Ya I also got the feeling that he was taking notes for the 18t as well. This experience for Tanner and the whole Holmes racing team/program is going to be great I think. It will be interesting to see what they can apply to the 18t once they get back to it
Glad to see the shark crew allowing you access to keep filming, they should definitely let you be you. Thanks for letting us along for the ride brother! Love it!
So to all the naysayers I have seen talking out the sides of their necks, you did a phenomenal job driving for shark racing. I saw three solid top tens. If I were a outlaw car owner I would be thrilled with your results after four races. Awesome job Tanner
Hang in there Brother.. You'll get it.. Just don't put to much pressure on yourself.. I've been watching you for YEARS and I KNOW you got it in ya.. God Bless you and keep you safe
I'm 46 years old and as a kid I was a Bobby Allen fan and so was my dad. We only knew of him from when he raced on TV and I think he raced against our family car during Florida speed weeks. I can't believe you ended up in his car painted the same as his old non down tube car back in the day. I wish you the best and I hope this somehow turns into a full-time ride somewhere. Good luck
We're all so proud of you and excited for your opportunity, it's like we're living it with you so pretty cool. 1st night in a new car, you got laps in, didnt junk the car, successful in a sense. Continue charging forward! Oh yeah, my OCD alarm was going off like crazy...Tanner clean your glasses! 😉👍
Congratulations first : You have a great opportunity to run with a team that has the knowledge, not saying anything about your family knowledge. Your now with the big BOYS, you now have a crew chief that’s first class. Hang on it’s going to be one hell of a ride and grasp all the knowledge you can. Just to think your running with the WORLD OF OUTLAWS it doesn’t get any better than that!!!!!!! Just stay level headed and always remember WHO helped you in your endeavor along the way. Everyone is so happy and proud of you. Don’t pay attention to any negativity that comes with the job. Let them talk and you be the bigger person and do your job!!!! Well we all will be watching and pulling for you every step of the way. I saw your dad standing off watching your crew do their work, that has to be hard as a dad. But let him enjoy the time also with being Wright by your side. He’s one proud DAD. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE and give them hell !!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to the Shark Team for letting you drive their car. Adapting will be a challenge, but you will do it. Congratulations on accepting this new ride in WoO. Your dad probably doesn't know how to act not having to carry the load. I did not see Carly--I hope she can share in the effort. Your mom did her usual good camera work. Thanks for sharing. PS--Your intro says April 15.
You did well considering . It is refreshing to see a driver such as yourself explain so clearly their strategy, the way a car feels, the contributing factors, track conditions, ETC. I guess it is also valuable for a car owner or carchief to get that instant and crystal clear input after a session from you. Also it helps us fans understand what we can't see in the videos.
Good job Tanner. It must be hard for Carly and your parents to not have so many tasks. Maybe they are enjoying the extra time they have to step back and watch you shine.
Great job Tanner. Been following you and your sister for a while now. Can’t wait to see you live at Eldora. Best of luck. You really deserve where you are!!!
Hopefully you're learning so much from the Shark Racing crew, and Bobby Allen himself on racing, parts, etc..... already. He's the one of the best in the industry! (By the way, happy 17th birthday to Carly!)
You are made for this you picked up very quick with the crew and started scaring the competition this soon at a boy my holmesy proud of you. Clay from mobile Alabama
Tanner I hope you read this now that you're in a good car. Every track you go to ask them the gearing And learn as much as you can from the shock set up. And write it down what size track? This is Tom from PA.
I would have to say that's not a bad night at all for being in a new car with a new team for you because you just a few tenths off of quick time. Just a few spots out of transferring from the heat and the B main. We all know it could've been a lot worse. It will take a little bit for the Shark team to gel with you and you with them. Thanks Tanner for sharing this video with us. As always may y'all have tons of fun out there where ever that might be. Please pass on a Hi to your family for me. Have fun take care
Wow., dad looks somewhat lost and ready-to-wear wear a 1t shirt lol. Just wonder whats going through his head right now. Obviously proud I'm sure, but I know that he would live to be helping out instead. Hopefully he is watching and learning more so it ca be applied to his own team. And i didn't Carly anywhere in the video. I'm sure she's super proud of you as well as your mom and dad. You had a great support group in your journey, so now its time to make happen. Show the world Tanner Holmes is here and you mean business. I've watched you transform into a fabulous driver and you deserve this opportunity. Hallelujah brother, you have made it to the big time, now is your time to shine like a diamond. Let people see why Bobby chose you over anybody else. I live near Shark Racing headquarters and know their reputation, and also know Bobby is smart man so he wasn't gonna waste his time or money on someone if he he didn't have complete confidence in them. He has turned Logan into a world class driver and Jacob is also on the verge of stardom. Unfortunately for Jacob, he needed to take some time off. So Tanner now is your time to let Bobby Allen and Shark racing turn you into the next great driver on the Outlaws tour. I know hou have the talent and here is youe chance. Scruffy wouldn't have given you the chance of a lifetime if he didn't believe in you, so make yourself, your family, Shark Racing and all your loyal fans proud of you. Knock em dead kid as the sky is the limit for you. Proud to be a Tanner Holmes fan.
