I have followed your family for about 3 yrs so today i decided to go back and look at the begining and OMG have the boys grown, its hard to believe that 4 yrs can change someone so much. and tori was right you went longer then 4 months. Sweet Maggie she and charlie look so much alike. keep on keepin on
You have inspired many to seek the freedom they deserve. I believe making the decision to start if very difficult for many. After many years of watching your episodes is alway great to go back and see where it all started. For me this is the most important episode. This is the one that help people to make the decision to go out there and get it done. Thank you all for inspire many people.
OMGoodness! Look at you young the kids were when you guys started. We so very much wish we had been able to video our family adventures when our kids were young. With one special needs daughter still with us at least we are starting now. Thanks for the inspiration! S&G
I may or may not have ugly cried a bit. Our first camping trip was 7 years ago...my son was 3, my husky was 12, that camper was TINY!! 😆 We upgraded campers, my son has doubled in size, my husky passed away, and I’ve had well over 30 foster dogs and two forever huskies in those years. I’m so thankful, every single day, for this lifestyle that gives us such wonderful memories and quality time ina day and age when families are disconnected. One of these days I hope we can go full time!!
I have been hangin out with you guys here on you tube for almost..3 yrs and still go back to the very first yr of your videos ! I find when I do there is always something I missed or just did not hear..but hey..that's us..we are in our 60's the kids have kids and its time for us to finally get that rig and go have some fun! We have been looking now for weeks and cannot find that perfect rig..then yesterday I said WAIT..TIME OUT..then said do you remember what Trish and Mark said about your first rig..OH YEAH!! " If you wait for that perfect Rig" So tomorrow its ON ! Thanks for being here you guys and for doing what you do !
You're 100% right. Particularly this water that was almost ice cold. She loves water. Did you see the episode of her swimming out after us in Minnesota? ua-cam.com/video/Vy7LQ_rWKa8/v-deo.html
We've heard that from a few people... the water was so cold - she loved it. But she gets into just about any water! Yes, Sedona is a neat place. We'll be back for more hikes.
I have been following your family journey and wanted to let you know how impressed I am with all of you. How far you have come from the 1st trip! All of you will look back many years from now and remember all of these wonderful times. The fact you have the UA-cam video record that you have shared with us makes it even better. My wife and I will be going on our 1st rv trip in February. Wisconsin to Tucson to San Clemente and back over about 3 months. You all have inspired us greatly. Please stay safe as your adventures continue.
Thanks David. Yes, going back to these first videos... we knew NOTHING! Enjoy your trip in February. Great time to leave to Wisconsin :) and head to Tucson!
SEAHAWKS12NLM I stumbled upon this channel a few days ago and watched a handful of episodes randomly but I am doing the same as you know and watching in order ☺
why is it hard for me to find out how to watch episodes in order? I've even typed in &list=UL at the end of the URL and I still don't see them all in order...hmm...
Watching this video in 2023. I used to live in Chandler…we live in Oregon now. Have kids mom/daughter/grandson in Chandler/Tempe. We’re planning rancho Sedona for next year. :)
Oh wow that was so much fun to watch your “beginnings”...and I gotta tell ya...my heart was with maddie...I’m a big time doggy person and to see you with “grandma” was so beautiful....I have two little 4 footed sidekicks of my own💛💛🐶🐶🐾🐾
Love it guys!! Been a follower for a couple of years and just getting my wife into your journey and thought she should start from the beginning, even though she has seen the past, at least, 20 episodes. We purchased our first TT this summer because of you guys and have been experiencing some of the best times!! Thank you for your greatest advise!
U R all so natural from the beginning. Great job . Been watching your current vlogs, I would have never known were worried it wouldn't last. This was first I saw Maddy. She was a sweetie.
That's funny. Yeah, we didn't what we were getting into or how any of this would work. Maddie was a young 15 in this video. We miss that sweet old girl.
I started watching your channel after the RV Family Summit. I am super excited to start watching all the old seasons as I find time to check it out. I love seeing the beginning! God bless you guys. Your enthusiasm for life and journey is beautiful.
I've been watching your videos (the new ones) as I'm getting ready to get into RVing (not full time) and I loved your channel so much, I wanted to start at the beginning! I loved the part about how long people thought you'd last - and here you are 3 years later continuing the adventure and helping all of us get into it as well! Love the site, thanks for what you do! Your content is very meaningful, and it has helped me tremendously! Keep doing what you're doing!! You all are wonderful!
