Show all the young people about Elvis!!! That was my prayer to God when Elvis passed away. Please don't let the world forget him. He was a gift from God to us. His twin brother that died at birth gave Elvis dual strength in life. God Bless Elvis Aaron Presley and Jesse Garron Presley.
I saw him twice in concert amazing shows
This song was written 2 months after Martin Luther Kings assassination. Elvis was devastated.
He sang this song to deliver MLKs message
This song was aired on the 68 comeback special… what you watching the virtual Elvis with his TCB Band. They performed like he was there live…. It was done about 10 years ago… it was tribute..
Notice everyone is older… but it's still the same guys…. Elvis on the screen and they performed like he was live…amazing
Just saying I was born the day Elvis died lol yes I'm old but he is my king my beautiful brothers xxxx
This song was written FOR ELVIS. No one else has ever tried to touch this song, because this is ELVIS. This is HIS HEART! This is ALL ELVIS! Another great reaction from the two sweetest brothers I've never met!! You guys are awesome! Thank you for promoting a love and deep appreciation of Elvis to another generation! I LOVE your reactions!
Long live the music! Two young, old souls! Thank you!
Martin Luther Kings death inspired this song
ELVIS 👑 I'm dreaming of him right now. ❤ Please let my dream come true.
The older members of the choir featured in the front groups are made up of members of Elvis’ original singers who performed on the original studio session. This is an historic recreation. Magic!
This Song still rings true to this Day. It is a statement song and it was also in honor of MLK jr. and JFK. The meaning behind the song and you will see why it still rings true to this very day.
I read the comments and cant believe no one points out this was a 68 tribute to Martin Lutger King.
You two crack me up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This song was written as a tribute to MLK And Robert Kennedy after they were assassinated. MLK was murdered in the spring and Kennedy died later that year. You need to see the movie. ❤
He did this song a few days after MLK was shot .he and MLK were great friends. In every song he put his heart into it . ELVIS was about peace not race . He broke the Race barriers . Elvis was a gift from God
You two men are so precious! I love your excitement for him. I am 62 and I have always loved him. Please share Elvis with your friends. Keep his legacy going! Don’t let his music die! I smile watching you two! Great brothers!
“If a man has the strength to dream, he can redeem his soul, and fly.” Gets me everytime.
Simply Awesome 👌
You want him to know what a good person he was. Never forgot where he came from.
Elvis BEGGING folks to stop hating l
🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹
Elvis Presley gave the world everything: his love, his money (an incredible number of donations), his art. Elvis once said: "I share everything I have with everyone. God gave me everything so that I can make people happy and help. I am convinced of that"!
This song was a tribute to his good friend Martin Luther King who had been killed two months earlier. He asked his writers to come up with a song for him to sing at his upcoming TV concert. He scrapped the finale that was scheduled and sang this instead. He had to fight to do so.
E P 25 was the 25th anniversary of his death I was at the gate on that night holding my candle !! The some of the photos were taken from opening night at the first showing of the giant screen that showed Elvis with his singers and band mates playing live with the crowd as if they were on tour !! It was a amazing experience to be there for his 25th anniversary of his death !! 😂 I have been a fan since 1956 and I was blessed to see him every time he was in Las Vegas 16 times !! The greatest entertainer ever 😇🙏‼️
Please listen to the original from 68 this one is quite rough he sings it a lot better from the same show
Facts!❤
Elvis is the best free soul of any man and you can feel his soul in your soul
When it comes to Elvis it's all about the soul
The worlds biggest star who felt it all slipping away, decided to do what he did best, Be authentic and use Gospel, Blues, Rock and TV to change peoples minds.
Personally I prefer the version without the modern choir. He also sang this song in his leather suit which is also amazing. You boys are wonderful, hello from Australia. 💕💐
Elvis’s greatness will never be matched.
for sure!!
I appreciate your hearts 💕
ELVIS PRESLEY could not help but pay tribute to the legendary activist Martin Luther King Jr in his 1968 Comeback Special with a truly heartwrenching song
That was something that you failed to tell your brother in the audience where the inspiration came from to that song, and how he went against Colonel Tom Parker in performing it
Elvis sang this song for his friend Marin Luther King Jr
… There are many good singers... but ELVIS is the „💎“ Diamond among them!! A millennium singer for eternity !! 🕺🏻🕯 Thank you
Look if coming to America collection plate is going around my £200 is in my brother god is great and amazing 😂❤❤❤ love for real ,god keeps us strong and moving trust me xx
Elvis had this song written for him for this performance that took place a few months after the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The song was inspired by Dr. King's "I have a dream" speech. Elvis thought we could all have this dream.
