Like the way you document the tree and fruit. Gives me added knowledge when I'm deciding to purchase the tree.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Peter's Honey. I have one young Peter's honey that I hope to see fruit next year. I see you live in Michigan, which is cold, and I see all your figs are outdoor in containers. I have a question, will you take them inside or how do you protect them from frost, or are they cold hardy that you just leave them outside unprotected? Thank you.

Hi Thavy, majority of the trees will all be in my basement, some in shed, with heater set at around 30 F.

@@backyardfigs Thank you. I took 2 small cutting from all my fig trees to root and will leave all inground figs where they are. I will find out if they will survive the frost or not. If they do, it's great. If they don't, I have cuttings to plant next spring and will have better plan for them for next winter. I am in East Texas, zone 8B. Hopefully, it's not too cold to kill my fig trees.

I'm in Michigan too. I have a few varieties, My wife really wants me to grow peters honey. Are you willing to trade cuttings or small plants? Or would you sell cuttings or rooted cuttings or know where I can find them? I'm having trouble finding them.

Hi, I will propagate many varieties this/next year, possibly Peter's Honey. If you live near me, stop by nd I will give you a cutting or two. Also, you can try on FigBid, be patient if you don't see one right away.