I love that dog, what a sweet face. I'm surprised you showed so little of beautiful Sedona in the video!!! I have lived here since 1977. We have people come here from all over the world and you showed so little of the beauty here. Hope you take more video of your travels...along with the family.
Hey guys! We just made it to this beautiful RV park. We're in space #55 right across from the volleyball court. That huge tree at 11:39 has been cut down and is now a large tree stump seat. Spent 1 1/2 weeks in Flagstaff and going to spend 3 nights here before heading back home to Tucson. I bet it's hard to believe it was May 2016 when you were here. We love watching your adventures and look forward to each new video.
I'm retired and the wife very soon to follow. We have talked about fulltime RVing and starting to make our list to move forward. I really enjoy following you on your adventure and all your helpful tips. thank you so much, I just subscribed to go back and follow you from day 1...
Wow. Day 1. Well.... they get less shaky as you go and the audio does eventually get under control (I think). We also created several playlist to make it easier to watch in order.
I do not understand your language, but I can understand that my family makes lots of memories, thank you very much for letting me broadcast a wonderful video. I hope for a nice video from now on. Message from the Japanese.!!!!
Thank you for posting and sharing the pleasure of pursuing dreams. You can not imagine how much you guys encouraged us to conquer our first RV. You are a beautiful and very authentic family and that makes all the difference. It is very nice to see you enjoying yourself and being happy. Thanks for sharing and we hope for more sharing, Aaahh !!!!!!!!!!! The cone with chocolate and marshmallow we can not wait to taste.
After watching so many of these, I went back to the beginning. I was using earbuds.. volume up for the talking, then boom,,! Way down for the music! Hahahaha! You got better!
Just finished your UA-cam class (we've been watching your channel over a year,) so I decided to go back to your beginning to see the evolution. I'll be very interested to see what I learn from that process too. Love you guys!
Went back and rewatched this . . . from a content creation standpoint, so encouraging to see how quality improves over time, and that you just have to start where you are and let the quality evolve
Love Sedona. The Crescent Moon area is great! We camped at Dead Horse Ranch SP and drove into town, also close to Jerome. Also stayed at Camp LoLo Mai on Oak Creek on another visit. Great overlook trail of the town by the high school - watch out for the rattlesnakes.
Fun to see this first video after watching most of your others, your kids have really grown in a year plus !! And your photography and music etc were good here, but a year later, wow! Great family!
love watching your videos and the adventures you go through. Give us ideas as we continue to become more involved in the RV lifestyle. Nowhere near full time but that is our retirement goal. Continue having fun and making these awesome videos.
I am from Kettering ohio.outside of Dayton an I love Sedona. I spent 2 weeks there. 19 yrs ago I have gone back several times. It's spiritual for me. ride horses did pink jeep tours went down slide rock jumped off cliffs in oak creek stayed at the swankest hotel can't remember the name. but it's at the bend of the road coming into the center of town near coffee pot rock. my nephew now lives in Phoenix so I go there often now. infant to take my kids before their gone in there own 1 already is. Your family gives me hope all is not lost. financially I struggle an I just got over being homeless the last 2 yrs literally slept in my truck not for fun. life happened it wasn't pretty having to start all over. thank you for inspiration
Yes, L'Auberge. Fantastic hotel. The RV park we stayed is directly across the creek from that hotel. We thought it was funny that an RV park shares the exact same same real-estate. Sorry to hear about your struggle, things seem to be better now.
We just had our trial trip because of Hurricane Irma and it went beautifully.....can't wait to go on our next trip in a few weeks - then permanently in a few months....love these videos to encourage and prepare us!!!! Thank you!!!!
+Susan Terral Thanks for the comment! Yes, this trip is happening from listening to all the stories on the podcast. www.keepyourdaydream.com. We had no concept of this trip last year! Glad you're following.
It is so awesome to see how far y'all have come from this very first video. Keep on adventuring and making memories! :-) I would love to see a video of the "evolution" of your truck & trailer since the beginning. My family and I are 1 year into our Life Time of adventures. We hope to grow as much as you have. Keep posting awesome and motivational videos. :-D Blessings from the Lara Family.
