I mean there are clear shirts, you just put nice bra underneath... same thing with this no pigment foundation, you can add a little bit of concelear on more problematic areas
If I’m going to take the time to put a product on my face, I want it to do something. No spf, no evening out skin tone.... not sure if there is any benefit to using it. 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Allie! Makes me think of "The Emperor's Mew Clothes!" Would you ever do a full face of Bobbi Brown, like you did with Charlotte T.? These are my FAVE videos!!!!
Dear Becca.... Foundation is NOT a primer. foundation is for cover and even your skin color. Cause not all of us have models skin you know. And for those overprices Becca have they should give us something better than a drugstore primer please!
Lmao I swear. I have perfect skin with no blemishes or scars, and buying this feels like such a waste of money for ANYONE. With skin like mine, I would just wear some mattifying powder, because I have oily skin, and that's that. I never use any base products anyway because it's unnecessary
Personally, I don’t get it... if a person had perfectly flawless skin, I could see it. It will be interesting to see how it works as a primer, but it’s not for me. You are such a trooper for trying out all this makeup. I respect and value your opinions 💞🌸
I’m wondering how it would look side by side with Tachas silk primer. I use that when my clients want cero foundation and it looks beautiful when applying the rest of makeup on top.
The new liquid one or the older potted one? I don't wear foundation or any type of coverage products but I do like the look of blurred pores and such and to have something on my face under the rest of my makeup and so I just bought the new Tatcha in the liquid version and hoping it gives me what I want!
Kelly Oliveira I use the OG one (the potted one). My clients have LOVED it. For them it’s like getting new skin! Since I’m used to makeup it’s hard for me to see a difference but they sure can tell and love it.
Wut?? Clear foundation?? What is this witchcraft hahaha I really love how the finish makeup look turned out!! The natural pigmentation of your skin with your bronzer/blush and that highlight looks so fresh and natural ! But you can probably achieve this kind of look without a clear foundation haha I've been loving the look of leaving some of my skin texture show through my foundation lately !!
Omg I was so excited when I got this notification because I was watching Jen Luvs Reviews review this😅. So excited to watch the video have a wonderful day!❤❤
Foundation is more to even out tone and improve the appearance of your complexion. A full coverage foundation is meant to cover everything but light to medium foundations don’t serve that purpose. Concealer is to cover things up (to conceal) but you’re right that for most people it would require color to even skin out.
@@GW-gz8jh Yes, sure. I wear a light coverage foundation, but a foundation is still meant to provide some coverage. This is just a marketing ploy and it seems like a primer... You don't really need a clear foundation. You can just buy a nice primer or moisturizer that will do the same thing more or less. These companies should just release shades that match darker skin tones instead of trying to find a nonsense "universal product" solution. That's just my opinion.
Alexandra Arendse I agree with all that regarding the product. Just stating foundation isn’t meant to completely conceal unless you’re using full coverage. That’s what a concealer is for.
Hahaha 😆💕 I feel you!! It should have been marketed differently! If it was marketed as a primer or skin blurring product, it wouldn’t be so confusing or disappointing 😅
I’ve been wearing a full face of makeup without foundation (only pore filling primer, some concealer and translucent powder) for years. More people need to try it! You’ll be surprised with how beautiful you look!
I really like how you gave this product a fair chance by going ahead with your other products and doing a full look. I've seen a few reviews saying this is not a foundation, it's just a primer, but they haven't actually gone and tried the product as they would a typical foundation. I actually think you looked great. Not sure if I'd buy it but I do love a fresh faced look.
Can we talk about the magnetic close on the lip balm? I would love for Allie to do a video compilation showing up close all the products that she owns with that satisfying type of packaging
as someone who only uses a primer + concealer and never a foundation im very interested in this product! love how it looked on you, thank you for the review♡
@@nancydavis7499 it clearly works similarly to a primer, i would replace my current primer with this product once i run out and simply continue my routine as usual :) if skipping purchasing cosmetics to donate to organizations gives u a sense of moral superiority, be my guest!
I think it was rather rude of him. If you don't like a product, there are elegant ways of expressing your dislike. Take Allie for example, such a classy way of conveying her opinions, she's the sweetest!!
Aura Topan I agree! I went and watched his review and I was a little shook! He’s usually not quite so harsh! Allie can find something positive to say about anything and that’s how we all should be!