Brothers are something special ...................................... Keep it up!
This made me cry..can't stop hear this glorious song 😮
Elvis on tour virtually! Audience is reacting emotionally even when he’s on a large screen some 40 yrs after he passed!
Excellent reaction from both of you
Elvis touched your Soul.
It is great how they added today's music sound to the original backing group from the 70s. But does it mellow his voice a bit? You'd have to hear the original. and see what you think.
34 years after he went HOME. I was there for this in Memphis. He's not even there and yet the presence is! That's the reason he's THE GOAT. PEACE!
Great to see young people appreciating Elvis. There will never be another like him. He was unique. He had it all. Pure perfection. Great reaction.
More people watched Elvis’s comeback special than watched the moon landing, let that sink in. Over 650 million people watched the lunar landing in 1969, but just one year earlier in 1968 over 1 billion people watched Elvis’s ‘Aloha from Hawaii’.
Thank you for understanding and appreciating Elvis ... there'll never be another like him ... TCB forever !
Great reaction! Very perceptive!
Thank you for your reaction to this song I am glad younger generation is getting to know Elvis he was the best he loved everyone
Completely Amazing!!! Best Ever!!
Please make him a permanent part of your channel. Seriously. He adds the right "extra". Really
enjoying reaction Have y'all Elvis in the Black Community 1 and 2 the Echo will never die
This song was wrote for Elvis to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King. A man he knowed and loved!
You would enjoy "Lights Out" by Elvis's daughter Lisa Marie Presley!
It's beautiful to watch and listen to you and your son 😊
RIP Elvis and MLK ❤
Elvis had a twin brother Who passed away At birth and Elvis never understood why he was given the gift of life and a talent that people love.
Love ELVIS!
Great job my young friends. I grew up listening to Elvis Presley because of my mom. This music brings back great memories.
I did dare to come up with a top 10 list, and this Is #1.
You guys are fun to watch!
You two are so sweet with each other. So much love between you, bless 🙏
I grew up with Elvis from very young, my whole family adored him, I live in Australia but Elvis transcended all nations, race, culture, religion, he was all love! So happy the younger generation are experiencing his love!
You go Little Brother! Your Preachin! You are right on!❤🎉🎉❤
A few months after his friend, Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed, Elvis had his songwriters write a tribute to Dr. King. They wrote If I Had a Dream so he could sing it on this television special. He meant every word in the song as you can tell by the heart and soul he displays.
Listen to your brother son👍Awesome reaction ❤️👍
Elvis’s arm is like a pendulum. You boys are cute and sweet. I like your channel.
This is very special ,because ,Elvis's band ,back up singers ,and orchestra ,are paying a tribute to him
Also, I believe he did this after MLK was shot
He is just too good to be true! He is best there ever was or will be!♥️🇫🇮
I think you should have shown him the 68 comeback original first. But it’s still great.
Wonderful to have your brother getting into Elvis!!
MAN.. I LOVE, HOW YOU LOVE HIM!!! 😊
I was there, and the sound was mind blowing.. It was so well done with Elvis and recreated with the Memphis Symphony Choir.. It gave me tears!
I'm watching your reaction again and again. You both have it down. You understand what he felt, what he was saying and what he was praying for. He was 💯 real, a Southern guy who was not changed by Hollywood. He stayed the same, even down to keeping his faith and singing Gospel.❤❤❤❤
DUUUUDE your lil brother had my CRYYYYYYYYYYYYYIN' HAHAHAHAHAHA He has you down PAT man LOLOLOL
We all ( most all) love Elvisafter watching him perform & listening to his never beatable voice.
You should listen to him sing acapello his voice is beautiful
Are we in church? Are these boys preachers, working up the believers into a frenzy? Can I get a witness? Talk on brothers, preach! PREACH!!
Damn boy's your eyes r amazing ❤❤❤
The song is about coming together as a society, as one people instead of the hate, segregation , racism and bigotry that exists. "I have a dream..." Martin L. King, 1963.
It hit your soul hard and it'll even make you cry out
Even though I like the 68 version better, I would love to see such a show...with Ike and Nard as hosts.💚
Elvis is looking down from heaven & smiling at your tandem reaction knowing his mission to spread hope & love is being accomplished generation after generation. Your respect for his talent & music proves he would never be forgotten. His legend of fans have always fought to keep him relevant decade after decade. So happy to see younger music fans explore his body of work and enjoy his music. He is iconic. You both are amazing and adorable! 😊❤
I watched this performance in 1968 when I was 17. I cried then. It was the last song performed on that night. It was amazing and still is. I am 72 and still love Elvis.
