@@raven4k998 I remember reading something that explains it. In the destruct code seen in ST3, the last letter controls what kind of self destruct it is. There's two kinds. The first kind intentionally causes a warp core breach. The antimatter containment fields are shut off, resulting in tons of antimatter annihilating. This likely results in the entire ship (every single atom) getting converted into high energy plasma, and would probably be brighter than a star for a couple moments. The 2nd kind is a lot simpler. There's a bunch of explosives around the ship and it blows them up. This doesn't destroy the ship nearly as thoroughly, and is probably intended to just total the ship, instead of obliterating it. This is what Kirk does in ST3.

The Enterprise was destroyed above Genesis in 2285. Your fanfilm takes place in 2295, yet the stardate reads as 48634.5…which means that it would be sometime in the 24th century
Initially, i have to admit, i nearly turned it off before it started and, thank god i didn't. This is amazing work. It's beautiful, created with more love than the whole of that awful Discovery series. Always was a dream of mind to see her at least restored to some kind of order. I'm gonna be watching it again.
Your use of light, ie: coming through windows knowing the balance of light and dark, like if I were to go to a mall and see the beauty of a skylight on a mall roof shining on a plant for example and other examples in this video are brilliant and may I even add..genius. Very nice. Breath of fresh air.
Overall, a very fitting tribute and wish fullfillment for the most beautiful ship in Starfleet. Your love for Trek and the original Enterprise certainly is plain to see, and thank you for remembering Peter Kirk exists! That said, there are areas that could be improved in the video. The most egregious is the wooden, lifeless voice acting. There was no emotion, no passion conveyed. No love for the restored ship in their actions and voices. The animation was slow and clunky. I wasn't sure if people were actually speaking or if we were dealing with voiceovers instead. Still, given your apparent resourses, this was well done. Perhaps given more experience and a better computer setup, you could address the weaknesses in this video. But it is always a beautiful thing to see a ship repaired, manned, and brought to life. Even if it's just to go to her final berth. Kudos, sir.
Great concept and original thinking! I’ve built several Enterprise refit models over the years. It’s always been my favorite version of the ship. Well done!

*Shudders* I remember being in the movie theater and people were crying when the Enterprise exploded. It meant something it was still the same ship. No Bloody A, B, C, or D. Well done redo of it. Aww no redemption story? Perhaps he ended up in Command again with the Borg attack. Harman could face his fears and prove he was a fit captain for an Enterprise. Even if I only remember him as Tuesday man. Might mention you cant have 2 Captains on a (star)ship so it wont kick in till he disembarks. All matter. Just all of it. Poof goes the universe (Sorry that tickled me.) One line I always loved was "Oh the Engineering sections of the Enterprise 50% of it was absolutely 100% Fed Standards." His friend looked confused "What about the other half?" "That was Scottyrigged to do whatever Kirk asked him to do."
That was touching and truly a well deserved ending even if it didn't happen in the movies or following series. Hardest thing to witness next to Spock's death scene. Would love it if in any upcoming series that they did find and give Her a proper decommissioning. To the creator of this, I thank you for making this and giving and giving the Enterprise the homecoming and retirement that was truly deserved. 👍👍
My only complaint. The voices on this sounded wooden. Great to see the Enterprise rescuing the Enterprise. "All i ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by." Captain James T. Kirk.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and very well executed in every detail way shape and form possibly provided in every format and a very wonderful story line indeed and loved that the Galileo shuttle got her original number 7 back and the crew personnel were a little on the stiff side in their movement's though with very broad shoulders and all the female personnel were all very well indowed in like the double D parameters, Any ways all and all very great job and a wonderful spectacular production indeed!,👌.
"To absent friends" indeed, well done. I was fortunate enough to meet and have a great conversation with James Doohan. I wish that they did this in the movies, but the CGI animation is just as well and well done again. Too bad that there is no way to resurrect the Enterprise C. It would be even more interesting to be able to have a collection of Enterprises NX-01, 1701. 1701 A, B, C, D E, F & G. Oh well perhaps in a future.
Maybe the Enterprise C is in a Romulan museum, and some kind of trade can be made. Maybe give them back their original cloaking device as a sign of goodwill?
Alec Peters will be very happy that you included an Ares class federation vessel! I would had preferred to see a TOS Constitution class at the Starfleet museum!😮😅😊😂
When I first saw the ship I recognized it but was off. Then I saw that it was the Ares with movie era warp nacelles, It was a good and logical refit of the ship.
