- No matter the mmo collecting mounts is always a desired activity. In this video I go over a variety of easy to get mounts that can be obtained early on before every finishing A Realm Reborn. From quest to pvp the game provide a good arrangement for any player just starting their journey

Imo best new player mount you never see people using is the deathclaw from achievement tokens. It's a unique riding style, there are no "clones" or other similar mounts, and you can get it way earlier and with pretty much 0 effort other than just playing the game
I obtained the behemoth mount & then got the rising pheonix mount, then the deathclaw mount from the vendor & I haven't seen any other mount animation style like that. It's my favorite out of them all.
What do you have to do for it
Completing achievements in the game will earn you achievement tokens. You can obtain them and redeem them at the achievement vendor in old Gridania. He's up near Apkallu Falls
it was my first mount. felt so cool just flying hanging in the air
for events to wait for: Starlight Celebration in december 2022 earns you a reindeer mount. no red nose attached, but still pretty :D

3:11 -- Thanks for sharing your achievement points. You are now exposed as a top 2000 player on your Data center, and top 400 on your world. For all of you who don't know what 12,000 Achievement points means : This man has done over 1/2 of all the possible things available in a game that's had huge data patches and expansions for over 10 years. He is what is called a "LIFER" and I bet he even has the Lifer titles.(they are named achievements for running thousands of dungeons and extremes).
For people who don't know also: There are between 2 and 3 million daily players of FFXIV.. It has a turnover rate of over 60% daily, which means that of the 28 million active characters, at least 10-12 million unique accounts log in at least once a week. There are 10 data centers.. That roughly equates to 1 million to 1.5 million players per data center who play at least once a week.
He's in the top 2,000 of that in lifetime achievement points, and probably in the top 1000 in mounts too.
I've been playing since 2018 January, and 2020 Summer continuously, and I only have 10,100 pts myself, and 135 mounts. That puts me top 2000 of 1.5 mill on my data center on each. And I play HARD when I get time.
So Nasty Namazu, I would ask you two things
1. What year did you start playing FFXIV (include dates when you got serious).
2. Just how many things (areas of content) did you think you've done to get there? If you can't figure it out, just list your favorites.
I've played on and off since ARR, but shadowbringers was the first time I made it fully through the game(5.2 to be specific)
As for the content. Its not something I've really thought about. Blue and Bozja are the only thing I would say I actually farmed out, and a lot of my achievements would just be from doing stuff with my fc like maps or old mount farms
This is kind of an interesting take. I have 13,175 points and started in 2021 and have taken several long breaks.
I think the achievement system is nice for giving you perspective on what you’ve accomplished in game but doesn’t say much about you as a player, especially your skill with battle classes, except that you’ve been playing for a while.
He forgot about the other crossover event with Monster Hunter… That has a mount. A very cool mount!

I can’t get into any pvp matches is there a reason for this
If your on the free trial your unable to play pvp, and if your in na and on Dynamis you might be better off using the dc travel function for faster queue times.

None of them are better than the Chocobo, imo. You can change its color and add barding to change its look.

You can always try posting your share code to the reddit in the description, or just try and get some friends to play the game with your code.
You can also move from a congested or normal world to a new world such as currently exist in Dynamis and get 10 gold chocobo feathers. Enough for the mount.