Hands down, the most beautiful look I’ve seen on you, Allie 😊 I loved how glowy and natural everything looked. This, to me, is definitely a no makeup makeup look and it’s beautiful. Will definitely be trying it.
Becca should be embarrassed, who at Becca thought that we would fall for this? This is a scam! This is a giant tub of primer. Also that gloss is too sticky for the face, a balm is better for that. Becca really out here thinking we are not going to call them out for this mess. They need to fix themselves quick. *Love you Allie, nothing against you, I know you are just doing your job reviewing stuff and even though I have zero interest in this product I watched the video to support you. 💜
I can’t wait for the clear foundation to arrive to Spain! I really don’t wear foundation on an everyday basis, in fact, I ‘ve got real trouble finding my color, but I do correct my very dark under eyes everyday. I’ve had them as far as I can remember, and I’m 53 now, so I have quite a good practice with concealers over skin -with no foundation- but I think this foundation would really help me to blend everything more smoothly. Thanks for this fabulous video!
Oh please don't if you mean the "highlight" aka clear lip gloss and "pigment free foundation" aka blurring primer. Vaseline or any thicker balm is great as a highlight on the cheeks and what makeup artists have used since forever so no need to let Becca steal from you. Also that "foundation" is literally primer, there are so many amazing ones at better prices and from companies who aren't trying to scam people. I'm a huge fan of laying down a blurring primer and then a glowy one over that and a little mascara for my basic every day look so I'm not coming at you from a full face of glam perspective at all. Btw I love Allie, none of this is against Allie, she is doing her job reviewing things.
@@gsd715 Would you mind sharing what blurring primer and glowy primers you use? I did notice that the Becca product helped with decrease some of the redness that Allie had, which is what I'm primarily looking for.
@@gsd715 actually if she wants to keep the natural look of her skin and just wants a little something to hydrate and cover her pores, I think using it as a foundation isn't a bad idea
HiThere why you gotta be so negative? If she wants to try the collection she should! I’m interested in trying it too. And I would never put straight up Vaseline all over my face, that just sounds like clogged pores to me.
This is just me, you can do whatever makes you happy, but I think the Purito Centella Unscented Sun sunscreen or the biore uv aqua watery essence would be better options. They’re beautiful and glowy and moisturizing. You can barely feel them and they provide SPF 50 PA ++++. Love them and you and I seem to go for a similar everyday look. Just products that make me feel beautiful and protect my skin that I thought you might enjoy.
This is exactly what I'm looking for!!! After being home for 4 months, when I go out, I'm not going to wear foundation any more! I'm 56 so foundation, even good foundation, still looks makeupy. This made your skin look fantastic! Love it. Thank you for posting it.
I think it's great for people who really don't like a lot of makeup on a daily basis but still like to look nice for work or going to the store. Because like you did adding a few other bits to it it looks pretty nice for a very natural look! And I think it gives a nice glow 😊
I'm excited to try it! It fills a gap in the makeup industry! I'm usually a FULL GLAM OR BUST girl but I have to wear a mask to work so I've been testing light weight products that won't irritate my skin under the mask but still give me that boost it confidence. Sooo interesting!
Maybe for those with perfect skin that need just a little something. I’m currently wearing something that used to be call face perfector and now is being market as a primer, because with wearing a face mask for 8hr+, foundation is a no-no, so i wonder. The highlighter is beautiful and I wonder how it will wear on a mature skin.
as a person who's not blessed with clear skin, imma stick to my full coverage foundation 😂 (although if i do have clear skin this would definitely be interesting to try out!)
I think I like this new type of foundation from Becca. I can see it even out the overall hyperpigmentation on your face; when you finish the makeup look, the foundation already even out the base color. I also love the look from that highlighter, best product that make glass skin effect I've ever seen!

Saw this on trendmood and actually was really intrigued, I only wear tinted moisturizer now because my skin has gotten a lot better in the past few years. I also like the idea of not having to worry about the foundation moving into my smile lines or having to check the mirror as often! I still am not completely sold on it but verrrrry interested
I feel like you could get the same look by smearing some porefessional on over like smashbox primer water or something. No point in purchasing this imo. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for trying it out for us though 😊
Allie!!!! Your skin looks so good! I loved the simple make up look it is super similar to how I do my makeup, with skin care and a bit of concealer blush and mascara! You totally pulled that look off ❤️ thank u for reviewing this super crazy new product!
I honestly loved it! Im a teen who doesn't like wearing tons of pigment and I found that this diffused my acne, blurred my pores, and even out redness on my cheeks.
