H5 , 5.2 meters long with over 2 meters back space YES I want one and most people that have SUV 4x4 will take them to the bush or beach perfect for camping. Will need have hybrid engines to be allowed in the country to qualify the next Australian future laws
we can see something sticking out of the driver's seat at 6:50 but still I think it is too early to judge the build quality of the car as of now, because the car was just premiered in Russia and not yet sold there (it doesn't even show up on the official Haval Russia website).. build quality is something that is improved over time and over multiple production iterations, just saying!! all in all, the car seems to be nice, and I am eager to see it released in a 7-seater version
Once again great video!! nice car, would depend how much it would cost in australia,as for 4wd capabilities with that ground clearance which is less then a subaru outback makes me wonder why GWM include high and low 4wd. From what i can see its a family car heaps of space, also light 4wd capabilities are available if needed.
I am buying one in China later this year. Modern Chinese car had become so techy which is good for anything but a 4WD. To me the perfect 4WDs are the Toyota LC70 series(except for the price) which are so simple yet strong. This thing has gotten rid of so many unnecessary tech and the price is so affordable, and its gigantic, its perfect.
The design is really good from the side and rear, front can use some changes. The engine is a deal breaker I cannot even imagine how underpowered it will be.
Very interesting and strange that even T300 flopped as you say... I wonder who is the main competitor within the same price range as a 4x4 that won Thai market over T300?
@@ValueCarsAU Tank300 is considered by Thai market as overpriced and using unpopular benzene-electirc hybrid engine other than less confidence of Chinese product. The main market for Thai SUV are among the Japanese pickup truck-based SUVs with diesel powertrain. The same things that we made and ship to sell in Australia.

Thanks Dimitri. The H5 Looks great!! Hopefully they have addressed the LKA and dangerous ACC issues.

Thank you Dimitri for another well translated review. That monster suv will make a GREAT camper.
Once again great video!!

Nice video. many thanks :)
Glad you liked it mate

If 7 seats and in Australia and much lower price point than tank 500 then i'm sold.
Yep, same, the price needs to be right and then I'd take even this exact 5 seater model.
FYI, the Tank 500 goes for around 300k rmb this thing is 150k. Its probably going to be priced at around GWM ute money.
I want a 7 seater version of the same and with a little more refinement
I'd take this level of refinement in 5 seater IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT! 😉
The design is really good from the side and rear, front can use some changes.

I'm really hyped with the direction that chinese cars are going nowadays. Being more and more modern and competitive with the european cars !
Absolutely agree. The more competition - the better for every brand and mostly consumers on the market
This is designed for camping I guess 😂😊😊
YOU THINK??? 🙄🤣
Side profile strikes me as a Chevy Suburban
I LOVE IT (and love Chevy Subs too)
what is the engine? hope it is the v6 on the tank 500
Doesn't sound like it. I think 4 cylinder petrol and diesel - as mentioned in the video.
Will this be sold as a Tank variant?
I have no idea if they'd ever sell it, but why not sell as another Haval? I guess they could go as GWM Cannon SUV too? 🤷♀️
@@ValueCarsAU Guy in the video said that the car is noisy inside. I can clearly see a quiet luxury version sold as Tank with an hybrid engine.
Not everyone wants or needs a 7 seater.
I know I don't! I'd be happy with a five seater
Looks more promising in Thailand than Tank500 too. They're flopped, altogether with its little brother Tank300.

Love your policies re politics and racist comments zero need for them here
Shame I need to post them every time, but glad that someone understands where I'm coming from...
Sadly the chassis does not make a 7 seat possible
Not sure why you say it, especially if they've confirmed that they are considering to release a 7 seater option for their market? 🤷♀️
Nope, too big. As dumb as the Everest.
I disagree mate. This is where the size matters and wins overall. Obviously, the price needs to be right (if it came to our shores).