I love the quality of the video you guys are putting out, you need to even up the volume levels of your audio though. The buffer music is REALLY loud compared to the parts where you guys are talking, I have to keep turning volume up and down to keep up with what you are doing...
What fun! My favorite parts were the kids testifying from the back seat, and that sweet old dog going for a swim. Labrador Retrievers are water dogs, and they love swimming. Good Vibrations
3:50 One of the RV parks where I remember the full park name. This park and visiting downtown, with all the shops selling silver and turquoise items. Very unique and memorable.
Thanks Van. Check out the podcast (link in the description). That's what gave us the inspiration and "how-to" to make it happen. Best of luck! Thanks for watching.
Love the series, watched them all. Just getting started on our own RV adventure. Stepping up from a Ford Flex towing a motorcycle trailer to an F-250 (motorcycle in the bed) towing a Grand Design 2670mk. I'll post a video in the spring. Thanks for the tips, laughs and letting everyone tag along with your family. Neil and Liz C. Maryland
had to like this video just cause that kid is so adorable and he said too! lol - already subscribed and going along for the tour. Have fun guys, its gonna be awesome!
Thank you. Time with your kids is priceless. Maddie wading through the water probably felt good on her joints. I didn't know that Holy Cross -church /sculpture existed. Wish I had seen it while in AZ. Great video.
Just wanted to say thank you. Based on your video, we booked and just completed a four night stay at Rancho Sedona RV Park in site 81. Great park convenient to everything. We will definitely be coming back.
Just subscribed. You look like a fun bunch. In the process of buying our first 5th Wheel Camper. Our kids are grown, but we have 3 grandkids and one on the way. Looking forward to getting away.
Fantastic. Welcome! Our next rig will be a 36' 5er. Big enough for the family, but still under 40' so there is availability when we call 2 hours before arriving (like normal). Sorta wish we would have started with a 5th wheel, but this entire thing was a bit of an experiment and if we didn't like it...I didn't want to loss a bunch of $$ to depreciation. Now that I know we'll always have a rig to drag around North America, something bigger a bit better built would be nice. Keep in touch. Let me know if you have any question. I learned a few things over 20k miles.
Very nice video. We're heading back to Sedona in less than a month, it's so beautiful there. We're also picking up our first entry level trailer this week. Getting a 2017 wolf pup 16bhs. We're so excited to do some traveling with the kids and make those memories.
Love your videos. My husband and I started watching by accident. With your end of season 1 all of season 2. We love to camp and wanting to go full time soon. Within the next 3 years. You guys are so fun to watch. 😍 I only have one question and it’s kinda silly but how can I add free music to videos.? Please help as I would like to make some family videos and post to my you tube. So glad we found you guys. I truly felt like I was going along with you on your adventures. Keep livin the dream!!! Can wait to make our dreams a reality also!!!
I have watched you from the beginning but I forgot how it all started. I think you should use a few of these to be a filler during your next time off to show new people how it all began. Look how little the kids were!?!?! Fantastic from the very first episode!
Love 💕 looking back to where you have been and seeing the changes in your kids. I still think Marc pulling the black tank hose is the top #1 funniest video shot!! 🤣😂 Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and will be looking forward to 2022 videos. Stay safe and enjoy the ride. 😊❤️🇺🇸
Very cool I accidentally came acrossed your very first episode!! Boy, the boys were soo young!! Which one is older? I would have nightmares too Trish!! Those heights freak me OUT!!!
Great grandma...haha. Watch the heat when it comes to her paws. Just came back from an AZ trip and found your channel. Loved seeing it again through your video. And the s'mores waffle cone. Oh my GOSH...
Commenting here because I'm not sure where would be appropriate but we've been watching you guys for about a month and mostly just watching random videos but yesterday I decided to start from the beginning and go current. We are aiming for our family to begin traveling in about a year or just a little less because I'm a nurse and want to travel nurse as a family. I started research and your videos were one of the first that came up for FT families and I've been hooked since. I have to say that your videos are some that have inspired me and definitely my husband to take our "maybe idea/dream" to becoming a reality that we know now we can accomplish and have a timeline and serious plan for. I have several questions but I'm going to get through all the videos first to see if they're answered at some point. Thanks for all your wonderfulness and living the dream! Oh and if we didn't love you already I found out today from your video that you are from Phoenix! So are we, Queen Creek specifically.
