your Ted styling, classic 😆❤️
Love this makeup video, where you go through how to create almond shape eye look. I have been waiting for you to this video😊and Ted is so adorable😻
LOL, I was watching her do her thing while Ted was carrying on and thinking, "how the hell is she not laughing!" Just then, she suppressed a laugh so as not to mess up the look. CRACKED. ME. UP. 😂🤣😂🤣
Me too!!!! Lol - I was laughing so hard I had tears!
