    Don't forget this was 55 years ago, direct, no autotune, nothing. The best ever. After him good singers came but none like him.

    The student becomes the teacher! LOL! What I love about this song is that it shows his charisma is so captivating that it really doesn't matter what he's singing and also, no other artist could do his "worst" yet still make an iconic performance. I hope you continue to show him the legacy of Elvis left as a performer and person, it's the job of Elvis fans to create more Elvis fans!

      He was amazing, very humble and a had a great sense of humor, and that is obvious in this performance. He never took himself too seriously. ❤

    I like what you're doing here and how you're doing it. You're passing on what you already picked up, are still learning and lil bro is crazy focused, which is rare in terms of people being naturally perceptive and open out the gate. Remember there's A LOT of Elvis followers, myself included that weren't even alive when he was and they all feel, hear and see it....he has no equal and is timeless. Keep it going cause there's LEVELS to Elvis. And we'll keep watching! PEACE

    Awesome reaction i will love and miss my friend Elvis always. We met in 1967 and we were just friends we both needed a friend and we were that for each other. His death knocked the wind out of me and the funeral broke my heart and soul. People ask me to post memories of my friend some love them and some comment hurtful and hateful things. So i will just keep them all to myself they are tucked safe in my heart forever. love to you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn.

    It had been years since Elvis had played in front of an audience. He was making 30 movies and then went back to entertainment. This is the 1968 Comeback Special. He sang “If I Can Dream” out of respect for MLK and Robert Kennedy who were both assassinated in 1968. Elvis was very upset about it.

It’s good to examine new music from yrs ago. The man has been dead 46 yrs this year and thousands of people came to Graceland to celebrate his life. It’s a week long every year and they come from all over the world to speak to people who knew him. They make friends for a lifetime. A girl on U tube met her husband in the UK at an Elvis festival. Thank you so much.❤❤🎸🕺🏻🎸🕺🏻🎤🎤🙋🏼‍♀️❤️

    Also Watch The Echo Never Dies. You will see us what we had to put up from older people at that time. The old people did not want to hear Rock & Roll. But he changed the world of music. The person that changed the older people to stop there ways of thinking there way was the only way. Well it only took one appearance on the Ed Sellavan Show. He told the people out there that This is a Fine Desent Young Boy. And that stopped all the harassing he was getting from the older generation. So Definitely Watch The Echo Never Dies.

    Notice Elvis coughed a few times during this performance; he also touched his throat & said "hold it, i'm out of breath, wait a minute." He laughed & went on singing as if nothing was wrong & he was joking, but he had inherited a genetic condition A-1 antitrypsin which causes COPD/emphysema & he began needing an inhaler to help him breathe; there is film of him using an inhaler in the mid-'70's before going on stage, so while what he did make a joke about it here, it was no joke in reality, he had difficulty breathing.

    • @carolhayar3037
      @carolhayar3037 9 місяців тому +1

      @@MariaMaria-yl9br He made a joke out of a situation he had due to his lung condition, as he always joked, & fooled around on stage. The man had an inherited lung condition & used an inhaler because of it, as also can be seen on film but not for the reasons you state; & your situation is particular to you & has nothing to do w-Elvis' situation, or any other singers reasons.

    • @carolhayar3037
      @carolhayar3037 9 місяців тому

      @@MariaMaria-yl9br We're always enjoying him, & yes it was very important for him make his fans happy & be in contact w-them, therefore the reason why Marty Pasetta had the ramp built from the Hawaii stage even tho' Parker said no, & going against Parker, Elvis told Pasetta to build it, which gave him wonderful access to the audience; it would also give people who don't know much about him as a person, a better understanding & greater appreciation of what he went through just to perform & make people happy, all the while having various health problems.

    • @snowbird4212
      @snowbird4212 9 місяців тому +2

      He was joking but Maria is right about him having a lung disease

    • @sackofnachos
      @sackofnachos 9 місяців тому

      @@MariaMaria-yl9br Actually, it was discovered during the autopsy that he was a carrier for the alpha-1 antitrypsin gene. It can cause problems with lungs and liver. It was believed that this contributed to Gladys' death due to liver issues. And his autopsy records were made available to the and lawyers that defended/prosecuted Dr Nichopolous during his trial. The lawyers were allowed to give the autopsy information to the doctors who were called as witnesses. So,yes, it's sealed to the general public until a few years from now, but it's certainly been seen by numerous medical professionals.

      WOW, I never knew that. I read a comment on a different reaction that he did many shows in one night so I thought he maybe was having a dry or irritated throat or something. He truly was and is a KING. My music era is the 80's. And so many artists voice will start to decline in their 40s. Elvis stayed strong and true till the end. Matter of fact the many did not sound even close as good live as the recordings. But I noticed with Elvis I love him live even more than studio, cus he gives extra special nuggets of his talent in his performance. ❤❤❤❤
