Ecotec 2.0 2.2 2.4 Timing Chain Tips

2008 HHR 149 HP 2.2 Ecotec engine. good running engine with 146000 miles, but was making a rattling noise on startup (bad timing tensioner.)
BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO DO A TENSIONER OR TIMING CHAIN JOB ON THESE ENGINES, please pay attention and watch the whole video so you dont make the same mistakes I did. This video can apply to any 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4 liter Ecotec engine.
Don't make the mistakes I did: Went to replace it, but unfortunately the chain skipped a tooth during the job. So because of that, I had to go back and do a new timing chain (because you have to take the whole thing apart to get to resetting the chain anyway...)
Not a terribly hard job but a pain none the less and probably could have been avoided. when you remove tension on the main timing chain, slack can fall down to the crank sprocket, causing a skip. This is what happened to me.
