@@kaiserfakinaway5909 huh, you are the first person i recognize after being in so many of these threads to recognize the volume mixing at play, mostly others just discard it as "just adjust the volume dumbo" instead of recognizing the loss of earrape sounds does lessen the impact
Sparking Zero does a LOT of things really well visually. Things like: warping the models like FighterZ for some supers and/or transformations, and most of the special effects and lighting. BT3 just had so much better camera work and choreography for supers though.
that last point is a part of why I feel like Raging Blast 2 is the true successor of the Tenkaichi series. RB2 takes the energy of Tenkaichi's production values and keeps it exciting.
The newer cell ultimates look and feel way better, but for everything else there is something about the small details of the camera shake and choreography that make the BT3's animations feel so much better.
I feel like BT3 just looks more like the anime, and I prefer the effects, particularly on stuff like counters. Also I don't like how SZ removed the auras and glowing hairs.
The Sound effects of BT3 are worse, they feel "heavier" or "beefier" because of the poor Quality. Sparking Zero has better SFX but because it's Hi-Fi audio, you need an apropiate Audio Set up in order to listen all the spectrum. An 2.1 setup it's perfect, because the Speakers from the TV are not nearly close to the CRT Speaker from that time. I have a 2.1 setup and it feels pretty heavy, specially the Supers.
As much as I love Cell in this game, I still don‘t like that Perfect Cell can‘t transform into Super Perfect Cell in this game. That honestly would’ve helped with Dp Battles. I guess I can pick two Cells now which is cool…
Maybe because in dbz perfect had to explode then come back has super perfect cell. And maybe bandai wouldn't want to take the liberty of just make him super perfetc cell just by transforming
It does make more sense lore-wise because it isn't a "form" that he can transform into at will. To be fair though, all of Cell's transformations are pushing the boundary on what it means to transform at will anyway.
SPC is still in Sparking Zero, just by a different name. The character list has his final forms listed as "Cell, Perfect Form" (fresh off of absorbing 18) and "Perfect Cell" (end of Cell Games)
I think the point of it is to make it so that Perfect Cell can't revert to a previous form, which makes sense lore-wise because he doesn't need the Androids in his body to maintain the form.
@@ShomiNexus I'm pretty sure none of the Cell transformations can revert. That being said, it does make more sense lore-wise for Super Perfect Cell to be separate because it wasn't something he could transform into at will. Though, to be fair, all of Cell's transformations are kinda bending the rules in that regard anyway.
If you're curious, the reason why they're like that is that they were shortened to speed up the flow of the game. Especially the transformations, because this game has an emphasis on playing online against other players, so they shortened a lot of the lengthier transformatios. It's probably the most obvious form of griefing you could do by just transforming over and over again to waste time, so shortening them makes perfect sense.
You say that, but then there's still a LOT of obnoxiously long supers and transformations with drawn out shots and unnecessarily long voice lines. For example, I definitely don't think Roshi's or SSJ Goku's kamehameha super needs to be THAT long, the charge up animation got obnoxiously long really fast.
@@gibleyman this, because why are some animations so long I have to predict the exact timing they're actually going to fire so I can properly act? Like legit, some animations Sparking! Zero are just way too long
