The walk and talk with Marc and Tori was my favorite part. The bond between dads and daughters is key. My hair used to be as red as hers when I was that age. Red hair is somewhat unique, and just brings so many comments from people. Happy Camping
You deserve way more recognition than what you've got !, i can see the amount of editing done, from the opening shots and sound design, i'm subscribing and sharing this. Love it ! Perfect
Great vid guys, and well put together! We weren't fans of this hike, too many people for us. Were small creators from Canada, and here to support your channel and the amazing community here!
hey yall i just started watching your channel and i am so happy to have arizona youtubers (: sedona is only about 40 mins from me looking foward to watching more videos (:
ladydipperlove Echo Productions has some really cool drone footage of Sedona, might want to check them out I enjoy their videos :) let me know what you think of them
Sedona is high on my bucket list. What time of year was ya'll there and what time is a good time to go? Seems like January would be good because it would be cooler. I was in Vegas in late November and it was nice outside but it was windy. I wonder if it is similar.
I use a Canon Rebel T5i with a Rode Mic. There is a dead cat on the mic to prevent wind noise. This was before our GoPro Session 4, which shoots 60% of our footage now due to the size and decent built-in mic.
NOT AN EASY HIKE! The last .7mi. Is a difficult climb even for kids. Is it worth it? DEFINITELY!!! Recommendation: TAKE LOTS OF WATER! And make sure you have a good camera and shoes like was mentioned.
I totally get Trish's micro bursts! I've watched other parents ignore their little kids along a 80' cliff and thought I'd lose it!
You are such great parents. I have a son, I can relate!

Omygosh! The first (unofficial) Marc & Tori’s Tips episode! So fun to see the launch of some of my favorite segments in the rest of your seasons.
Camping and lake time are what my children remember. What a great experience. Good for you!
Thanks so much!

I am not afraid of heights, it's the bloody depths i don't like.
Lol.
I live in Sedona I know another amazing hike
Do tell! We'll be back for sure.
Ok I will
I would feel the same if my kids were little
Beautiful. Do you have favorite hikes in Phoenix? My favorite place to go is Skyline Regional Park in Buckeye AZ.
We live(d) up in N. Scottsdale. Pinnacle Peak is our go to. We also like Tom's Thumb, Browns Ranch and the Peralta Trail.
ohhh you adventurous gingers
Thanks for the tips. Big help
Don't get very many comments on this video anymore. You're welcome. We're headed back to Sedona soon for a couple more hikes.
Keep Your Daydream we second that! We're flying over later in the year and Flagstaff is on our route, so really helpful info, thanks...

Awesome!
+Tony Walker Thanks!
Does the redhead with glasses work at GAP? She looks familiar...
How rough is that road in? forester make it you think? Thanks for the tips.
Hey another great video. Do you have a campground recommendation for the Sedona area? Thought I saw one somewhere but can't find it.
This is way way back... Here go you. ua-cam.com/video/qhTWdxw_Y6M/v-deo.html
Oops! Yes just found it - the Rancho Sedona video! Thanks.
I did this hike last Thursday and it took us 4 hours 😭😭
Did we mention in the video how long it took us? I can't even remember. 4 hours sounds about right. Pretty hike!
FOUR HOURS!!?? OMG we went with our 4 year old and it didn't take us nearly that long!
Kelsey Ness I think there’s multiple routes. When we went they were not very clearly labeled
What is the camera (and it appears mic) setup I see in the reflection of your sunglasses at 1:38? Great vids. Keep it up.

Keep Your Daydream Thanks for the reply and keep them coming.

Is a 4x4 absolutely necessary? It looks pretty manageable. Thanks.
Not necessary. High clearance in a few spots, but I'm sure you could manage.
👌🏻
Interesting
Are your children home schooling on the trip or taking 6 months off from school to make the trip?
They are all registered for online school. In fact, an advanced charter school near our home in Arizona. Starts in August. We'll see how it goes!
Hi thanks for your reply.
This hike burned my doggies feet when I went in the summer. So, if you plan to take your pup, I would invest in dog shoes.
Mark looks ten years younger without his beard.....
How far is the walk without driving thru?
I love the opening shots! This hike is fantastic. We recently posted a video of this hike on our channel. Would love to hear your feedback!
THE most touristy, overrated hike in Sedona for sure. But thanks for steering more cattle there, it keeps them off my better “locals’” trails!
That might be true, but it's still spectacular.
He should let his daughter talk more.
never trust a ginger...
