Hey there, does the included DisplayPort cable support the latest standards?
I have this monitor, and prefer it over my 42” LG C3. Visuals are outstanding. Sure, you don’t get the true blacks of the oled, but the visuals are still a treat. It’s bright, vibrant, fast, and tight.

How are the colors and black levels?
When I start my Playstation, there is sporadically no picture. .Even if I select HDMI1, nothing happens at first. It only helps when I switch to HDMI2 and back to HDMI1. Is anyone having the same problem?
Looks like a good alternative to have on my streaming/editing PC for everything, and for single player playthroughs in 4K where I don't need to be able to have the high FPS I want for competitive games, but rather a higher resolution to record playthroughs in 4K.
I'm confused... Isn't this 144hz w/ 4k?
@@lundhead It is, but it's much harder to get high frame rates at 4K compared to 1440p, and I have a 240Hz 1440p now. So I'd use this one for single player games where I want more details and don't really need such high frame rates.

It is a VA Panel. Is it usable for Sim Racing? Because of the angle of view? I Still have the M32 U and its is great. Now I need a second one for my PS5 Sim Rig.
The slight curve should help with looking off-angle.
I just bought this monitor for $400 and was expecting to be disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised. I never thought my eyes would enjoy a VA panel.

Did you try it for hdr gaming, I'm afraid it doesn't show much colors as 4k tvs

Is it normal for this Gigabyte M32UC model to heat up a lot?......the bottom of the screen gets so hot that you just feel heat, like sitting in front of a heater and almost burning your hand when you touch the screen
Mine started smoking earlier today and now won’t connect to my ps5
I think is because the HDR mode, when its ON you cant changue the brightness and is always at 100, in my ps5 I turned the HDR off and use SDR in the monitor so I can down the brightness and the diference from the hot bottom is abismal

is there any risk using the 160hz overclock?
I cant say about this product specifically but for what its worth, I've used an Asus ROG ultra wide for a few years and have had the overclock refresh rate on 24/7 since day one and have experienced no side effects.

no risk, but vrr will be disabled once you oc it to 160hz. So it’s not worth it

The C stands for curved where as the U is just a flat panel. That’s pretty much the only difference as far as I know.

@@xRonan__x its awesome! Really nothing bad to say at all. I guess its the HDR 400… but i cant complain about that either since i havent tried much at all. Altho i Will try GoW Ragnarok with HDR on and see How it performs. If i feel that its bad ill just go back to SDR which is really nice on this monitor with some tinkering.
In SDR i have two saved presets, one for FPS games and one for RPG games. I dont do that much tinkering in settings, im not an expert. Settings where you really can see different is ’Black Equalizer’ and ’Gamma’. The overdrive setting i use is ’Picture Quality’ or ’Balanced’.
I do highly recommend it, the curve i awesome aswell!

I only play FIFA and CoD so I don’t wanna try go for a super a expensive when where as this seems to have all the main features for much cheaper, was thinking about the Samsung odyssey G7 but I may go for this. Literally bought this on Amazon during black Friday. Literally was supposed to arrived on 12/18/2022. So i figured they got like some late shipment coming in. Well needless to say 12/18/2022 rolled around and I never received my item. When I checked my Amazon order history Gigabyte had apparently removed my order without me knowing. So not only will I not have my Christmas gift before Christmas, but I also missed out on other black friday deals with other gaming monitors I was eyeing. Don't buy from Gigabyte if you want to get disappointed.

Well advertised P3 color gamut is 93% DCI-P3 but test shows 85%, not as advertised, and contrast goes from 2200-2700:1 not 3000:1 as advertised, but it can go brighter then advertised and it supports 10 bit color...Howard, Howard...

Why do you prefer flat? Isn't a curved more immersive when playing games?
@@Jay-son. Curved distorts the picture and isn't really necessary for 16:9 screens.