I always say that menial graphics and a bit of cheesy graphics mean NOTHING when you got a good writer and a great story to tell. This was a lot fun to watch. My STO ship (on my 2 favorite characters) is an Excelsior Class (Original) and an NX class. (Archers Enterprise). I like that I got to see the inside of my home ship. Excelsior is a great ship. Love the Enterpruse B.
The Enterprise has two different self destruct systems. 1st. remove all retainment of anti-matter bottles and intermix system. The Enterprise explodes in one massive blast with enormous amount of Gama rays. 2nd. One To use in case she's to close to a planet you don't want to irradiated. Anti-matter pods are jettison and escape along a programmed course. Explosive charges are detonated throughout the Enterprise's hull turning it into a useless hulk.
Yes, love the concept of this and the execution! However the self destruct is to keep the ship and technology out of enemy hands, i expect it would be designed to override any recovery protocols. A very interesting what if though, and that’s the whole point
@@alanedwards8834there were some comments on other videos specifying that there were actually two self destruct modes, the one used in Star Trek lll, or “000-Destruct-0” if I am remembering correctly, was only meant to detonate several explosives on the bridge. The other destruct mode that the comments stated was more of the lines of “000-Destruct-1”, which was supposed to trigger a warp core breach. Of course, this seems more like speculation than anything else, but it wouldn’t be surprising if starships have two methods of being blown up. In this case, Especially since the secondary hull survived, and there might as well have been a possibility that the Enterprise would have missed the planet, or somehow have escaped similarly to what was depicted in this video, and generally need a way to fully ensure no one steals your crippled ship’s wreckage to study it.
I remember feeling sad when seeing the original Enterprise crashing. We always hope for a happy ending but it’s good to see an alternative outlook as what might have been. Love the Ares Class not sure if it’s appeared in TV Canon but would make for an interesting story.
@@thephantasm581 as much as I wish that man. all anyone would find is probably part of her nacelle or at most her engineering hull. I'm not sure if its canon or not but I believe there was a deep space exploration museum somewhere near DS9 with a replica of the enterprise in her TOS configuration
I particularly like the first sequence where the autodestruct fails to complete and the ship manages to save itself from total destruction. It's actually plausible. Not really a stretch at all and it even explains why the ship didn't blow up completely when logically it should have. It isn't canon of course. But it could be. It wouldn't be hard at all for some future Trek show to take that idea and make it canon. Is it likely? Maybe not, but then who would have ever thought we'd see the resurrected Enterprise D going into battle again? Shows that anything is possible.
The mutinous Enterprise computer disobeyed its final order to self-destruct! There's a reason Starfleet ships have that feature - so that their technology doesn't get captured by the wrong hands and reverse engineered. Luckily Enterprise-B got to it before another faction did, or there could have been serious consequences for the Federation.

I wish the Aircraft Carrier Enterprise had been turned into a museum too.
Which one? There were two carriers named Enterprise
@@anthonylowder6687Probably refers to CVN-65
1st nuclear powered aircraft carrier.
I don't think this is corny, you done amazing work here, keep it up.
The Enterprise was destroyed above Genesis in 2285. Your fanfilm takes place in 2295, yet the stardate reads as 48634.5…which means that it would be sometime in the 24th century
And Scotty was lost on The Jenolin in 2294.
A far better fate than what she got in ST3
This is AWESOME!!!! I am happy to cry for this!!!! Keep going!!!!
Very nice. Breath of fresh air.
the og Enterprise lives on. nice
Well done!
everyone wishes James t. kirk back
Love how this changes every things that I read about Enterprise-B.
I've seen quite a few alternate future movies and such man wouldn't it be neat if they did something like that with this a what it movie where it showed the Constitution Refit Class U.S.S. Enterprise wasn't destroyed and was found by the crew of the Enterprise B and was brought home and restored to her former glory.
Terrific high-school-level production.
My thoughts too.
Don't point those things at me!
I enjoyed every moment , thank you for creating this video , it’s a great tribute an one that should have happen the movie , it an the big D being destroyed broke me heart an now I feel better knowing in this time frame of ours the 1701 an the 1701 -D live on for sure
I love how you brought the old girl back well done 👏 ✔️ 💕
Nice McCarthy theme from generations
Interesting idea. Storyline was good. Graphics reminded me of the first VR in the 80's
Poof goes the universe (Sorry that tickled me.)
