I've at least caught 2/3 of the paldea pokedex with quick balls. Never needing to fight the pokemon and just throwing one at the start of a battle has been amazing.
Repeat balls are heavily slept on. Used them exclusively on my 2nd playthrough of scarlet after home was available and got the shiny charm early. Legendaries and shinies were always caught without much of a fight.
True.
I always try to catch a pokemon with a pokeball that fits the style of it.
Me too and that's OCD. The ball has to match it's color scheme or it makes me mad and I hate that every starter is always on the base pokeball so I usually get the fire starter cuz of this
Also the sleep status effect greatly increases catch rate so I assume using a dream ball after putting them to sleep must have a great success rate.
Premier balls have a secret if you don't have a pokedex entry of that pokemon the higher the chance of catching it hints the word Premier, specially if you use it like the quick ball. the quick ball works best if you don't injure the pokemon once you enter the encounter just throw the Premier or the quick ball first it's a guaranteed catch I promise 😉
Dang it actually worked I caught a friggin garchomp with it first try too
Source?
If that were true legendaries would be a breeze
I've caught at least 2/3 of the paldea Pokedex with quick balls. Your chances are almost guaranteed if you throw a quick ball first thing.
@@DovonMac1 it has its limits obviously legendary pokemon are an exception
I think you missed out on a very important factor - the looks! When a Pokémon comes out of a certain ball, the graphics do different things. Dusk balls look great for sending our ghost or dark types, luxury balls look amazing for shiny Pokémon, etc.
Matching a ball to the look of a Pokémon is a much bigger factor for many than any of the secondary effects the ball might have.
I was in the middle of commenting this very thing. Catch rates mean nothing to me, the pokemon needs to suit the ball and that's priority
@@shortbreadhead not sure if you both are joking or not because this is the dumbest thing i’ve ever seen
I was saving the master ball but then I tried to catch miraidon and it was going to kill itself since it used all it moves and I forgot to save 💀 so I *had* a master ball
Moon ball, Beast ball, Cherish ball.
This was the video that helped me, as a New Pokémon player, to what this vast variety of poke balls these games wield. Thanks and subbed!
Premier balls actually does have a gimmick. They are good for catching shadow Pokemon. It's just that there's no shadow Pokemon in this generation. It is however useful in Pokemon colosseum and Pokemon go.
I only use repeat balls for terratalized Pokémon because it’s always a 100 catch rate and I don’t waste poke balls that I actually use. I think I’d only use it on different versions of pokemon (mostly Taurus or maybe a shiny)
Googling this topic found me the exact multipliers for each poke ball type, except for a few that were overly complicated like those that factor based on level differences or amount of time in battle.
I would have much appreciated if this video would include the detailed multiplier info for all poke ball types so players could get more information on which types could/should actually be used in a play through. For instance, the specialized balls (like for bug types, caves, water, etc.) usually have 3x, 3.5x, or even 4x - whereas the great and ultra ball only have multipliers of 1.5x and 2x. So if there's a specialized ball that meets your needs, you should almost always use it instead of the generic balls.
Nest balls calculate low levels compared to the pokemon you're using. So catching a level 50-60 pokemon with a level 80+ pokemon is actually quite effective.
I agree, greats balls kinda have a crap design. I just use the normal poke balls until ultra balls are unlocked
Me catching a lvl 50 Pokémon with the OG pokeball:
I disagree the Repeat Ball is great when you just need to re catch a pokemon and i use it more then any ball
you missed moonballs?
They also missed the beastball
@@yusukeurameshi7744 did you watch the video duskballs are at 2:07
@@Jose-anibal hah crap you right my bad. Beastball def missing tho
@@Jose-anibal those are dusk balls not moon balls. Moon balls are half blue & gray with a moon on top
Where can you get luxury balls consistently?
I only use Luxury balls. My Pokémon deserve the best. Also, the hatched Pokémon get the same Pokéball as their mother. 🎉
I think you forgot about the beast Ball
I am trying to get repeat balls. Because I am cheesing the game to evolve Charcadet. Early. Instead of battling them you just catch them for the sini chips
When u said u didn’t like great balls I instantly liked the cideo
Have you seen the quick ball on FIRE on Cool Cement channel?
Can you buy apricorn balls after unlocking them? Like from delibird presents or poke centers?
No
But it drops on Ace Tournament from time to time (Random Apri ball inlcuding Beast Ball)
Net balls should work better on flying types too, change my mind.
Where is the premier balls
Regarding Quick Balls, unless something has changed, their mechanic is not “sooner,” it is “first turn.” They are not the mirror of the timer ball. On turn one, the Quick Ball has a catch rate of 4 or 5 depending on the Pokémon game. Turn 2 onwards is a catch rate of 1, making it the same as a Poké Ball.
You forgot about some balls 😢
I tried to catch a gabite with a great ball but my friend used my only ultra ball
Actually, on the Quick Ball, its increased rate is on the *first turn only*, so throw one right at the start of battle and if it doesn't catch, switch to another ball.
what about beast balls they exist I know there trash but still include them in ur vid
Beast ball
Thanks im trying to catch this level 60 pokemon the name is chinese or japanese
