GOAT status cemented. We still wanna be like Mike in 2024!!!!
I'm an older retired lady now.........this is one of my All Time Favorite commercials!
Related to Jerry by chance? 🤨
@@Ttcw89 No sorry not related. Two years later this Still gives me chills. So Cool.
Takes me back to my childhood singing this song. I don't hear children of today singing how they want to be like LeBron LMAO!!!!!!!!!
That's because they want to be like Messi or Cristiano!
Its more so kobe.
Everybody says "KOBE!" When they shoot the paper ball into the trash can
@@BenjerminGaye Because Kobe was their Mike. Our Mike was the original Mike.
The move AIR was dope. Every Jordan fan should watch it
I just did!
What an awesome movie this was!
please make this the national anthem
if you’re sad watch this and believe. best commercial ever
This at the end credits of AIR was the ultimate cherry on the cake and brought back many memories been playing this and singing it all the way home
Back when kids actually played outside. 😂
Bro I turned 30 back in January and I still hit those basketball courts like it is nothing but it is a shame kids don't go out these days but you absolutely right you definitely we definitely played outside not like this generation now sitting in the house playing video games on your phone 🤦🏾♂️
You’re right.. but I mean kids now gotta worry too much about getting shot these days. It’s a sick world now here the 10 year old has the gun
That man had it all! Awesome talent!
The one ad that I actually look up and watch the whole thing.
Damn, out of all the people who admired MJ and watched this ad, Kobe was the one who came so close...pretty amazing
I’m 44 years old & almost crying after watching this old commercial!
#Nostalgia
I was a kid when this came out😪
Put aside MJ's talent on the court, his impact on sports marketing has changed forever.
Mike had 4vhs tapes, was in a video with the legendary Michael Jackson, won 6 rings, was known as black jesus on the court ..I mean who wouldn't wannabe like Mike.
I’d rather be lebron
I always thought this was a Wheaties commercial, my wife remembered it as a Nike commercial, so we looked it up and I was instantly back in 1993. Damn I love that man. Long live the GOAT. I’m going to go watch highlight reals for the next 7 days. Nostalgias a hell of a thing.
0:43 - I didn't know LeBron was in this ad, as a kid.
I remember this commercial like it was yesterday, Jordan put Nike and Gatorade on the map. they already was making money but he took them to a whole new level. I have seen a lot of great NBA players in my day but no one like Mike!!! You had to live it and experience the greatness of this man. He flew thru the air with such grace and made game winning shots look like nothing. And in the NBA finals forget about it, You was not going to beat that man. I still wanna be like Mike!!!
TheWilder30 *were
sliat1981*were what?
TheWilder30 you said they already "was" making money. The correct grammar is they were making money
sliat1981 You have got to be joking right? Are some of you guys on UA-cam ok? One guy read my comment and had to write me and tell me he about how much he didn't care and now a grammar coach. You weirdos sure know how to take the fun out of commenting on UA-cam.
TheWilder30 yea some weirdos on UA-cam grammar correcting freaks
I watched this for the first time in over 30 yrs and it made me tear up. The nostalgia, the simple times. I remember being a dumb 7yo spinning around in the floor singing this
Right? Makes me want to go get a McJordan from McDonald's
What a beutiful time this was...id give anything 2 go back just for a day...
Kobe better
@MarvelMadness2003 kobe is my number one dude..but I'm old
.my was the shit in the early 90s
@@DanielPark-qz5pj you don’t look old bro if it makes you feel better😂