I’ve been following you for a while now and I had to stop the video to comment: this light makeup looks so pretty on you ♥️ This is absolutely my fav look, so fresh, youthful & natural .. gorgeous and I can’t wait to buy that foundation once it’s out 😍
Allie I’m always just so distracted by your beautiful NAILS. I would love to see a nail polish collection video! And how to you keep your nails strong? Do you wear acrylics or are those your natural nails? I NEED YOUR NAILS SECRETS
I think Becca looked at all the people complaining about foundation shades/tones and said we give up, can’t make everyone in the world happy, and came up with this. No one can say this is not all color inclusive
What the actual crap. Hunny you are my new favorite UA-cam oh my gawd I don’t know what it is about you but it’s so nice to watch and it’s like I dunno perfect Like it’s ACTUAL makeup and not shade and drama and it’s incredibly soothing and friendly like thank you so freaking much💗 Btw I really like this foundation and I might buy it because it’s super light and pretty and looks comfortable and natural 👍🏻

Great review! I love how this product made your skin look natural, yet perfected. You are a beauty, but we know you have some skin concerns. This made you look like your very best - “I woke up this way look”.... and at the end of your day you still looked fresh and natural. As an artist, we know that a natural look is the most tough to pull off. End of day we can just look natural, tired, and like we didn’t even try. This amazing product keeps the natural look and keeps it there all day. Very impressed. Probably not your, nor my every day go-to, but this is lovely. Thanks again!
I saw no difference on your complexion whatsoever, and if you had perfect skin why would you even bother? Personally not worth it at all. Interesting concept but it’s just marketing for what basically seems like a primer.
I just ordered this and should be here Monday!! I guess I'm one of the few that can't wait to try!! I'm 35, my face doesn't have many imperfections. I stopped wearing full face makeup going on 2 years now, because I invested in skin care.As I got older I didn't really like the full face makeup on me anymore. I usually just do my serums,my Tatcha water cream moisturizer, I use bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base, then sometimes Tatcha liquid primer.on dress up day's I add becca pressed highlighter on my cheek bones and becca under eye corrector( under my no sleep mom eyes) I also like strip lashes. So I think this is a product I will love..I will do a review once I get it!! I am mixed black and white and 35,so we'll see how it works on my skin type and age group
You look beautiful, Allie. I feel like if they would’ve marketed it as a primer, people would’ve used it as such-as a “before foundation” product. Most primers do include in their directions that they can be used alone or under a foundation, so I feel like Becca is putting the label “foundation” on it to encourage it to be used alone. For me, I feel like this would be great to use exactly how you did, with maybe some concealer between my jaw and cheekbone so there is a layer of perfecting pigment there after I’ve applied my cheek products. It’s nice because the cheeks have such minimal product without the pigmented base, so the skin looks that much more natural while still holding the color from the blush and bronzer. Very glad you did this review, I think you look gorgeous with or without product on your face, but this was a fun change to see.

Angie Burgs, who’s a wonderful cosmetic chemist & does UA-cam videos, said the “foundation” was “the emperors new clothes”! She is SO right! 😂
Wayne Goss said the same thing & said the lip/face gloss was just glorified Vaseline! 😂😂😂
This is a HARD PASS for me! 😳 but I love ya for trying it for us. 🥰

This makes as much sense to me as a clear shirt. There's a reason I want certain items to cover certain body parts.
🤣🤣🤣you made me laugh!best comment😂
I mean there are clear shirts, you just put nice bra underneath... same thing with this no pigment foundation, you can add a little bit of concelear on more problematic areas
If I’m going to take the time to put a product on my face, I want it to do something. No spf, no evening out skin tone.... not sure if there is any benefit to using it. 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Allie! Makes me think of "The Emperor's Mew Clothes!" Would you ever do a full face of Bobbi Brown, like you did with Charlotte T.? These are my FAVE videos!!!!
This is SO STRANGE! Becca is playing us, I feel!
@@dataexpunged6969 same...
Is this collection an April Fool’s joke, delayed because of coronavirus?
😂😂😂😂
Very good one Vicky 🤣🤣
Julia Nursten thank you 😁
Lol
HAHAHAHA
Personally, I don’t get it... if a person had perfectly flawless skin, I could see it. It will be interesting to see how it works as a primer, but it’s not for me. You are such a trooper for trying out all this makeup. I respect and value your opinions 💞🌸
Other brands: let's release 50 shades to include everyone
Becca: How about releasing NO shades✨
No shades, no controversy?😂😂
I wish this would work on me but with my scarring, I just dont think I could do it. I Am curious tho how it would do under makeup!
