If it makes you feel better most good makeup videos get about 2% thumbs down in comparison to thumbs up. Lisa’s get 1%. Although I think it’s crazy to thumbs down these, I can still see the rate is very small. Sometimes people can’t afford the products, don’t like the model, annoyed because the model already looks great without makeup, get offended by something silly….. you never know with people!

Yes! Many 1940s, 1950s tutorials are not very authentic. They don't get the lip shape right, they use winged eyeliner for every look, etc. I wish Lisa would make a series of vintage looks.
SAME I loved the Marilyn Monroe video and Lisa explained the whole look and the story behind the development of the signature look, the relationship between Marilyn and her makeup artist, it was so exciting!
I can only imagine how satisfying it is as a makeup artist to create a perfect look on such a lovely model. I was already in love with the look upon seeing the thumbnail, but when you did the final reveal with the hair all done up, I literally gasped (with hand on mouth and everything). Whenever I find myself getting ready for a special occasion I find myself here- with you. Not only for inspiration but for company, too. Make-up is something reserved for special occasions like weddings or birthday parties, and I love the whole feeling the makeup lends to the day. My children notice right away when I've done something, and always hang around me, admiring the colors or shapes. It's a mood elevator I only indulge in now and again, but damn it's so fun. @@Daniela-ez7ry Usually on the top part of the cheekbones. But Lisa did it quite closer to the blush on the cheeks, as she said to give more volume on the cheeks!

Amazing! So wonderful to see a natural look that is not all brown tones on a person of colour who wears the same shade of foundation as me. I need that lipstick. It would be good to see how much foundation you apply to your hand first though