Starting KYD over and going to watch all the videos again. You guys are a fun family to watch - just hope our paths cross at a campground someday... we carry great wine with us!
I can't believe I lived in Phoenix for over 12 years, went to Sedona and never saw the catheral/church.... Great videos and I am enjoying watching...... Right now, I am going to full time in one spot but in about 2 years, hoping to be able to do this!
You're not along. We were in AZ for 39 years and drove to Sedona a dozen times and this was our first stop at the church. Glad we did it. It was pretty cool. We're planning on going back to do more hiking.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing...my wife and I have been thinking about going to Sedona and with your video of the actual RV location, site seeing, and overall joy of the area we have decided to go. We are planning for a trip to Sedona next year, yay!!! Keep the camping trip videos coming and I have subscribed to your channel...happy trailering!!!🙌
That is so cool and exactly why we do this! You're going to have a blast. We really enjoyed the campground, but it's a bit pricy. We decided it was worth the money to ensure the first trip was going to be a good as possible. Thanks for joining us! So many more video to release! In SC now and about ready to head down to Key West, FL. Don't be a stranger!
Your kids are awesome! I have started to research full time living in an RV for when my husband retires. (hopefully in 5 years). I just subscribed to your channel and I'm am started at the beginning so I don't miss anything.!
Our dog must be related to your girl. She is pretty much the same way. We love her though. They are about the same color too. I love your videos. Very nice family.
You are awesome to do with/for your kids. My wife and I drag our kids all over the country in our little R-pod and pathfinder. none of my siblings or her's do these kind of travels, and I dont know why. God blessed your kids with great parents.
Hi from Canada! We have been binging your channel to catch up on your adventure. We share so many things including a similar trailer. Thank you for vlogging your life for all of us to see. We look forward to all that is to come! Safe journey, you are inspiring many others!
Thanks Dan. Where in Canada? Now that we've been with so many people from BC at La Penita, I feel like we know Canada better than when we traveled there. In Mexico, it seems everyone is from CA.
We are 3 hours west of Toronto in the small town of Mitchell. A rural community that we love. We would love to journey like you have. Perhaps in the coming years.
we were in sedona last march, your video brought back fond memories, we did not rv, not there yet, but your video is inspiring - you have a beautiful family!
Thanks for the comment! It wasn't very long ago we were not ready yet either. One story after another on the podcast gave us the inspiration to take the leap. Thx for watching!
Watching this video after Caleb’s graduation. You made it past 6 months. Thank you for sharing your life.
2024 and rewatching this episode. Amazing its been 8 years already. WOW! Time does fly by. Thank you for sharing.
Be careful back here. There's no life guard on duty!
Can't believe how far your family has come from this first trip.... thank you for what you do to inspire us all to actually LIVE our lives. ❤
I have followed your family for about 3 yrs so today i decided to go back and look at the begining and OMG have the boys grown, its hard to believe that 4 yrs can change someone so much. and tori was right you went longer then 4 months. after all these years, this is so great to watch again...love it! One of the best things for the future is that you have so much footage of your kids.
Holy cow, watching this today in 2022, its amazing looking back at the kids. You all have come a long way, in production, just amazing.
OMGoodness! Look at you young the kids were when you guys started. We so very much wish we had been able to video our family adventures when our kids were young. With one special needs daughter still with us at least we are starting now. Thanks for the inspiration! S&G
I know. Crazy to go all the way back!

This is the 1st time I'm seeing Maddie... Wow, what an amazing lady!
So Epic for a 16yr old LG breed pup 🐶
Fun watching this old video. Won't last a week? Seven years later. Amazing. Mark looks so much like Carson in this video.
2 yrs and 6 months later and you're still having a blast! Love you guys!!
I imagine the dog loves the relief the water gave her old joints.
You're 100% right. Particularly this water that was almost ice cold. She loves water. Did you see the episode of her swimming out after us in Minnesota? ua-cam.com/video/Vy7LQ_rWKa8/v-deo.html
Keep Your Daydream no not yet. I just found your channel. I'm catching up.
I had no idea Sedona is so great. Maddie looked like she really enjoyed the swimming and I understand it's great therapy for older dogs.
We've heard that from a few people... the water was so cold - she loved it. But she gets into just about any water! Yes, Sedona is a neat place. We'll be back for more hikes.

Alright, we are starting from the beginning! Can't wait to see how your episodes evolve and start taking notes for some future family vacations!