Thatgirlshaexo tried it under makeup and loved it! Check out her video. Her and Allie made me super intrigued by this foundation/primer now !!
@@kimpop7767 yay! Ill head over and check it out now!! thank you!
I’m wondering how it would look side by side with Tachas silk primer. I use that when my clients want cero foundation and it looks beautiful when applying the rest of makeup on top.
Lit Artistry I love wearing the tatcha silk canvas on no foundation days :)
This is the exact combo I wanna try since I barely like to wear make up
😂
Lol😂😂😂😂👏
Omg I was so excited when I got this notification because I was watching Jen Luvs Reviews review this😅. So excited to watch the video have a wonderful day!❤❤
I’ve been noticing brands coming out with more “natural” foundations and other complexion products. I think we will be seeing more of these
Wait so the function of foundation is to cover up, right ?
So where is the cover/color in a clear one 🤔
Agreed. This is so gimmicky. It's just not a foundation. More like an overpriced primer...
@@GW-gz8jh Yeah, I agree with you.
It’s Official, Allie. You’re the kindest makeup influencer. I just can’t on these products 😅🧐
Hahaha 😆💕 I feel you!! It should have been marketed differently! If it was marketed as a primer or skin blurring product, it wouldn’t be so confusing or disappointing 😅
Allie Glines no doubt about it! I can’t wait for the retail reviews in this. I’m confused as well but very entertained🥳😂
I’ve been wearing a full face of makeup without foundation (only pore filling primer, some concealer and translucent powder) for years. More people need to try it! You’ll be surprised with how beautiful you look!
Your skin is so radiant! I am so happy for you bc I know you struggled a long time with your skin.
Thank you!!! 💜
@@allieglines O.M.G you just responded to me lol
I really like how you gave this product a fair chance by going ahead with your other products and doing a full look. I've seen a few reviews saying this is not a foundation, it's just a primer, but they haven't actually gone and tried the product as they would a typical foundation. I actually think you looked great. Not sure if I'd buy it but I do love a fresh faced look.
I honestly think if you want the glass look put a primer on.... that my POV.
Enjoy that clear skin..I’m jelly
Same might make powder blush and bronzer/contour last longer
Yeah, same
@@nancydavis7499 it clearly works similarly to a primer, i would replace my current primer with this product once i run out and simply continue my routine as usual :) if skipping purchasing cosmetics to donate to organizations gives u a sense of moral superiority, be my guest!
I'd try it especially during the summer and having to wear a mask because I hate having foundation or powder on my mask. I think you look beautiful!
Did you guys see Wayne Goss review? He was straight to the point on how he felt about this “Foundation” 😆
Oooohh you got me curious on his opinion now. I’m going to look for the video!
You skin still looked flawless at the end of the night and not oily at all! Love it!!💖
Gimmick. Becca really needs to work on a relaunch and get their lives together and not giving us crap that no one wants 🙄 JMO
I really love how your makeup turned out. I can tell it smoothed out your skin, and it seems like it toned down the red in your cheeks.
You guys!! Allie is launching today 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🥰🥰🥰 love you!!!!
@Lovely Deanna it's such an awesome collection! I love mine. Still saving them for a trip to my dads.
Save your money, just wear a cheaper primer, and the Vaseline wet highlight... just buy Vaseline 😁🤣🤣🤣
Again save your money!! What a scam!
Allie, I love the way your brows look in this video!! This is a great combination for you. They look natural, beautiful, & full!! I 🤎 it!
As someone who only wears mascara on a daily basis, I’m super intrigued by this collection.... I feel like I might wear this everyday
I would love to see a full face of milani please!
I think it's great for people who really don't like a lot of makeup on a daily basis but still like to look nice for work or going to the store. Because like you did adding a few other bits to it it looks pretty nice for a very natural look! And I think it gives a nice glow 😊
So it’s a primer? Clever marketing I must say
Allie, you look so pretty with this *no makeup* makeup look!
as a person who's not blessed with clear skin, imma stick to my full coverage foundation 😂 (although if i do have clear skin this would definitely be interesting to try out!)