One line I always loved was "Oh the Engineering sections of the Enterprise 50% of it was absolutely 100% Fed Standards." His friend looked confused "What about the other half?" "That was Scottyrigged to do whatever Kirk asked him to do."
wow. SO many references to the series in this one. love it. excellent work
I recall the first one of these and this is so much more-well done
Why oh why am I crying like a baby... Great work man!!
So the future is bright. Everyone, and I mean everyone got some banging funbags!
Spelling errors aside, this is really good.
i wonder would the TOS crew still know how to work the controls since they're so old compared to the current stuff they use on a day to day basis.
Yes wee done what would been kind of cool is showing the space shuttle enterprise in museum as well
That was touching and truly a well deserved ending even if it didn't happen in the movies or following series. Hardest thing to witness next to Spock's death scene. Would love it if in any upcoming series that they did find and give Her a proper decommissioning. To the creator of this, I thank you for making this and giving and giving the Enterprise the homecoming and retirement that was truly deserved. 👍👍
I don't remember Saavik being so endowed, LOL
Well...I mean, the Robin Curtis version wasn't, but the original Kirstie Alley version certainly was.🤷🏽♂️
And a fitting tribute to Kirsty Ally. RIP.
😂😂
Motherhood must have... had a... fascinating (!!) effect on her.
I lost my farther in 66 when star trek on TV this reminded me that is hope it was good to see that they brought her home
I Like this ending as she resting with her mother and her child as her grandchild carry on the Enterprise name.
This was fun to watch! Well done! I enjoyed it very much! I love this era of Trek
Ive been looking forward to seeing this and i can def say i am impressed :) well done bud :)
I like this and also Hike Animation copied the same concept on What If the Original Enterprise was resurrected. I really enjoyed both works.
It's nice but it's a trillion to one scenario where there is anything left of the original Enterprise
My only complaint. The voices on this sounded wooden. Great to see the Enterprise rescuing the Enterprise.
"All i ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by." Captain James T. Kirk.
I still cry when watching the Enterprise destruction in Star Trek 3: TSFS
This version was awesome
SAAVIK?! Well this was a nice surprise.
LOL, You noticed it too . The women were very endowed. Everyone had huge shoulder pads like Romulans.
Very impressive for a basically one-man production.
Wow! That was a lot of work. Great job!
Is this a movie or video game its exteremly well done, keep up the great work.
I don't know what I was expecting, but this is fantastic!
I would had preferred to see a TOS Constitution class at the Starfleet museum!😮😅😊😂
there is
When I first saw the ship I recognized it but was off. Then I saw that it was the Ares with movie era warp nacelles, It was a good and logical refit of the ship.
That conman, lol
I noticed that it was an Ares-class as well.
Good old Alec Peters... the guy who ruined fan films for everyone else... because he tried to profit from a 2 million dollar Kickstarter.
That was great. It would make a great stand alone movie or special...
But I thought a self-destruct made the warp core implode. There shouldn't be hardly anything remaning.
We didn’t see her crash
The happy ending is the resurrection of Spock.
@@fmlazar but she’s out there somewhere
@@thephantasm581 as much as I wish that man. all anyone would find is probably part of her nacelle or at most her engineering hull. I'm not sure if its canon or not but I believe there was a deep space exploration museum somewhere near DS9 with a replica of the enterprise in her TOS configuration
@@chaselaurence8783 as then admiral Kirk said there are always possibilities
this is better than current trek.
the animation was really good here, the characters feel a bit stiff though, but thats just the animation style and AI voices.
VERY GOOD
If anyone ever attacked that station, they'd have one heck of a fight on their hands.
Anything IS possible, this is Star Trek after all. Beloved ST characters don't always stay dead.
Yes, dear friend, as Captain (later ambassador)S'chn T'gai Spock quite aptly said it, there are always possibilities.
Very nicely done! It's good to see her back in operation.
well made. but I have to wonder if the Enterprise B is still waiting for everything to arrive on Tuesday.
Very well done.
An updated Ares Class Starship. My goodness me!
How wonderful. Gave a really good comfort feel. 😊
Enterprise became self aware and she saved herself. 😄 Blame V'ger's involvement.
