4:42 The amount of water flow at the start seemed more than usual looking at the erosion rate of things around it, I wonder if what they experienced was a water erosion caused collapse some where deeper in the mine, perhaps minor but enough to cause vibration. I am curious if the water flow is similar upon a return visit. Keep on huntin' the holes safely this mine makes me more nervous than usual because of this.
Things i learned from your vid today: - The Bottles: Calvert Reserve Blended American Whiskey - Bottled 1942 (43.4%, 75.7cl) - ~450 us$ (429€). Empty Bottles in good condition are sold ~35 bucks on ebay. - You really need waders :D - Timbers are in good condition when one of them is missing the half of it :D (some seconds before the bottles were shown, the one on the left) My thoughts: - When you see minecarts you stop beeing carefull (and jump into water you dont know how deep it is or if there is a hole to the next level under it). - At the end of the carts it looked like daylight at the end but i think its the white stuff on the ceiling that reflected the light. - Tommy got eaten by the coal mine monster meanwhile... oh wait ... there he is :D - Glowsticks in shape of an arrow look funny. Conclusion: Stay safe and i see you in the next hole you explore :D Meow ! 😹
would they operate that many together or just using that shaft for storage is what I am wondering? I could imagine like 10 of em lined up just shoveling into them from the mined out piles, amazing historical discovery here.
That was insane so much more to discover! I’d like to see where all that water is going. You might want to bring some hip waders next time. See you in the next hole😜
That was so gross down there, maybe one day I'll share your idea of beauty 😁 I do appreciate the Saturday night underground adventures, Thank you so much, stay safe.
Been watching you for a long time now and that has to be one of the most amazing places that I've seen you going to or just about the number one best video great work keep it up I love your videos Man and I live in Pittston area so I'm not too far from you😊
We are absolutely delighted with this great find, a train of coal cars, never to move again. The track gauge was wide for coal mines, maybe, three feet. It shows that it was expected to be a very productive mine and it seems as though they had the intention of coming back to the mine after the hostilities were over. I suppose the question to be asked would be, how many returned home? This is a very interesting video presentation for which we are most grateful.
All mining stopped abruptly in ww2, they left everything behind. Careful where you step old blasting cap take off your foot. The older it is the more unstable it becomes. Awesome video!
Yeah that is probably the coolest abandoned mine cart train in the world, at least that I’ve seen from my travels or even on the internet altogether. The sheer size and insane natural decay is just spectacular. A real epic amazing Pennsylvania hidden gem!
Lucky horseshoes 🍀Endless massive tunnels to check out ! Unbelievable sight of that many coal carts , awesome sight to see 38 wow ! Thanks guys that was great, Happy Thanksgiving 🦃Stay safe !!
Oooooh!!!! I've been waiting for this one!! Came back too say " Wowee!! "That was awesome! I hope you go back and explore that rumbling sound. I'm intrigued.
I suggested your channel to my brother last week. I sincerely hope he’s now a subscriber too. I really enjoy these vids, so jaw droppingly fascinating. Stay safe guys. 🇬🇧
U 2 Are my favorite!!! Mann i need to go with you all one day pllzzz...!!!! b4 i see theman... Great finds bros...!! my brother died years ago 30 years last timei got go,,
This mine is gigantic! Most are lucky to see one coal cart in reasonable condition. This is one and done. Most likely, never again. I'm thinking these carts weren't needed at some other mine, so they were left for you guys to find years later. Who knows what else is there? I hope you guys go back. What an explore!
Well you’ve just gotten another subscriber I enjoyed this wonder down where the last. Generation worked hard labour for a few cents. Thank you for a great video from UK till the next walk. Over and out. 😊🎉😊🎉😊🎉
Absolutely Amazing PA.......................The vastness of this mine combined with those 38 well preserved coal cars is unbelievable. This find rises to the top tier of your explorations for sure! Well done Phil & Tommy, well done.
Asking for a friend, could these mines have been here a lot longer than people think, and it was some type of flood that destroyed them all. Great show as always 🇬🇧
They were building structures that went through extreme heat, land slides, and mud floods. The mining operations were to excavate the contents of buildings.
@markbrassington9187 The mines we explore are most certainly no older than the mid 1800's. There's detailed maps and historical records available. Also
First class video friend that's some amount of mine carts your a lucky man to see them and please keep the great videos coming friend. From Scotland 😊🎉🎉
You should look into a DJI Avata drone with a light kit. Amazing what you could do from flying over all those carts, to scouting areas before entering to getting videos in areas where no human can go. I have one, and they are awesome and easy to control. Just practice and your videos could be even more amazing!
🙋Hi guys from South Georgia. You guys are nuts! I pray in the name of Jesus , you guys stay safe in all those mines you go in. That is one heck of a mine. I know you guys are safe from this one, or I wouldn't be watching this video. Y'all are some brave Hammerknockers! Lol. 😁Keep plenty of kimlights on ya and I'm praying so hard for your safety because you never know what's in those places. Such cool, amazing finds guys! Very beautiful mine! I just love the way your camera picks up all those beautiful cors inside. Love the train. Finally get to see all the carts. Wowsers! 😯😁That place bought took my breath away. I couldn't amagine working in places like that. We truely need another video of the end of it all. Totally awesome! I do pray someone knows where you guys are at all times! I'm praying for your safety and please please stay safe and I'll see you in the next hole🧐😁🙋later guys and God bless y'all. Thanks for such a cool adventure! 👍🥰
Bad ass mine! I can’t believe all those coal carts left behind. Wonder if conditions in that area deteriorated before they could safely get them out so the were a write off
I know you don't want to post the location, but can you post some info: do you know when this mine was opened & when it closed? was it closed because of depletion or economics (bad economy)? Are you going to redo this mine at some point? Thanks for sharing!
We'll need a part II and maybe part III. If love to see the toilet flushing water torrent as well as all thise other tunnels. Stay safe guys

I measured it was close to 5ft
@577buttfan Thank you for the information, the gauge certainly looked wider than a usual line for coal cars.

Amazing find on the carts.
That toilet flushing and rumbling was my bad. I knew I shouldn’t have eaten that 2nd burrito for lunch.
Your exploring, but documenting history of the mining industry. Hope these videos end up into a historical record for decades from now.

I think the issue is losing the drone. especially in tight spaces.
WOW, looking at all that roof fall would scare me way too much to proceed thru.

Unreal how many tunnels there are. Was the rumbling you heard a collapse, perhaps further on? another great video!
No it kept happening every 15 seconds or so from where I was at.Water definitely doing strange things down there.
I want to know where the water goes
Might have to do like extensive cave explores...setup a base camp and spend 3 or 4 days down to be rested on each one.
