This stuff intrigues me more than scares me! Have you guys ever run into any weird people or creatures? So far, I haven't seen anything. The music at the beginning and end suits these videos, keep up the good work guys- thank you and please be safe!
@EternallyGr8FULL thanks my friend.. I actually don't believe in unknown creatures so much anymore after exploring about 500 underground locations. But who knows.. maybe bigfoot is out in the deep forests somewhere
I’d love to see yinz do a collab w/Action Adventure Twins!!! They specialize in natural caves & sometimes do mine vids & vice versa w/yinz!!! Anyways it’d be some amazing footage for all of us!!! With that being said well done friends can’t wait for the next vid!!!
That's a definite. I'd love to see a collab between their two channels (maybe Edward's friend Davis from Cave Chronicles too?). Would love to see Edward debate whether he was gonna send that hole at the end.😂👍
Oh man I could tell Tommy was feeling uneasy about that place and I don’t blame him. Very eerie looking. Practically an underground forest with all those timbers. Phil don’t tease me with that bonus hole footage 😂
Dude...in a different life where I was a different person I would be there doing this as well ..just man, you go through some scary ass shit. Sorry for the language but dude, please be careful and keep posting videos, you are a gentleman and a scholar, I mean that.
"Someone's been down here" might still be if they didn't carry glow sticks 😕 Glad you didn't go into the tube at the end phew! Good video, as always freaks me out 😂 Thank you and be safe.
Thanks for another AMAZING video Phil.😎👍Absolutely love your content. What a beautiful, sketch, gnarly mine and very creepy. Wonder where that 🕳 goes..?🤔 Stay frosty dude.🥶
So awesome you could get down there. Such a cool world down there. Never made to pa to explore with dad. We did do a lot of caves in New York. Upstate. Thank you for sharing. As always, please be safe down there there.
I was getting an uncomfortable vision of stepping on a spike under that water. 😬 but horrible intrusive thoughts are common for me, unfortunately... Glad it didn't happen!!
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ the footprint you found down there is only going in One direction, whoever went down may not of come back out. It certainly is a different world down there, be careful on your explorations and thanks for the excellent video ✌️🇺🇲
another killer video! cant beleive how much of a drought we had and yet you were still chest deep at times. wonder if one good rain would fill it back up?
The poor woman who died when a sink hole opened up in her yard as she went to get her cat shows why the owners of these mines should have been required to fill them completely in after they abandoned them
New sub. Great video 🎉 All I could think of is WILD! I explored many mines in Kentucky growing up, with our trusty double D cell flashlights. No cameras or phones. Not a care in the World. Watching this video, it all became so much clearer to me, how crazy I was back then, and now a new generation of crazy is there to take my place. 😂 Stay dry guys and stay safe.
Can I get that new mine smell as a hanger for my review mirror? With actual mold spores for authenticity! Thanks for another great video. Are there caves or mines in York county? I can't locate any.
@corgimom2 The mines flood on there own without proper drainage tunnels or pumps in use. Most entrances do get filled in, but over time some subside back open
There's this other channel and they take little shiny stars from maybe the Dollar tree or something and drop them on the ground where they came in at this way when you're using the light or leaving it'll show you where you dropped the little stars at
If I understand correctly what I've seen in other mine exploration videos, the type of timbers you found are very old. The old mines often have timbers that are just whole tree trunks, whereas newer mines typically have milled timbers. (I'm no expert, and I could certainly be wrong)
@Pertinacissimus Yes from what I've seen you're correct. Seems like they quickly used what they had back then. As opposed to today, I wouldn't be surprised if they're weather treated too
Think of all those miners working in those conditions……..and what they must have suffered for the mine owners. Big bucks for the owners …….pennies for the workers, and tough luck if they were sick or injured.
Can you please post when the mine was open & closed? Just to get an idea on the age of the mine. I know you wont' post the location or name. A year date isn't going to clue anyone its location. Put dates in video description when you know them. Thanks.
This is why mine runoff is so dangerous. That water is very full of things not fit for nature. This is also an example of why you should not go into these places. The flooding that hit that mine was powerful enough to destroy tracks and timbers.
@AmazingPennsylvania though of that but wasn't sure how easy that is on your equipment. For the adventure twins in caves the go pro might not be easy to backtrack footage without a computer or it's time consuming when you are fighting battery life in the dark for hours. Definitely dig the glow sticks.
From someone with too may years of mining under my belt, and MSHA mine rescue. Everything from 28 inch to 8 foot seams, what you post, while it may be fun for you, think about people that have no clue about black damp, sump holes, bad ribs or top. You are putting peoples lives at risk, epically kids looking for a thrill. Your false bravado, is sickening and is going to get someone killed, and that will be on you.
@skeets6060 Do you specifically have a problem with me.. or all the tens of thousands of explorers on social media? Go take out your anger on a more worthy cause like the smoking and vaping companies.. or violent video games. Get lost buddy
It’s a passion we chase enthusiastically every single day. You should consider yourself fortunate that we even pull our cameras out to document the forgotten history and sights which would be lost forever to the general public. We are valley boys and our forefathers worked these mines for the betterment of our country. There is no false bravado, the dangers are there and we are very vocal about them. In every documentation of these places Phil states Stay Out and Stay Safe. We take the risk out for others, providing no locations and no encouragement to visit these places.
@@skeets6060 There's a reason these guys don't give out the locations of these places and give warnings about the dangers of exploring them - TO KEEP THEM SAFE. People who are overly curious, inexperienced and with no common sense are going to get themselves into trouble without any encouragement. I for one, hope that Phil and his cohorts at Amazing PA (and the other Caving and UrbEx channels), continue to upload more entertaining and stunning videos of these locations that most of us will never see. I can understand your concern from a certain point, but in no way do I feel they encourage people to do this stuff blindly.
@@AmazingPennsylvania Well said!😎👍 Although as a fan of the DooM franchise, I question the last part slightly.😂 Just take no notice buddy. I, and thousands of others, really enjoy your content and are not dumb enough to actually think "Oh, I'm gonna send that mine now I've seen Phil on Amazing PA do it!". I have actually done a brief bit of caving, with my late Uncle who was a very experienced caver and cave diver, when I was in my early teens to early twenties, and it was nerve wrecking in places. We always put safety first and I never sended parts I didn't think I could do.
That was another awesome adventure!!!! AMAZING Pa is the best!!!
Crazy that you saw footprints down there!