Good feedback. I know where I've set the buffer music so I can adjust from there. Thanks!
Thought I’d go back and watch some older videos. Somethings never change (Carson) ! Lol. I love that you did predictions!
This is my second time watching your videos from beginning to end! I clearly enjoy your family!
Caleb was a comedian from the beginning! I love that Tori said longer than 6 months. Little did you know you would be carrying Maddie for a long time.
Still in my opinion the best KYD video to date! 😂👍👌
What fun!
My favorite parts were the kids testifying from the back seat, and that sweet old dog going for a swim. Labrador Retrievers are water dogs, and they love swimming.

I've been watching since you went to Mexico. After tonight's episode (5-5-2019) I just had to go watch #1. Sweet Maddie RIP
Yes, Maddie was special. Stay tuned for SN7 :)

We are planning to go full time within the next year. Your videos have been truly priceless as we plan and prepare!

Thanks Neil & family. We're glad you're here. We're also looking at Grand Design. We'll see....
Your dog Maddie is adorable and Sedona, Arizona is awesome!
I decided to watch ya'll from the beginning so here we go.
LOL, your kids are a riot. Maddie is 16? Wow, large dogs don't usually make it that long. Good luck.
They should have called their sons Eddie and Crash after the opossums from Ice Age, lol.
Our family has been debating on RVing. I think this video series has convinced me. Really cool stuff, cool family.
It's so great. Hard to go back to other ways of travel.
Watching from the beginning to see how you guys traveled with 3 children and a dog, awesome adventures.
had to like this video just cause that kid is so adorable and he said too! lol - already subscribed and going along for the tour. Have fun guys, its gonna be awesome!
Sweet. Likers are gunna like! I think that's a quote from this episode :) Glad you have joined us! Keep in touch.
Can't thank you guys enough for making these videos!
Welcome! Thanks.
My second time watching this one!! That, "I think haters are gonna hate!" comment is classic!! Right on, right on.
Lol. Geez. Things have changed!! :)
I come across a video from a "buying a new rv" search and decided to start on Day 1. Here we go!
Awesome Chris! Thanks for the comment. That's one of the reasons we made these videos. Keep in touch.
Nice seeing Arizona again, was there in 93..enjoy your adventure and thanks for letting tag along...
Awesome. Thanks for coming!
I just found this channel !!! AWWW IM VERRY EXCITED !!
Welcome! Lots to catch-up on!
Keep Your Daydream. I just found your channel and love it
Just subscribed.
Thanks for getting back to me so fast regarding Diesel or gas
I really wanted to watch those kids growing up all over again! :-)
Lol your family is just so dang likable!
Carson said it best... likers are gunna like! Thanks!
Thx for the comment. Maddie is pretty to lucky to have skipped the AZ heat this year. Of corse she sleeps so long she may have missed it anyway.
Look how far you’ve come!
Or gone, as it were. ;)
Such a tease- can't wait for the first installment of the "big trip"!!
+Grow My Cleaning Company You won't be waiting long!
Your kids are awesome! I have started to research full time living in an RV for when my husband retires. (hopefully in 5 years). I just subscribed to your channel and I'm am started at the beginning so I don't miss anything.!
Love love love Sedona! 🤗💞🤗
We love those R-pods. Why to go!
Loved my time in Sedona. Beautiful views. Keep up the great videos.
Thanks! Its a great place and endless amazing hikes!
I really like your family; the videos make me smile. I look forward to the rest of your adventure.
Super cool. Thanks for the comment!
Just started watching you videos gotta say 30 seconds in..your family put a smile om my face..
Welcome! You went back to the start. Good call. This way the videos get better and longer over time instead of worst ;)
Young faces wow looks like 👍 fun can’t wait to do it thanks for sharing
Cannot wait to have that lifestyle, a few more years & then full time ♡
It's great. We love it. Keep in touch!
Just found your channel, and I'm loving it. Can't wait to watch more episodes!
Welcome. This was just the start! Lots to watch... each video gets a little bit better :)
we were in sedona last march, your video brought back fond memories, we did not rv, not there yet, but your video is inspiring - you have a beautiful family!
Thanks for the comment! It wasn't very long ago we were not ready yet either. One story after another on the podcast gave us the inspiration to take the leap. Thx for watching!