Great to see you have these opportunities, it would be unusual for your dad not to be involved. If you still have your transporter with you maybe you could change the 18T to 18C and then Carly can get some experience with the big boys as well. May be a support 360 class somewhere in the East.
Hey tanner i think youre doing a great job your a young man with a new and big experience what alot of composure you have keep it up it will all come together for you you have a lot of talent good luck
Needed a caution but you did good I think Bobby was ok with you keep it up Scruffy is a legend I watched him in 1981 running East Bay keeping the car at Robert Smith's shop
Go Tanner Go! You're a hell of a guy. Noticed some family members in the background. Are they going to be able to stay with you throughout the remainder of the season. Who's recording?
Been watching you for a while now. So happy for your new spot. Hope it’s what your looking for. But, I saw the same problem in this car as the last. Starts n restarts. Green flag waves, the field takes off, you don’t. Then you spend the entire rest of the night fighting like hell to get back where you started. Not sure if the cure for this issue. But I’m guessing there’s a solution around the right foot pedal of the car. But, keep working. You’ll get there.
How is your dad taking this, is he liking the the whole aspect of watching you drive and not having to do much or is he ready to get back into the house car and get to work spinning wrenches on the car?
People liked Jacob, we know that. I have been following u n ur sister for a few years young man, and I believe if the naysayers will just take a moment and give you an open mind, I believe they will b able to see your potential as well. 1st night in the car with a new team, ok, wasnt a blowout...BUT, the next 3 nights, top 10's PLUS starting on the front row with a 10X WoO sprint car champion whom I watched him as a young boy pushing toy cars around Nodak Speedway, Donny Schatz...that had to be a moment for you! Ur going to Fargo now, that rich Red River Valley surface is gonna give you bite like u have never seen...n the grandstands will be filled to the brim with Schatz fans and for good reason, but their eyes will be on you as well, so keep ur head, stay focused, and show them and the rest of the country why you deserved the opportunity to occupy that seat and a ride with Shark Racing.
First night is out of the way and you had a pretty respectable first night. I know you always want more, but it was a good start. Now its on to the big show with the WOO. Is the family following along with you until you are back on the west coast or have they headed home? I miss seeing Carly working her b*** off trying to get you out on the track for a race. Best of luck to you and the family.
Hey man, can you comment on the business surrounding your move? Does your sister pilot the 18 now? Who will run the west coast while you are grooving with the outlaws? If you can't Ill see you one on one when you get to my town. AND Your ahead of Daryn Pittman and Alex Bowman in WoO points and they're awesome! Keep it up
Tanner after a full weekend in the triple x chassis what are your thoughts and opinions on it? How different from the maxim and the KPC is it? Can’t wait to watch you every weekend in the shark racing car for the rest of the year. Good luck bud
@@daltonhayhurst8501 I know Brady likes it and Kyle I don’t think ever drove one. But mostly I’m curious how Tanner likes it. Tanner and I have had conversations with him at the track. He’s never been in a triple x until now.
I kind of love that you keep mistaking your number 1T and 1A. I recognize that it’s the same car but a way to stay good with Outlaw points and race restrictions.
Yea we all do but we’re excited to see this local kid here in Oregon get a opportunity of a lifetime and make the most of it. He works his tail off and deserves this opportunity. I think Jacob is thrilled he’s doing a good job while he’s out of the car for a bit.
Watching your Dad in the background, I could tell he just wanted to jump right in there and help with the car, I love your Dad.
I came to say the same thing. Poor guy was like a fish out of water.
Ya I also got the feeling that he was taking notes for the 18t as well. This experience for Tanner and the whole Holmes racing team/program is going to be great I think. It will be interesting to see what they can apply to the 18t once they get back to it

You will really open some eyes in the 1T.
