I've always wanted to live in a house with a courtyard but thought it was not a good idea because I rarely see it in homes in my country. But seeing how this is built in a neighbouring country, shows that it is definitely possible!

Goes to show how a house well integrated with greenery, natural materials & color palette gives the space a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The architect did an amazing job 👏🏼
They handled it very well. I can already feel the sensation of air circulation in there. Also I really appreciate that they used the traditional decorations in there

This and the previous video featuring houses in Jakarta, just made me wondering, “where are all these beautiful houses?” I’ve never seen it in the city … until I realized that these houses are private areas. Hahaha. Two very good example of tropical houses. If Jakarta like this in the entirety of the city, it would be sooo nice God!!!
Actually the future of Jakarta as a viable city is in doubt. It is apparently sinking because of the weight of the densely-built buildings, excessive extraction of ground water and rising seas. About 40% of Jakarta sits below sea level. It is the fastest sinking megacity in the world. It is predicted that by 2050, 30% of Jakarta would be submerged under water. The Indonesia government already has plans to move the captial to Nusantara.
@@MTMF.london but they all got pranked by Mulyono. IKN will no longer be Indonesia capital as Mulyono has planned it to be. Massive debt and lack of investor for the project makes the project to be put on hold, maybe for a very long time. Also the lack of planning to be a support of the neighboring Cities as well as the lack in overall planning for the project. Not to mention the corruption in the project itself. It's heading towards a ghost town like the ones in Malaysia and Australia.
