If we're being honest, our first Cambodia bus experience was a BIG success! It's already made us want to explore more of the country by bus in the future. We're only visiting Siem Reap & Phnom Penh during this visit to Cambodia, but do you have any other destinations in Cambodia that we need to check out? Let us know in the comments below, & check out the below playlist for more of our adventures through this beautiful country!😊 ua-cam.com/play/PL44CfnrOjzzyqyfhD6punMopUvsR7Id9y.html
Hi!!! We're so happy you enjoyed our content, & we can't wait for you to see our Phnom Penh video!!! We seriously had the best time visiting & hopefully our video does a good job of representing just how incredible it is!! Thanks so much for watching!!:)
Thank you!!! We try to have as much fun as possible in these videos, so I’m glad it comes through in camera. Thank you so much for watching our video!!!!😊
I love the travel day videos! Showing the different transport modes is fun to watch! Though I might not have left that first rest stop, or just taken that kitty with me ha!
OMG Brittany there were stray cats & dogs EVERYWHERE & it was all we could do to keep from petting them😅 We really had to keep reminding ourselves that it wasn't a good idea lol. We ALMOST didn't film this day, but one thing we've learned with our travel experiences is that they're VERY rarely the same, which makes us feel like we've got at least one interesting thing to show on our travel day videos🤣 Thank you so much for the kind words & for taking the time to watch our video!!! It seriously means the world to us!!!!❤️
I loved this video! Journeying through a country gives you a great insight into how its people live and a glimpse into their everyday life. It is great to see your subscribers rising. I started watching 6 months ago when my parents were at Lake Bled. Last week I booked to go to Ljubljana and Lake Bled when I finish my degree in a fortnights time. Wish me luck... I have my final exams next week eeekkk!!!
IMOGEN!!!! This is EXACTLY why we wanted to film this. The countryside of the countries that we visit are honestly the big highlights of our travel days. It always gives you an unfiltered look on what life is like outside of where we spend most of our time. It can sometimes feel really sad to us, but what blows us away is that we consistently see people with smiles on their faces. It really speaks volumes on the type of people that live there, ESPECIALLY in a country like Cambodia. They're seriously such incredible people. Thank you so much for the kind words. It's been a fun little run that we've had over the last couple of months & hopefully the videos are inspiring people to check these places out too, or at the very least highlighting what makes these places special. Not everyone gets to travel to the length that we do, so we always want them to feel like their apart of the journey too (which is the core of our channel🤣). I am seriously SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! That's going to be such an incredible trip. Make sure to put your hand in the water, have a snack on one of the benches overlooking the lake, & if you can, get there as early in the morning as possible to have the lake to yourself. The castle & island are cool, but it's the little things like that that we look back on most fondly. Best of luck to you, but YOU ARE GOING TO CRUSH IT!!!! Thank you so much again for being so kind & supportive of us. We seriously appreciate you so much!!!❤️
Thanks for sharing! My husband and I will visit Cambodia this November to avoid the hot summer there. We planned to take a car/bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, but after knowing that it will take 6 hours, we’ll take a plane instead. Have fun and safe travel 🧳
I need to play catch up on my Probably Lost videos... When did you get to Cambodia? 😂 Was the bus ticket and tuktuk price fairly reasonable to get around? Angkor Wat is high on my bucket list so I can't wait to go watch that video next. Keep it up you two.
Hi Michelle!!! We actually arrived in Cambodia & then left awhile back, but our videos are normally around a month or so behind us in real time🤣 The bus ticket was pretty affordable! Bus tickets were $17 each but the tuktuk prices were SO affordable (normally no more than $2). You'll absolutely love Cambodia! The people & food are phenomal, & Angkor Wat TRULY lives up to the hype!! Thank you so much for watching our video!!!!😊
I’d definitely agree with that! We looked at flights as well and the time saved is something we thought a lot about, but ultimately the money saved with the bus as well as the opportunity to see the countryside was worth it. Only downside was the bean paste bun😂 thank you so much for watching Annette!!!❤️
Hi Gordon!!! So I believe the first bus stop was in Kampong, & the second was near Skun. But honestly, I'm not totally sure of the exact locations of them just because it's a bit difficult to find on Google Maps. I wish I could be more specific😅 I hope this helps a bit & thank you so much for watching our video!!
Another nice video from y'all, thanks for taking us along. At first I thought Oh No! Not taking a bus again, at least it was not flixbus 😊this actually looked real comfortable and nice. I just love your trips, wouldn't miss any of them for the world!
LOL it definitely wasn't a FlixBus this time, although one point for FlixBus since they have toilets (even though 90% of the time they aren't in use🤣). It seriously was such comfortable ride. We had next to no issues & everything was very smooth, which isn't ALWAYS the case for our travel days🤣 Thank you so much for watching Eddy!!!!❤️
you are probalby not gonna read this 3 month after uploading the video but if you do: from all the countries in SEA that you know, which one would be your fave to live in or at least stay for a year or two? i've been to cambodia and i love it, but i wonder if thailand e.g. has the same charme and 'easyness' to it with such kind people where you never feel unsafe. Phom Penh as the big city cant compare to let's say Bangkok ofc. But that is exactly why we love Phom Penh so much.
That’s a hard question! We travel so frequently that I don’t think we have thought about settling down in one for longer than a month. There are some great countries in SEA and there are many places that have our heart. 😊 thanks for watching!
What a great experience. Was there good wifi on the bus. How much does it cost to get a sim card in cambodia. How may rest stops did you have. Which country are you guys feom. Wishing you the best on your future travels. I plan to travel to cambodia in july. Which areas do you recommend
Man...it isn't easy at times😅 We've kind of gotten used to it from all the long bus rides we had last year in Europe, but we still prefer flying if we can. I will say though, the ride was definitely worth it in order to visit Phnom Penh. That city's incredible!! Thanks so much for watching our video!!!
Hi there! I imagine there would be a bus from Phnom Penh to Bangkok but it would be quite long. We use the website RometoRio.com to compare transportation options. Hope you find the best option for your trip! Thanks for watching!
Honestly not bad at all!! The first one was longer than the second one, but still plenty of time. The second bathroom was MUCH nicer than the first, but both have great views!! Thank you so much for watching our video!!!:)
I can’t believe u enjoyed staying in Cambodia . My stay in Cambodia was horrible there . Starting from no internet connection in the capital city phnom phen airport to the horrible weather and bath water that smell like bleaching powder to the horrible food . There was nothing I enjoyed in that country 😊
I'm sorry to hear that! It can be rough around the edges for sure, but there's a lot to love about it. It was very sunny for the majority of our stay & we lucked out in getting fantastic food just about everywhere we went. I really hope that you give it a shot again in the future. We'd 100% go back!