I think I like this new type of foundation from Becca. I can see it even out the overall hyperpigmentation on your face; when you finish the makeup look, the foundation already even out the base color. I also love the look from that highlighter, best product that make glass skin effect I've ever seen!
I'm not sure if it's worth it, when it only "changes" a little bit
But maybe for the lucky ones that already have good skin
Feeling “CUTE” is LIFE for me!! I’m a makeup artist here on UA-cam also and I LIVE for fresh, natural makeup that just boosts your natural skin 😎 I’m turning 41 yrs tomorrow 🎂🎂🎂😁😁🎂 and finding these types of products are my JAM! I adore it. You’re such a sweetie so I enjoy your coconut too 😊 be safe out there
Hi allie lysm xx love how you stay out of drama and don't edit yourself a load 💞💞💞💞😘😘 keep doing what your doing!! Xx
I feel like you can easily achieve this look with a good spf...
I honestly loved it! Im a teen who doesn't like wearing tons of pigment and I found that this diffused my acne, blurred my pores, and even out redness on my cheeks.
I am so down, I only spot conceal anyhow. This looks perfect for my t zone! Thanks for the review Allie!
Just use a matte primer. Seriously, if your skin is that perfect don’t spend the money. It’s a gimmick. They’re out of ideas.
Love the fresh, natural look! I prefer the simple eye look as well.
If it blurs and makes a soft canvas WITHOUT silicones I’m here for it as a primer for sure
I’ve been following you for a while now and I had to stop the video to comment: this light makeup looks so pretty on you ♥️
This is absolutely my fav look, so fresh, youthful & natural .. gorgeous and I can’t wait to buy that foundation once it’s out 😍
This whole collection really exudes the "I love her energy. Go on girl, give us nothing." meme vibes.
Hunny you are my new favorite UA-cam oh my gawd I don’t know what it is about you but it’s so nice to watch and it’s like I dunno perfect
Like it’s ACTUAL makeup and not shade and drama and it’s incredibly soothing and friendly like thank you so freaking much💗
Btw I really like this foundation and I might buy it because it’s super light and pretty and looks comfortable and natural 👍🏻
Welcome!!!!! 💕❤️🎉 You’re so sweet! Thank you! 😘
I like the concept, but not the execution. This “foundation” is a pass for me 🙃
Janette M oh wow i agree with you!!
You liked the "concept"? Wtf what did u expect 💀 Bruh some of y'all will buy air if its packaged pretty
@@tahsina.c Dude, she's expressing her personal opinion. Using it to attack her and others for whatever consumerism crimes you _think_ they've committed is just bs. Chill out. 🤨
This seems like a product that Glossier fans would love. I’m a full coverage girl but this is still very intriguing. Great review!
Did anybody else say "sugar" after allie said watermelon ?
No, just me ?
Love that song "watermelon sugar high" 🎶🎶
Great review! I love how this product made your skin look natural, yet perfected. You are a beauty, but we know you have some skin concerns. This made you look like your very best - “I woke up this way look”.... and at the end of your day you still looked fresh and natural. As an artist, we know that a natural look is the most tough to pull off. End of day we can just look natural, tired, and like we didn’t even try. This amazing product keeps the natural look and keeps it there all day. Very impressed. Probably not your, nor my every day go-to, but this is lovely. Thanks again!
Sooo it’s for people with clear skin who don’t really even need foundation in the first place, got it
I think you look absolutely stunning without a colored foundation. This works great for you. I enjoy your content Allie! Thank you!
I think your makeup actually looked btr at the end of the day as opposed to when first applied. Either way you're gorgeous 😉
Allie I love this look on you!! it's a whole vibeeee
Sounds like marketing. New clear primer, no one cares. New clear foundation, everyone intrigued 🧐
Your skin looks beautiful with this product Allie!! 😍
So basically this is a foundation for people who don’t need to wear foundation 🤷🏻♀️
I love this! Definitely purchasing. The longer it sat on your skin it did continue to get better, WILD! Thank you for this video. Beautiful.
I saw no difference on your complexion whatsoever, and if you had perfect skin why would you even bother? Personally not worth it at all. Interesting concept but it’s just marketing for what basically seems like a primer.
Totally! I’m interested to see how it would perform as a primer! 💕
Allie Glines yes! That would be good to watch!
I love your channel so much ❤️ such a sweet escape from all the rest of the drama on UA-cam. Thank you for being so amazing!
This "foundation" might be perfect for those of us wearing masks at work all day!!
