What destroys my very soul is the fact that a new owner came in and completely destroyed it. Everything all white, cheap stone flooring and a complete stainless steel kitchen. I will bet money on it. All the wood and vintage light fixtures gone. I would varnish all the wood paneling and place miles of burnt orange or gold shag carpeting. Downstairs would be a party room. I wouldn't change the vintage vibes for all the money in the world...
Absolutely gorgeous home! That’s gonna make a great Remodel. Thanks for sharing! And just a suggestion, make slow returns because on the downstairs I started getting dizzy and had to close my eyes when you’re turning fast Around the room.
I'm assuming this got snapped up fairly fast, just curious what it went for. You just cant build them anymore like this in California, shouldn't be updated, belongs to someone with a true heart.
Large roof over hangs are beautiful and protect the doors, windows and siding from rain and moisture damage. Water is the enemy of buildings. Architects and home builders need to bring back large roof over hangs
I love this home and these types of homes. But all that garden space all I can see is snakes. I grew up in Helper Utah and the canyon behind our house had many snakes up there. We had to be careful in our yard as they would come out of the hills. More than once they were in our yard. They scare the heck out of me. But I do love the house.
Nice house! In fact I own one in NC. I do have to say you need camera help! Your footage is terrible and your pans make me dizzy. Constructive criticism.
It’s an untouched MID-Century Modern Home no it doesn’t. If you want a tract home go look at new builds. Don’t ruin amazing architecture by gutting it and painting it all white.
Then go buy something else. Mid century moderns are highly sought after and bring in tons more money in their beautiful natural state than effed up ones do. Stop erasing history for ugly 21st century modern!!
Cool floor plan cheers
Wow! Adorable move in ready property! I wish whoever bought it is happy there!
I love these homes. They’re beautifully designed and built and timeless.
This house is my dream!! I love MCM homes. All my MCM furniture would be right at home in there I would only take out the carpeting.
Mid century modern is to my liking.
This home is gorgeous!! But then, so is California. 💖
Wait until you see your tax bill!
@@phyl1283 So true! I lived in Santa Barbara for awhile.

I agree. If you see some of the MCM homes that have been redone in Palm Springs there all white and stripped of any original design.

$2,375,000 says Zillow. 😳
$2.37m in the current market in Orinda is a steal. This home is a gem.

In my dreams.
I'd paint everything white. 😊
Nice house tour very quick. Hardly taking in anything.
1970s style , 👍
Built in 50s. Decor is 70s.
You don’t need a burglar alarm with those wooden floors!
Je l adore!
that is meaningless.
Was that painting on the stairwell covering that bathroom window? I bet it is, good move, lol.
You must be an interior designer

The views are spectacular! I love the wood. But my biggest concern is how much asbestos is hiding in this gem?
Finding out if half the fun of owning one :3
@@munkyz234 - not when it comes to asbestos! I lost my dad to asbestosis... 😟😭
Too much panning is making me sick. Slow down and focus on one spot for 5-10 secs.
$2.3M ?

Nice view. The house needs updating though.
No, no it doesn’t.