A plane would be much faster and we heard the airports are great. Enjoy your travels! Thanks for watching!
welcome to Cambodia❤
Thank you for watching!
My sister works as a crew member on the giant ibis
Cool video! This was helpful for my trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap I will definitely be taking a bus now.
Glad we could help!! Enjoy your trip!
Thank so much for visiting cambodai ❤
We loved our time there and hope to be back someday! 🤗
Ours was 8 hours in a completely full minibus with minimal AC
I love the cat very cute friendly and the little boy try to help 😊❤
Another great video. Enjoyed the journey. Totally recommend Duolingo.
Thank you so much!!! Duolingo’s the best. Addicting! But the best😂
I took a bus from Soctrang, Vietnam to Siem Reap Cambodia, a 15 hour drive. It was nice seeing the countryside and the landscape.
Agreed!! That's one of the things we love most about those long bus rides. They come with some pretty fantastic views. Thanks so much for watching!!:)
My bum would get too sore!😂
Good stay dear friends 😊😊🤪😜
Thank you so much!!!!:)

As long as the bus has a toilet inside, I am completely fine with the journey. Such trips are excellent for viewing the landscape of diverse cultures.
Oh I completely agree!!! Buses with toilets in them are seriously the best😅 Thanks so much for watching our video!!!:)
I love your video
Thank you so much!!!!❤️
Giant Ibis runs a great service, much different compared to long range bus rides I took 20 years ago.
Oh I have NO DOUBT things are a bit different nowadays LOL! Thanks so much for watching our video!!!:)

Looks like an ok trip…we were thinking we’d fly the same route but guess the bus looks comfortable enough.
I’d definitely agree with that! We looked at flights as well and the time saved is something we thought a lot about, but ultimately the money saved with the bus as well as the opportunity to see the countryside was worth it. Only downside was the bean paste bun😂 thank you so much for watching Annette!!!❤️
Haha the bean paste bun….I will note to bring our own snacks 😂
That’s the pro move!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Hi great video, can you tell me where the bus stops in Phnom Penh. Thanks
Hi Gordon!!! So I believe the first bus stop was in Kampong, & the second was near Skun. What times do the bus leave?
It would have been helpful if you guys could have shared the name
of the bus company or the website that you got your tickets from.
Wow I can’t stand being in the bus for that long.
Man...it isn't easy at times😅 We've kind of gotten used to it from all the long bus rides we had last year in Europe, but we still prefer flying if we can. I will say though, the ride was definitely worth it in order to visit Phnom Penh. That city's incredible!! Thanks so much for watching our video!!!

hello is there bus or train to pnom phem to bangkok?

We did!! We booked through the Giant Ibis website and had no issues!
@@ProbablyLost thanks! Will be doing Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam in a few months and I really enjoy watching your vlogs!
How many minutes between each toilet stop? How much did the bus ride cost?
Well there’s 2 stops in a 6 hour trip, didn’t you pay attention?

How was the toilet break?
Honestly not bad at all!! The first one was longer than the second one, but still plenty of time. The second bathroom was MUCH nicer than the first, but both have great views!! Thank you so much for watching our video!!!:)
How much??
Did you have to vaccinate to travel into Cambodia?
Does the bus have a toilet?
Hi! So ours didn't. We had a couple of stops mixed in during the journey where we got to use the restrooms, but nothing on the bus unfortunately😕
I can’t believe u enjoyed staying in Cambodia . My stay in Cambodia was horrible there . I'm sorry to hear that! It can be rough around the edges for sure, but there's a lot to love about it. It was very sunny for the majority of our stay & we lucked out in getting fantastic food just about everywhere we went. I really hope that you give it a shot again in the future. We'd 100% go back!

Amateurs, try the local bus, no seatbelts, no toilet, people sat on the floor and also transports bags of fish 😂
I got a mini van for 12 bucks alot quicker 😂 !
Now THAT sounds like a pro-move!!!!🤣 Thank you so much for watching our video John!!
Bathrooms on bus
Weak sauce for being afraid of bean paste