I just live you two. I hope great things are in your future
I remember watching him do this for the first time ever on TV ! I was raised in his music and I raised my kids and grandkids and now my great grandson on his beautiful music ! He was my first love and I still love him today !
He recorded this to say his feelings for Martin Luther Kjng Jr and Bobby Kennedy murder
Love you guys! Thank you for reacting to Elvis, he is the GOAT! Elvis was deeply moved by the times and loss of MLK. This song was written for Elvis by Mac Davis, it became a #1 hit.
This is a Incredible Performance, a real, true DROP THE MIKE....Performance for US ALL to Enjoy and Hopefully Truly Understand and even more Importantly Act On It!
Your A good big brother brother your a good little brother brother I saw through my eyes your heart get opened through your ears..nice very nice Elvis was a great man..respect
Great reaction! Can't wait for more!
You got it!! He IS singing to each person individually!! He loved MLK,Jr. and believed every word he sang!
We are one
Thank you for loving my friend and helping to keep his memory alive. We were friends for 10 years met him in 1967 we both needed a friend and we were that for each other. I use to post memories of our friendship, and cruel people started posting nasty hateful thing so i will keep my memories to myself and never share them again they will stay tucked safe in my heart forever. This was a tribute to MLK and RFK. love your reactions so much. Love to you both God bless you from the one and only Memphis Tn.
@p.j.morris I am sure there are a lot of us who would love to share in your memories of Elvis. I love watching these two react to Elvis and see the love between them. It is heart warming. I would love to see them invite more in to learn about Elvis with them.
Dam. , ike & nard. I have never. Ever. Seen this version 🎶🎶🎶🎶😲😲😲😲. 🔥🔥🔥thank y'all 🥰🥰. I really love you 2. Together. 🙋🙋
And Bob Joyce can sing that no one stands alone oh it touches your soul
Love seeing you two together what fun. Love this song and love Elvis. thanks for this reaction, us old Elvis fans love to see. Elvis broke racial barriers, when I was around in the 50's and when it was so racist that white stations would not play black singers. He changed all that. He loved everybody, he just wanted to sing and bring people together. Thanks guys
I love how Nard is getting everything about Elvis. He has picked up on the unique talent of Elvis making you feel he’s singing to you individually, with his heart and soul. Great reaction guys. More please👌💕🕺
Beautiful song, by a beautiful man, but the song is a tribute to another wonderful man...Martin Luther King Jr, a man that Elvis admired so much.
My sweet brother's, loved your reaction. Don't know if you know this or not, but Elvis loved MLK and his civil rights movement, was very sad when he was assassinated. He was supposed to sing a Christmas to close out that '68 Special. He insisted against his theiving manager to sing this one that was written for him. He felt it from his toenails up as you can see. EP was in no way racist. He grew up in a housing project where his family was one of only four families, the rest were black. The friends that he played with after school, were all black!! They called him E.P. for short. There is an interview of an older black gentleman who told that story. I am sure that he has passed on by now but the interview is still around.
You guys are Amazing❤
Thank you!!❤
@@iEight8, no thank you! 😘
It’s a big man who can admit their wrong and he a big man and can see that Elvis was a man who risked everything to spread love. God Bless you both brothers. Much love.
❤😊
Old lady here. Just subscribed.
I fell in love with Elvis when I was 2. I remember everytime my mother would play his albums, I would dance with tears running down my face. I don't know why, I guess he just touched something deep inside of me. I was 9 when he died and up to that point, I didn't really know what heartbreak and mourning was. I learned all too well, too fast.
I enjoy watching another generation fall in love with him and I love your love and respect for each other.
Although he didn't write this song ( but it was written specifically for him) he sang it with feeling because he meant every word he was singing ( it wasn't just empty words to him). ❤
Great review of The King - Elvis.
I love you and your brother reacting to Elvis together! Only one thing you should have shown him the one from the '68 special! This was tribute where Elvis was shown on the screen! Keep 'em coming!
the song was made MLK in mind....his version of "if I had a dream"...elvis was king of rock
Listen to Elvis singing Just pretend you will love it.
Awesome guys :))) That's an audience from just a few years ago watching his performance from '68 up on the a screen. So the sound of Elvis is very muffled. Please watch the actual recorded performance of the song. ;) Then you'll be able to hear his performance so much better.
