What a joke of a announcer, This foolish announcer believes in jinx, And never mentions the no-hitter till it happens, He foolishly doesn't realize that every no hitter in the last 10 years was called by the announcers from the 6 th inning or even earlier
Jeremy Pena was a huge part of that no hitter, he was great defensively.
If we had a bad short stop framer would have had like 5-7 hits on the night
Let’s Go Valdez!!! 1 walk away from a perfect game, 1st lefty no hitter in framchise history, and 1st Astros pitcher to face minimum in no hitter
This comment was pointless lmao. He walked someone, who cares how many.
@@FLEPodcastpointless? I am just saying how amazing he was today, one of the best starts and outings by anyone this year

@@FLEPodcastnot really, and even if they do happen often, it’s not something easy to do or accomplish, also counting combined no hitters

Great defense, great pitching, congrats to Framber
Gotta give credit to his teammates out there as well! Outstanding defensive work to save a lot of those would be hits!
It's always a team effort unless he strikes all of them out
Outstanding defense tonight, that’s been a little sketchy lately.
The defense made some tough plays a lot of those could have been hits
Holy cow, he was so close to a perfect game 😊
But it wasn’t a perfect game
@@FLEPodcastthat’s exactly what he is trying to say
Multiple walks doesn't mean close to a perfect game
@@FLEPodcasthence why he said “so close”
@@symbolhunterz8093 it was 1 walk, not multiple
I really like how the announcers were keeping their mouth shut for entire game excluding the ninth, trying not to jinx it.
I was waiting for blummer to say something about it. He almost did after the 7th inning but he kept his mouth closed.
Jinxes aren't real.

@@CaliBeast824 cap, they are real.
Fun fact about Framber Valdez: Astros scouts discovered him throwing pitches in the dark using car headlights to see. Signed him for $10,000.
That was a rare no-hitter, there wasn't a crazy defensive play to save it.
That’s more impressive, knowing the defense did not have to do crazy plays like that
There was the one ball that ricocheted off his glove but it wasn’t too difficult for Peña to scoop it
Por todo lo alto nuestro Valdez🇩🇴🌎
Wow that was the cleanest game I’ve ever seen in my life, He made it seem so effortless, it was a thing of beauty if you love baseball ❤
Great day to be an Astros fan, getting JV back, La Grasa no hitter, and the anniversary of getting Yordan from the Dodgers. LFG!!!

Cool for him it was a home game.
And a year later he was one out away from a no hitter.
Bro better be buying Peña and Maldonaldo steaks for dinner😂Heck of a game by Valdez!
If you’re a pitcher, you know how important it is to get a ground ball out. Framber had so many this game

I wouldn’t go that far, but one of
Beautifully pitched game...and he hasn't been the same since.
Man... I am stuck in the hospital.... I got to watch the game but had to do it quietly!!! It's recorded at home... will be rewatching!!
Valdez is already writing his own history, we still have a new member of the hall of fame
I was at that game. One of the greatest games I've been too 🤟🤟
Yes looking more and more like a Cy Young winner
October is gonna get nasty!! LFG!!!
17 runs one game and a no hitter another game. Stros are heating up and im here for it
27 outs? That's insane

Altuve almost choked on that throw
Was that on purpose? Seems beyond a simple mistake.
The curveball and 2-seamer looked sharp all night.
That curve. He threw it a bit slower with high spin rate. Maldy helped him , told him to slow down. He was throwing too fast curve.
I think it's safe to say the Astros feel revitalized after getting Verlander back.
I had to come back to this after losing the ALDS :(
I went to the sugar Land space cowboys game when they gave away his replica ring I have his replica ring from the world series
Framber valde rd🇩🇴 mlb no hits y no carrer 🎉🎊🎉 happy player success
Not a single ball was hit into left field. Think about that for a little bit! Amazing stuff from Framber
I wa s there lol one walk from a perfect game
As a Dodgers fan I’m just gonna hate the Guardians for the next month
Framber is the best pitcher on the Astros maybe before the Verlander trade
Nice job by the D, Pena makes it look easy. Go Dusty n Crew, if my Giants c ant get one, I hope you do!
Look for God 🙏❤️

La Grasa!

Let’s go!
La Grasa
question: in the 5th there was someone on 1B... I presume that was a walk and this doesn't count towards a no hitter???
Yeah it was a walk which just means it’s not a perfect game, as long as nobody gets a hit it’s a no hitter
It is a no hitter tf ? Lol

Arriba dominicana 🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪

It’s crazy looking at the stats that he was only 1 walk away from a perfect game. Why not consider him the favorite for AL Cy Young?

Todd Kalas and Geoff Blum they commentate most of the Astros games