Wow you guys are crazy 😮
I feel the word "crazy" is somewhat lacking.
Holy shit, underground PA is amazing as well...
Awesome find guys! droughts suck but it paid off this time! Gotta love that Pennsylvania anthracite history!

You guys are the real life Charlie and Frank climbing through the sewers
I am always waiting for Pennywise to pop up from around a blind bend with a fist full of balloons clutched in his claws.

Its impossible, the entire valley is hollowed out.
"There's a footprint" THUD and a faceprint!😅
Another crazy hole.👍
Boys having fun exploring.
if i were a little younger i would like to go with you guys been watching for long time i am in carbon county

Never been in a mine . A couple of caves .
But used to trap here in Indiana . And there is nothing worse that chest waders full of cold water .
That east coast drought paying off.
That was COoooool
f-ing stop and shop bag 🤣🤣
Do they fill all the coal mines up when done with them? Or deliberately flood them?
@corgimom2 The mines flood on there own without proper drainage tunnels or pumps in use. Most entrances do get filled in, but over time some subside back open
You need neck high waders😅. Its not a thing. I looked hahaha.
That had to be Tommy's boot print... I would have followed it.
That orange muck is the stuff they make Doritos and cheeze kurlz with
JFK Jr. will outlaw that.
You could film a horror movie down there!
😊
what type of flashlights yall use?
Unstable timbers
AMAZE of timbers.
@@futureelvis LOL
Q... when you say Tommy knockers , what exactly are you referring to
I wonder how much orange sludge is left in the bottom of your washing machines?
They should have called you guys to find the sinkhole lady!
I think phil and co.would have had her out in less than 4 hours.

That is definitely the sketchiest one I was in so far.
So that was your foot print lol :)
@ possibly, I think he went before me though. Or I mean you guys.
A bark from the great trees of old mine.
Yo drought bex is crazy good stuff
My concern if I went into a mine, other than the usual dangers, would be getting lost. Did the footprints come back?😬

do you know how old this mine is and when it was last worked good job stay safe
@@waynekoepke8128 I believe it opened around 1910 and closed in the mid 1940s

Earthquake hit cali things shifting not good time to be doing this prediction coming still to come
if you are up near Brookville these could be old underground rail road passages.
Which Knee pads do you guys use?
@UncleDarthChristo I got mine at harbor freight. I don't know the brand but they're only about $20 bucks
@AmazingPennsylvania thanks
Harbor freight $4 for mine

A military compass could be a good way to keep bearing also.notes drawn and a bearing. Even a pen on your arm
